I understand the situation (lots of college students needing last minute storage rentals) was intense, but the manager was less than enthusiastic to be there. She moved literally like a snail & while she was friendly enough, yawned several times (almost exaggerated) without covering her mouth. I found this quite inappropriate. The older woman walking around offering help was wonderful! Extremely friendly & helpful. Overall experience was very good & I would continue to rent here, due to convenience & cleanliness. I do hope the first month free rental offered to students is actually honored.

The 24/7 truck share took a while to get approval when I arrived to the location. I had to wait in 25 degree F weather for half an hour just because my alternate contact wasn’t at the phone. I think there definitely should be a faster way to get approval (like adding alternate contacts ahead of time and the contacts can vouch through email/call ahead of time).

I am angry beyond belief, picked up a van yesterday. returned if five minutes after they closed, they were aware that the van was returned at 5:06 pm, I called this morning to make sure everything was ok because I was not able to do the online return. Just got the email confirmation I was charged for 2 days plus an after hour return fee - I was never told about the after hours fee or being charged for the second day because even thought they open earlier they didnt check the van in until after 8AM -- It if futile to talk to Scary the manager. This is not over

The folks at this Uhaul are great! Sheri Robbins is a joy to work with. She is competent, professional, and fun and will make sure you are getting what you need for any project. I also like that the trucks are clean and the facility is well maintained. Hats off to this crew! You can't go round renting from the team here at 3700 Bigelow Blvd, in Pittsburgh!

They refused my refund/ change back & lied about extra charges that were false just to increase revenue. The female store manager was off & phoned by Uhaul employee & she is utterly disgusting & disrespectful to myself & embarrassed her male, long haired employee & customers both pick up & drop off. She was phoned by the cashier about my 1st initial complaint. My Uhaul 15 ft needs an Alignment & to be put into the shop for repairs. The truck was so dangerous to drive just to keep it from turning on it's own resorting and causing an accident. So I requested a discount & the online drop off app did not work per Uhaul directions. This unprofessional female sherry I recall was off work today & asked to go on speaker phone and immediately behaved so unprofessional yelling & screaming about my false charges that I'd rather go up the chain to call my Attorney & Uhaul District & Regional Managers. Additionally when I opened the back of the truck up the right side wall had so much blood splashed all over the place that it made me gag. Very unsanitary, suspicious & full of negligence. I want a full refund for the poor/ awful treatment, unsafe truck to drive, over charges that even the cashier stated were not accurate & was also confused. I WANT A FULL REFUND

The truck didn’t want to start. When driving at 25 miles it felt like the truck was going to cut off no power and the brakes felt like they may needed checked. The steering wheel loose and wipers needs replaced. The door on the driver side was hard to close. I believe each truck should be serviced and checked before rental. This was my first time using this location. I usually go to Washington Blvd location. I didn’t feel comfortable driving the truck to my new house with all my belongings not nothing if the truck will shut down. Never again.

I rented the truck for a one day rental. I took it back one day later and instead of just charging me the 19.95 a day plus mileage I was charged a $200 cleaning fee and another $220 in equipment fees and tax when I didn’t even use any equipment. I was over charged $420 because the manager was mad the vehicle was returned a day later than the rental was for. So instead of charging me for the additional day she through multiple other charges on the bill to justify her vindication.

The online drop off was cumbersome and didn't actually work. I had very pleasant experiences with the actual locations but the general U-Haul customer service was terrible. My reservation was totally messed up and I almost did not have a truck. Thank goodness for Stoicheffs, they were actually able to accommodate my order.

The general manager was beyond less than helpful or pleasant. When they tried to charge me for an extra day and I brought it to their attention, she curtly told me 'I go by the computer' instead of simply doing the math and looking it up herself to double check. Her attitude was simply terrible at both pick up and delivery. I was also over charged for the daily rate of protection on the Uhaul but it wasn't even worth the effort of dealing with her to get the 14$. Her co-worker Evan was the opposite and very helpful and pleasant every time i called and lengthen the original reservation.

Because there was no contract at the pick-up location, there was no record of the truck being rented out, nor was the truck expected back at this location. Evan was amazing! He spent over an hour on the phone with corporate trying to resolve the issue all while assisting other customers with their returns and pick-ups. Despite being at this location for only 4 weeks, he handled the situation with exemplary professionalism.

A district manager was helping two u haul employees pass a test. first, traiing should not be conducted when customers are present. second, the idea that she was helping them pass a test is discouraging. It took over 30 minutes to pick up my reserved rental. There were three U Haul employees with two computers and it took 30 minutes. I reserved a pick up truck and the district manager suggested a van instead because it might rain. I specifically asked if the dimensions would accommodate a kind size bed, she insisted it would be fine. Well, it wasn't. I used twice as much gas because I had to make twice as many trips and wasn't able to complete the work according to my schedule. As if that wasn't enough, when I called to say I would be arriving after the location closed but before my contract was up I was instructed to download the U Haul app. I did this and tried to return the truck. It didn't work. I called for assistance. I spent over 30 minutes with a customer service representative who did not listen to me. In the end, he had me take photos and send by email. Your organization has been modified to streamline process with technology but you have the wrong people in place to provide any customer service.

Was charged a cleaning fee for not folding rented blankets. Employee agreed to waive fee after I told him I would fold them and had no idea that was required when renting blankets. Wasn't told this was a rule nor could I find it in my rental agreement. Not the best experience.

I was not able to sign in to the uhaul app during the truck drop off and I had informed the customer service rep the same night and was told that I wouldn’t be charged the extra 20$ fees but I was charged the extra fees and they were not ready to refund it. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. Please improve your service.

When I returned the trailer the employee who took the trailer off my car proceeded to lose control and smack it into 2 other uhaul vehicles on their lot! Location wise it is great, but I was not impressed with the staff there.

I set up a check up process through the app, however when I get the confirmation email, it was for a different time and location than I had selected. I had to redo my order twice before the information I put in was accepted. The woman running the counter on Saturday, August 17th, was rude. I felt like more of a nuisance than a customer. Even though I selected 'check in through the app' I had to go inside and check in and give more information and have my card swiped. Why have an option for using the app if it's going to do nothing? When I went to return my truck, I waited at the return window for 10 minutes, and no one came. When I saw several people head towards to office, I followed, where I saw the same woman from before. She took my keys when she walked passed me while I was in line. On a more positive note, the truck we rented was well maintained; it was clean and drove perfectly. I will not be returning to this location. As this is the most convenient location for me, odds are I will not be returning to use U-Haul again.

When I went to do a 24/7 mobile pick-up on 8/2 my truck was completely blocked in by 3 other trucks so that it was impossible to get out (photos available). I therefore lost 12 hours of my rental time and had my out-of-state (Pitt to NYC) moving plans derailed because I had to return at opening the next morning (8/3) to speak to the manager to get a different truck (I had planned to pack the truck that night and leave early the next morning). The manager also switched the drop-off location without notifying me at the time to a location that was extremely inconvenient to me, especially after a very long day of driving and moving my stuff in; instead of a 10 min drive to return the truck as I had reserved, it would have been 40 min. I am very frustrated by the major mistake that was made followed by the unforgiving and ungracious way it was handled. I feel that a discussion of a refund of the rental to compensate my time lost and extremely poor customer service experience is warranted. I have already paid the fuel charge and the toll charge as those were my responsibility; I ask that you take responsibility now for your company and right this wrong.

The pick process took a long time even with reservations because there was only one person working...dropping off using the “new” app was also a headache. Just last week the process was quick and painless. I don’t think I will ever be using Uhaul again after this.

I used this location after U-haul cancelled a previous reservation that was made on Washington Blvd in Pittsburgh. The reservation was cancelled because I went to pick it up 3 hours after the pick up time. The store manager let me know that I only had a one hour window during which Uhaul holds the reservation, after which it's automatically cancelled. No one communicated this to me either verbally or in writing. You need to do a better job ensuring customers are aware of your policies so that they can plan accordingly

Sherry was very friendly. But overall experience was pretty bad. Sherry was the only one working there and there was a line of about 4+ people waiting when I got there. The 10' truck I rented - I was told that it's difficult to start, that you have to turn the wheel back and forth to be able to turn the key. I messed with it for about 5 minutes they went back into the office stood back in line until Sherry can come out and help me get it started. Then I almost got stranded as I was helping someone move to the next location took quite a while to get it started had to yank the steering wheel all the way to the left just to get the key to turn. Had to leave the truck running at the next stop in fear I could not get it started again. This was the oddest and worst experience I had with Uhaul. Please get the truck fixed and in the meantime do not rent it out to anyone else! I honestly can't believe I even had to pay for this.

I didn't know where the entrance was because there are all kinds of signs everywhere, but none that clearly show the entrance. It also wasn't clear whether I could park my car in the lot, so I parked on the street, which was correct. The lady wasn't pleasant at all. She seemed miserable and had quite an attitude. Maybe she was just having a bad day, so I didn't provoke her.

Our issue was we were billed for August rent although we had our daughter's belongings moved out and the locker cleaned out on august 2nd. We were told rent is never prorated. Very disappointing!

I ordered a truck and was given the keys to a van from the 24hr box. It was a simple mistake but no one was available to help fix it. The van was suffient for my needs but it still wasted my time to try to call and be put on infinite hold, and I paid for a truck not a van. Let the next customer have a hotline in case the keys are mixed up, or have a page on the site that confirms that the key is correct.

i rented a locker for a month jul 15 i rented a truck on aug 18th to move out and they wouldnt give me any break had to pay for a second month on the locker ill just use Gaurdian next tyime
