They asked if we ordered the moving pads, we said yes because we paid for them. They put the trailer on our vehicle and said the pads were inside and walked away. The pads weren't there. When you try to call this actual location good luck because they rarely answer. Worst Uhaul place!

The 26 foot truck we rented to move 567 miles had poor steering. To much play in steering wheel and barely made it up here. Will never rent from again and the price was ridiculous. Will never refer a friend ever again. Uhaul has screwed up for the last time with me.

Everything about the experience was great except a working when checking me in place insurance on my contract. This, when I first refused the insurance when booking the rental on line, and again when setting across from him. When asking him to remove, he explained the difficulty and that I needed to do this and that. After a stern conversation he promised to take care of the matter.

Rental Staff was excellent. One of the two people sent to get the trailer I had rented after showings them there was a problem with the brake did not like that. When he tried to direct me to another one, I could not understand his hands signal because he was using his finger that I couldn’t see. When I mentioned that I was told I needed to shut up. I tried to apologize for my comment but he would not accept it. And the trailer I received turned out to be to small for my project, However I took it anyway.

Horrendous customer service. People are simply not trained. At least an hour to check a reserved truck out (they probably won't have the correct one) and to return it. Don't expect your charges to be correct and not a single employee will know how to fix it. Talking on cell phones, looking at face book is what is important to these employees. It was a shocking experience and I will not ever return to this location, even though it is closest to my home. I absolutely will never refer anyone here. What a shit show.

I made a reservation online, wad given a reservation number and arrived at the time I stated I would show up. I walked in, waited for 10 minutes to finally have an associate walk in to assist me in picking up my trailer. She looked up my reservation and said they didn't have it, I would need to go to another location. The I drive 20 minutes out of my way to pick up the trailer, the wrong one is reserved and we go back inside again to get the right one. I use the trailer and return it about 19 hours later. Then 2 days later I get a notice of collection via email, and have to call in and tell them to look around and find the guy I turned in the trailer with. Horrible experience.

A minor complaint is that you did not notify us 24 hours in advance (as promised) when you would be delivery pods to our point of origin. But a much bigger complaint is that your quote was for $1700+/- shipping from Port St Lucie FL to Florence WI, and you actually charged me $2568 +/-. I have filed a formal complaint and am awaiting a call back from your Resolution people.

During my needy moments and the changes that occurred regarding the moves I've had to make, the staff at Uhaul were very accommodating and gave me good advice in making good decisions for storage.

The owner was ticked about something someone else had done and even though the anger wasn’t pointed at me, I definitely was impacted. He made derogatory comments to other workers - probably founded, but not very professional with customers waiting to right in front of him to be served. Then checkout took longer because he was texting whoever he was ticked with in the middle of our transaction. It was uncomfortable for us, we were in a hurry , and it just impacted an already stressful time for us. All of the employees were friendly and did their job well outside of this experience.

Line is getting long. After performing the check in via the website we had to spend a long time at the counter rechecking and adding more details. What is the purpose of the website check in? Too many prompts on the website. I suggest an app system where the customer can self check-in and scan the trailer/truck/etc that is available. I suggest numbering the parking lot with letters and numbers. Row A, parking 1. and/or add colors to it. Reconsider the lanes to drive in and out of the lot for more efficiency. My car got damaged by the employee. He pulled the trailer by hand from behind my vehicle to the parking spot, after stating that the vehicle/device they use to pull the trailers is out of service. Have them use the local trucks to pull the heavy equipment so they don’t get hurt.

Had to wait another while for the employee to also go to the same place and not locate the truck. Also, the in-town rate says 19.99 which is super misleading. Cameron was great with his customer service. in the yard, Dakota was exceptional with getting my truck and car transport setup. the paper work had a minor issue, but he jumped in and resolved the problem quickly. I returned the truck at closing time, and again Dakota received my equipment with a smile and great courtesy. He appears to have great customer skills, pride in his job and a true value of satisfying the customer. Don't loose him, he is a great asset to your company. Great leadership and management potential.

Upon pickup the location was disorganized. Three clerks. 2 brand new. Very busy. They were doing the best they could but staffing needs help. Once waited on truck availability was unclear so we were assigned a truck that wasn’t available then had to wait to be reassigned another one. The one we were assigned ran awful. When we returned it I informed the manager and it turned out it didn’t have any oil in it. This location needs a staffing overhaul and the Manager needs to get a handle on the situation. It’s a huge Uhaul, the largest in the area and there should be no reason for disorganization and long wait times, especially during peak periods such as weekends.

I waited at least 30 minutes picking up the truck and spent at least 45 minutes dropping it off. They had given me the wrong truck and the contract was wrong. The manager finally took care of it but said I went over 100 miles and reversed the charge and the charged me an additional $50. I will not be going to this location again.

We were redirected 17 miles from the closest location - same day that we picked up the UHaul 10ft trailer due to over capacity. We were never provided the online contract that was promised that should have told us the drop us process. We were directed to go to the Narcoosee/Semoran Blvd Orlando - we were told to leave the keys in the truck, they would check it in, not a problem. Now, they are billing us for 22 days! We had the truck for more time checking out and checking in the vehicle due to your "automated process".

The Palm Bay Uhaul location overcharged for my rental. I was quoted 39 cents per mile in writing. When I returned the cargo van the same day I was charged 69 cents per mile. I called Uhaul headquarters to ask for a partial refund. To their credit Uhaul HQ refunded 93 dollars to my credit card. The local Palm Bay service personnel claimed they couldn't execute the refund. Uhaul HQ quickly and efficiently processed my refund.

Rented the truck in Melbourne and scheduled to drop off at the Palm Bay Jupiter location. We rented a dolly from the main Palm Bay location as well (later that day). When we were finished with the equipment we were told we couldn’t return the dolly and the truck at the same location. So we dropped the dolly off at the main location and drove the truck to the agreed upon location. Once we reached the jupiter location (a gas station that parks uhaul trucks) an ‘employee’ met me outside and told me that ‘due to the impending hurricane, they were routing all trucks to the main location and I would have to return it there.’ well I had just come from there and was told it would be a fee to return it there. I was so angry-after moving all day and getting prepared for a hurricane myself-I dropped the keys into the uhaul box and left. If you contract out space to local gas stations-it is up to YOU and that gas station to move your own trucks where you want them. I am the customer that paid for your service and dropped off the equipment where I was supposed to. VERY disappointing experience.

The equipment was good and I had no issues with the rental process. However, the staff at front desk and the person receiving my truck were not customer friendly at all. Perhaps a they were battling with the stress of having to work and not being able to prep for the hurricane that was approaching and for that I think I may give this location one more try.

I rented a uhaul truck for in town and onky drive about 20 miles and they charged me 150$ for an in town truck when i asked them to fix it they said they couldnt and i had to call corporate so i did.
