This facility had some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They would not honor my existing reservation that included a free month with truck, and provided no tangible information about their "policy" that did not match up with the rental agreement I had already signed online. My online reservation had already assigned me a unit and I had completed the online move in process, but they insisted that I would have to create another reservation through them where I would be charged instead of receiving a free month. I will be cancelling the existing reservation altogether because after such a poor experience I do not trust this facility to safely store my belongings. Based on the terrible reviews online for this location, I don't understand how U haul is allowing them to still be operating. Terrible service and has now dampened my perception of the entire company.

The fuel measurement on the paper they gave me was wrong. The fuel in the uhaul was at 1/8 rather than 1/4. And then they charged me for the fill-up for the wrong measurement. They even charged me a $30 fee for filling up gas on top of the cost of the gas. The uhaul came in the worst condition i've seen a uhaul in. The windshield had a huge crack, the check engine light was on, the fuel cap was loose and wouldn't seal, the uhaul was filthy dirty. Very unsatisfied.

I had unpleasant experience with this uhaul location. Apparently, they are not familiar what the customer service is. I came to pick up a cargo trailer and was expecting to get some kind of onboarding and basic instructions. Instead of that I had a tow hitch receiver installed incorrectly that could've caused a structure damage to my car. The personnel was not attentive or engaging in any way.

We were expecting to pick-up our U-Haul in Wellington, CO and not an hour away in Denver, which we didn't find out until the night before. This added extra stress to an already stressful move. The staff and the facility were very clean and professional.

The location was great, my only and biggest complaint is with the company of U-Haul itself. I booked my reservations two weeks before I was planning my move, and the day before I was supposed to pick up U-Haul canceled the reservation saying they over booked and there are no trucks available in the entire state. They gave no alternatives, they were no help at finding another truck. Luckily I was able to find one myself in Montana that was much smaller. We now have to go back for a second load. We now have to rent another truck and pay for the gas to get us 1000 miles to where our stuff is, then pay for the gas to get us 1000 miles back to our new home. U-Haul‘s mistake will put us out literally thousands of dollars. I will do everything in my power to NEVER use this company ever again. And I will tell everyone I know to do the same. What's the point in reserving a vehicle if it's not actually reserved?

The trucks check engine light was on. The truck was smoking and loud. I thought it was going to stop working. Also the lady I rented the truck said I wouldn't be charged if I brought the truck back after 11. I was charged for another day.

The rental experience/process was simple which was great. The cargo van smelled like cigarettes and marijuana, it evident someone smoked nothing the van. We also would have appreciated having more gas in the tank because it said there was only 22 miles left when we rented it and had to stop at the closest gas station right away.

This was in a very rough neighborhood and we witnessed drug deals.. my children were very scared. After dropping off the equipment I noticed my debit card abs drivers license missing. I went completely out of my way to go back there to ask if they had found it and within a second she said no very suspicious like. When I asked if I could go look she said no. Very very unhappy … needless to say it put me in a horrid position and with no drivers license I couldn't rent a car to get to my next location. Very very unhappy and disappointed with your company and especially that location. An hour after drop off I received a call asking when I was going to drop off, and I had requested a certain location and the original location was still on file. I was told that I'd get charged double the rate for dropping off in wrong location and late. I called corporate manager and they were able to fix the thud cff he argue.6

I was told by some young lady who was an employee that the gas level was at a certain point and it was not so I took photos of mileage and gasoline, when I replaced the gas and brought the truck back I also took photos,I was charged for gas that was supposed to be replaced anyway.i filled a complaint on line and felt like I was targeted by the staff at this location. I was reimbursed for the extra gas charged to my card and it makes me courious about how many people have been targeted at the same location!!!!!

U-haul location was changed, but not emailed to me. I showed at the wrong location and tried to mobile check-in only to find out it was 10 miles away. I was able to pick-up the rental at the other location with no issues and was told this was a guaranteed reservation so I was entitled to the $50 guarantee. Also, I asked for reimbursement or the extra 20 miles that I had to drive the U-haul due to the change in location. I called U-haul and they filed a case and said a scheduling manager would respond in 48 hours. I have yet to get a response.

Do yourself a big favor, and rent your truck and/or storage unit, from THIS location. From pick up, to delivery and even before all of that, when I just called to ask questions, the staff was absolutely excellent. Courteous, knowledgeable, very helpful and most of all patient. I rented a truck and then a storage unit. From buying boxes, to changing my drop off time, and even changing the size of my unit... The staff was amazing. - Keep up the great work and thank you

This location's employees are great! Very nice and helpful. One guy in particular is always in a good mood and helpful and great. My only complaint is about the app check in process (not about the location). The app almost NEVER works when I try to check the trucks in after hours. It seems to break when I go to upload photos. I sat outside at night for 20 min trying to get the app to upload the photos, reduing the whole checkout process several times. It's very frustrating. I finally just have to walk away and leave the the truck for the uhual team to check it in, but I try. I really try. It just doesn't work. And that's frustrating because I know I'll get charged to have uhual checked it in the next day. Please fix this.

The employees here are great. The location is big with lots of trucks and parking which is nice. The homeless around is a little bit sketchy so I'm not sure I'd recogmend it to everyone, but some people I would still. The app frequently doesnt work when I go to return the uhual, so the app makes it hard to check in at night. Overall, this location is nice other than the homeless or people at the bus station.

I had to drive a distance to get the cargo trailer when there was a location less than a mile from my house that I thought I was picking up the trailer from. Listing a preferred location doesn't mean you will be able to pick up at that location. Overall it was easy to get.

I have been charged for 100 miles when I only drive between 8-12 miles. I called to get the issue rectified and all I was told was that there were only new people working and they didn't know what I was doing. The customer service at this location was very poor and I will be calling to dispute this charge because I have photographic proof that their charges were bogus.

The truck rented by me was handed over to me with an EMPTY fur tank, MISSING wiper blade- on a snowy day! It was not cleaned , nor inspected before sending back out. The situation was resolved by me; however, the hour delay caused a domino effect of chaos the rest of the day. The female associate on duty was more than rude-fiercely aggressive and unhelpful while a was trying to return the truck. I am a tough female myself, but only when provoked; I did nothing to warrant such hostility. The male associate, who initially checked the truck out to me was helpful and gave me clear instructions on returning the truck at 7:15 pm-(after hours drop box) on a snowy night. Moving is tough, but it needs not be made worse by folks who are not rude and uninterested in being where they are, and faulty trucks.

A few comments just for feedback purposes: 1. Need trash cans in the rental building. I realize some people will throw stuff away that should not go in there, but need a place to throw away regular trash. 2. The alarms are annoying and too loud for people who are following the process. Either education people better or find a better way to alert staff. Even try to isolate the alarm to an area so not even one in the whole building hears it. I mean what are we going to do? The building is too large for us to even know where the issue is. 3. While the units felt secure, there were a number of times people just loitering around made the environment feel unsafe. Maybe consider a security guard. 4. Staff was very helpful both in getting the unit when the u-box was defected and also signing out. Overall a good experience but things can be done to both improve the experience using the units and securing the environment.

Although I had a terrible experience with my rental contract, it was a corporate issue and not a local store issue. Ben, the general manager, went out of his way to immediately remedy the situation as best he could, and then there was additional follow-up a couple of weeks later. I understand that sometimes poor communication happens and poor situations result. But I will continue to be a Uhaul customer in spite of the poor experience because of the positive resolution that Ben caused.

Ben and his crew are top notch! The facility was always clean and well lit. The climate control was always consistent. If any supporting facility, such as bathrooms or moving doors, needed attention, they were either on it right away or within 24 hours. Thanks for a great stay! I have asked for a final receipt for my storage unit 2034, which was finished on Nov 19, but still have yet to receive this. I was also over charged a total of $69 for my Uhaul truck, which has still not been finalized despite multiple emails to the General Manager. I am not sure what else I can do, but this feels very unprofessional.

There should be a maintained trash can in the back by the sliding doors. People just throw stuff on the ground instead. Not a good look.

The alarm keeps going off too frequently. I use my access card but possibly others don't or it is way too sensitive so when you use your storage the alarm is almost constantly going off and it is so loud and piercing. Maybe something to look into.

The staff was AWESOME!! EVERYONE at the facility was refreshingly casual, but got it done! The staff was definitely 5 star! Very helpful and just solid employees. However, the design of the facility is a bit inconvenient while trying to lug things up stairs. Understandable when considering squeezing of square footage. Thank you all, for your commitment to, awesomeness! Storing my furniture, clothes and whatnots, with you, we're awesome! Good facility but no elevators for second level storage I didn't have a first level storage I had a second level storage and lifting the heavy stuff up the stairs was a bit of an issue there were no dollies available also could not find a bathroom in there store was neat and clean staff was there to help one questions were asked. Need more storage amenities in there the day I went Saturday was a pretty busy day and it was hard to get the flatbeds to move your stuff off the truck small wait a lot of sharing. Other than that good storage location easy to find I feel it's fairly new I don't remember that being there and affordable. I did have issues with the u-haul app when trying to check the truck in the app kept closing it wouldn't allow me to check the truck in or upload my pictures.

The size of the units is really small compared to what they tell you will fit - a 5x10x10 is supposed to fit a 1200 sqft home - NO WAY! Use caution when choosing your unit. Other than that, all went smoothly for the most part.

They were still taking money out of my account after I have been gone for two months I called to let them know about that . The employee hung up in my face then 8 minutes later she proceeded to be just another month's rent out of my account again after I told her I didn't owe her for the last two payments they just took. I kept calling trying to get a hold of a manager they wouldn't would not put a manager on the phone. I finally got ahold of . someone at corporate and said they sent the message to the manager who never called I actually got in my car and go over there myself to get ahold of he says he's put the money back on my card but so far haven't showed up I'll give it a few more days and then contact the lawyer I will never recommend or ever use you all again and I usede you all 3my whole life renting trucks I Won't Go Back

I was given a run around that day at other uhaul locations close by, but katie? I think was her name. She really excelled at her duties from the paperwork to taking charge and helping me with the trailer. Stellar team you have, and the place was so clean and he area with ac was nice and comfortable.

This place is extremely, extremely well run. The only issue I had were some very sketchy individuals hanging around the storage facility entrance. However, I know the staff is doing what they can to deal with them. I saw the staff kicking people out and issuing threats to call the police, etc.

I LOVE the U-Haul Park Hill location and it's staff!!! As moving is stressful, Benjamin and his team makes sure you have everything you need to make your move easier. I will always refer U-Haul as a preferred choice

The individual who serviced my contracts at the location was very professional and absolutely stunning. She was friendly and courteous. I would also like to thank the quick response and professionalism of the manager who helped my daughter and me get to the storage unit after hours.

The card system was a bit more complicated to use after hours and wasn't informed that the loading dock doors would be non operational. Was informed that the lock was a zip lock only to find out that it wasn't. Luckily I was able to get ahold of the employee to correct this in time before they closed. I would suggest to have security on the premises as during move-in, there were alot of shady people around. (I.e. a guy was in a truck driving in circles in the parking lot/loading dock and yelling at himself). Alarms would randomly go off as well??

Absolutely incredible staff. Super friendly and very helpful for the weary traveler. I was exhausted and couldn't go up stairs so they said no problem and just got me a new space just like that ground level and close to the unloading area. Very great full.

Cindy was an excellent customer service rep. She was super helpful and kind. She made sure I walked away with what was best for me. I had reserved a 20' truck, but since there wasn't one in stock, she upgraded me to a 26' truck at no extra cost and even threw on a dolly. I appreciated that, and for that reason, I would absolutely recommend this location.

A better explanation or signage for what causes the alarms to go off would be great. Even when I checked in properly, walking down the aisle of my unit set off the alarm. Added to my anxiety and ultimately my decision to move out.

It was almost impossible to get anyone to end my storage and cancelled the unit the same day that I turned in the trailer that I rented. I called and cancelled the unit 2 weeks before it was due.

I was moving all of my personal belongings into a storage unit. The original storage unit that I ordered online was shown to me when I arrived to look at it. It was an "example space" the rep told me. Then, a few minutes later a different representative came and took me to my actual space... which was WAY, WAY, WAY smaller than the size that they had showed me before. I asked why is this space much smaller? The rep said "Oh! You weren't looking at the arrows on the floor!" Nobody told me about any arrows on the floor in the example space I did not have very much time, because I was moving the very next day, and I had limited money... As my children and I would be homeless for the next three months, so of course I could not "ask for a larger space, for more money". The result?? I had to throw out 1/3 of my furniture that I had been collecting furniture for 30 years. I had to throw out my bigger furniture in order to fit into you guys as much smaller space. I did not have time to sell my furniture, instead. You guys did the old "Bait and Switch" on me. I'm going to make sure that the better Business bureau is contacted regarding this. I also lost all of my furniture, because apparently U-Haul doesn't care that and we were in the midst of a pandemic, and me and many other people lost every job they had. There were priceless items in that storage space my children's baby items, hundreds of books that I collected over the years, and I'm 49 years old I had journals back from the time I was 17 years old that were thrown out. I was glad that U-Haul kept my items as long as you guys did. My financial situation is slowly turning around, but right now, I can't afford to pay anything except my rent, which is exorbitant. Also, you U-Haul must hire better customer service people. The few I spoke with made it clear that I was not going to get anywhere with them, so I stopped answering when I did not recognize a phone number.

Super easy and convenient experience. I made a big move and had too many work supplies to store in a much smaller apartment than previously had. The facility was extremely well maintained, but most importantly, the process was a breeze from start to finish.

I ordered online but when my husband went to move stuff in he decided it was too small. So they let him get a bigger one. But he forgot to ask for climate control and had to go back the next day to change again. No hassles, no extra fees, they let him change and I really appreciate that.
