I made a reservation on the 5th of july, got a confirmation and went in the day before and spoke with the GM about the reservation. When I showed up to pick up the equipment they said they did not have the truck that I reserved due to someone not bringing it back when they were supposed to. This cannot be the first time this has happened for uhaul, it is very poor management to not have a backup system in case this happens. I had to wait for close to an hour in the store for someone to finally tell me the truck was not there. I ended up getting a truck but it was by luck that someone pulled in with one as I was about to leave. So to answer the question above the box - Get it together !!

Tyree Wilson denied my reservation for a 15ft box truck for a week rental, i had picked up a 10ft truck earlier and asked if my second rental would be ready and was told it was confirmed. When I spent $20 dollars on a ride to pick up the truck I was told I could not get that truck that they had in their lot that I had reserved and got confirmation about earlier that day. so I wasted $40 getting a ride back and forth from the uhual store and then had to drive over half an hour to another location to get the truck I had reserved at this location.

I needed a cargo van and the GM said I could only rent it with a MAJOR credit card. I told him I had rented a pickup at an other location using my debit card and they had no problem. His reply was that they broke the rules by doing that and I ended up with a box truck that cost me $.20 MORE per mile. That's not cool! Especially when I live closer to that location. Lesson learned. Thank God I dont need Uhaul all the time. Not sure why he needed to take my ID and hold it under the counter either. If he needed to scan it fir the rental that should be done where the customer can see. Made me nervous, hopefully no one decides to drive by my house sometime.

When I arrived at that location the staff told me they didnt have the truck I reserved so I had to go somewhere else....what a nightmare and waste of my time on moving day!

I was incorrectly billed for one way trip to Colorado when my move was in Pa. I was very clear on my starting and ending point. I want to know why my credit information was used again for someone else. It’s extremely scary to think that my credit card info was saved and erroneously used due to disorganization/incompetence.

My truck was given away to another guest, I had a reservation and they canceled it then they I believe canceled someone else’s reservation to give me my truck and told me to drop it off any time after hours since I wasn’t given my full allotted time, I was then charged for two days. This is now the second time using uhaul and I could not imagine a worse experience

Frustrated that I booked a truck and Dolly weeks in advance, and when I arrived at pickup I noticed there was no Dolly. The employee was happy to send me off knowing I didn't have one, and that I'd prepaid for it. After inquiring, I was told they were out of them. Apparently booking in advance does not guarantee reservation - at least for this location. Thankfully the warehouse employee found me a small Dolly I could get by with, though I nearly had to go to the store and purchase one (tight moving deadline). And after having to ask, I was reimbursed the price of the dolly. When I returned they wanted to charge me for packing blankets I never ordered or originally had. All in all, the experience worked out, and I got move done. The lack of communication about the dolly was frustrating, let alone the expectation that I would have one because I literally paid for it. The smartphone check-in is half baked and still required waiting in line at the store to talk to employees. Could have been better, but not the worst.

The staff at the UHaul Location I rented from was excellent. The website for 24/7 share and the 1-800 customer service didn't work at all, which was hugely disappointing. The location services wouldn't work on my phone and therefore I the website wouldn't let me officially return the rental. No one answer the 1-800 line. I finally got someone on an online chat after I got home. Asked them to hold while I sent photos from my phone and they cut off the chat. Thank the Lord for the good folks at 4800 Colorado Blvd, who processed the return the old fashioned way--by a note written on my contract that I shoved into the after hours box with the key. In short: staff at 4800 Colo Blvd in Denver rock, but Uhaul national not so much.

Instead of cancelling a customers order because their phone number is wrong try sending them an email on the attached email, instead of then blaming them for being wrong. Then when they call in and you tell them that unfortunately since their order was cancelled(wrongly in the first place) that they will no longer be able to receive their u-boxes on the day they had already hired movers for that they will have to reschedule for three days later. When you offer them a solution maybe take some responsibility for the original issue instead of referring back to the wrong phone number as your customers fault when a email, a literal 10 word email could have fixed the problem. Then when the solution is having your customer pick up a box truck with the u boxes on them, maybe, just maybe offer some form of discount for the enormous amount of inconvenience you have burdened them with. Moving is an obviously stressful activity and working with you turns it from an inconvenient activity into a situation where I would rather have had my teeth individually yanked out with pliers

Exceptional Service !!! Walked in without a reservation. Check-in took about 5 minutes. Greeted immediately upon return. Check-out took about 1 minute. Very friendly and efficient staff. I will use this location again and will highly recommend to friends.

We waited in line 45 minutes to pick up our truck. Only one of the five employees knew what he was doing so he couldn’t focus on what he was doing, he kept getting pulled into every singe other thing that was going on in the store.

The people who work at this location did not process my truck return properly. They also did not provide me with a dolly, which I reserved with my truck rental. I was charged for the dolly and for an extra rental day when I was assured by the employees at this location that everything would be taken care of. Now I have to dispute the charges in order to get a refund and wait for my money back. I am not satisfied with my experience and will not return to this location.

I had a pretty rough experience, I rented a 6x12 trailer and bought the receiving hitch and ball from you at the same time. Your people put it together for me. As I was driving going 55 down the hwy the trailer came disconnected from the truck because the hitch you put together fell apart. It was a very dangerous situation and someone could have seriously been injured or killed. The trailer ended up in the ditch. I was able to get it out and get back on the road after after a few hours. Fortunately the trailer was empty and nobody was injured.

My experience was poor. I did not like that the gentleman at the counter used his personal cell phone to take a picture of my drivers license. When I got out to the van there was a discrepancy of 9000 miles on the odometer. When I brought this to the attention of the attendant I was informed they couldn’t do anything and I needed to correct the milage on my phone instead of them doing it in the uhaul system. When I returned at 4:50 I was told I couldn’t receive a receipt because it was almost closing time. Over all a very poor experience.

This was the 3rd location we were sent to to pick up my trailer. They knew we had been in the phone with customer service and were upset due to being sent to a closed location to get my trialer prior. Noone ever apilogized for the incompetence and the employee that hooked up the trailer pretended to run through the light check before we drove off. Upon arriving home to load the trailer we found the light cable still wrapped around the bracket in the trailer hitch. At no time could it possibly have been plugged in. This is unacceptable.l and a major safety hazard especially since they knew we had to drive across denver to get this trailer so we would be in expressways going home. The trailer was not swept out and the photos i was supposed to approve were clearly not taken at the pick up location nor would the app upload my photos it just spun and spun. Worst experience ever with uhaul. Lastly the "customer service manager" that we asked to file a complaint clearly never did as I haven't heard frim anyone in 4 days. She had no training in how to de-escalate upset customers and claimed we were personally attacking her when in fact all we wanted was assurance that after driving across denver to the 3rd location of the night someone would be there to help us as we would get there right before closing and all she kept repeating was I've sent them a message. I still find that utterly unacceptable.

Customer service was horrible. The guy who waited on me was rude and rented my truck to someone else, so he rushed me to get hurry up and move because of it. Lines were long and there was a number of people working that day
