Return of truck was easy. The yard people were fast and efficient. That can't be said for getting the truck. One counter person with three customers in line Took 25 minutes to get keys- not acceptable!

Smooth as silk, but expensive to drive approximately 500 miles for 612 1day wow so think twice I had no time to research, for alternatives. The drop off was unoccupied, no response from location for 2days.

The self service app never works right. It's rude when a customer is waiting for in-person check-in but the clerk tells them to use the app. Maybe they don;t have the skills. It wasn't me but the people behind me and they ultimately needed his help.

This was the most frustration experience. I got a text at 12pm on 3/8 saying to drop the car at 3280 Midway, but when I opened the reservation upon time to return the car it still shared to drop it at 3070 Reynard and if the car was dropped at another location there would be fines. So I went to the original location that was on the reservation 3070 Reynard and the guy would not take the car. He said he message me not to drop it here of which I acknowledged but there was no formal message from Uhaul or reservation update to accompany his random text message. He sent us to 3280 Midway and it was closed as he stated in the text message previously, but since the reservation was not updated, we could not make a proper drop off. We ended up having to call customer service and just dropped the key through the slot. VERY poor experience!

Guy working the return booth is always so rude when I return the trucks. Told me there is a $6 charge per blanket to fold. Understandable. I folded all twelve of the blankets and he still charged me. I hate this location.

Streamline the process for the first time rental of equipment. Possibly there's something I missed, like getting the app...? But the first time for me and the lines around me took slightly more time than I thought was necessary. On the other side of that fence, I'm not doing the paperwork or electronic work. I can't see the screen or how many things need to be checked off. However, after the first time, I was in the system and all the rentals and returns after that were exceedingly quick and easy to the point of them just saying, 'everything's fine' when I made my last return without need to wait even as long as a minute or two.

I reserved a van due to my disability, and was quoted a specific rate with the hundred representative, who is polite and kind however when arriving at the midway location, I was told that the van had a transmission failure and was told that the price would be adjusted due to the inconvenience and issue with the van that I had reserved. Not only was I charged close to $300 but have been given the runaround in regards to the promised refunded adjustment that would be made. I have called 800 and spoke to numerous representatives with notations on my account, the giant 10 foot truck that I was forced into was inconvenient and impossible to clear when pulling in to storage garage is apartment garage and impossible to park anywhere in my complex even with my handicap placard. There were promises made that were not held up. No one has taken any ownership I am deeply hurt and burdened, that this dishonesty and lack of transparency exists I have never spent so many hours on the phone with 800 U-Haul transferring back-and-forth to various representatives that could supposedly assist me today I was supposed to get a call from the Midway location but never heard from them instead I was just build close to $300 for a ginormous van I didn't reserve in first place, got further injured due to the nature of my disability and the size of this truck, and to top it off none of the employees at this midway location have taken any ownership or care to help or do the right thing as they had promised in first place I am going to be seeking proper refunds in adjustments and will be reporting this abusive and careless wrongdoing by the midway location. I have never seen such poor customer service and such careless individuals there's so much more to say, but I'll keep it short , hopefully they can make this right and refund me them my money before I report the kind of careless acts that caused me distress and a ginormous bill for no reason

Don't run the mobile app instructions on speaker on a loop. Maybe a place where someone can push a button if they want the instructions. It's not really necessary at Midway when the office is open.

Was charged $9 for gas after only driving the truck 15 miles. Obviously what the gas amount claimed could not have been accurate. A total ripoff!!!

Vehicle was barley at 1/4 tank when picked up. Vehicle was not very clean. Reciept was never emailed to me as promised so now I have to follow up with them to get my actual reciept. However, customer service rep was friendly.

Made the reservation several weeks ago at a local location. The week of the move I received several notifications for 3 different pick-up locations, each farther away from my residence. This caused hardship that led to change to pick up the truck the night before to accommodate. At the pick-up location they cancelled the requested insurance that was selected from the online reservation. This caused more issues and the truck had to be sent back to a Uhaul location to resolve, as directed by customer service but at the nearest location they did not want to help until a district manager intervened.

People were nice but the truck was pretty old and not well maintained (eg clunk noise on the steering wheel, mirror on right side would not go up making very difficult to change lanes). Will rent from Home Depot next time.

While over the phone I asked if there was a storage room as a big as the 10 ft truck and was told yes. To my surprise when opening the storage it was not as big. Luckily I was able to put most of my items in with great difficulty.

I came months ago with a small balance due. The manager, the dreaded man with a horrible attitude wouldnt let me pay in full and cut my own lock. I could not afford the locksmith at the time and since the bill doubled. Now i was left with a $945 bill which i could not pay, had to settle and only by the support of Rick was able to keep my moms belongings. I have paid over $5500 in bills to this uhaul and was treated so poorly im left with a negative impression about this facility and can never use uhaul again. I was told i could remove the items by 10pm. The same dreaded man came back ,with a dog , smelling like marajuana telling me i had to be out by 8:30 or "as soon as he felt like it". The same man doubled my bill and completely ruined my understanding of customer support. If anyone pays for a unit for 5 years, balance ready in hand, i think they deserve the support to fix the situation right then. This man was horrible and ended up costing uhaul an immediate payment and closing and instead created a long settlement. Nobody benefited from his horrible customer service skills and he should be fired immediately. How many customers has he done this to? I will be following up on this review personally as i have no intention to leave any past dues unpaid. I just want to make sure nobody else has to ever deal with the situation i had. Im so sorry for who ever reads this but i hope it gets back to the dreaded man at the point loma uhaul. He is a disgrace to the local community has no belonging in any managerial role.

The teams at both pick band drop off were beyond excellent. Friendly, kind. The Santa Clarita location was clean. The person signing up up was so great. Her crew not so much. Seems she was doing everything. I would hire her, but not the crew...stand around do least amount of work impression. The San diego drop off Point Loma crew were so great, I mean excellent! Greeted with smile, beyond helpful. I would hire them, they were that good...in other words....keep them! Except for app check in, UHaul on this trip exceeded expectations.

The staff at your midway location were amazing. I was already having a ruff day when I went to rent the uhaul. The staff there were so incredible that they totally turned my mood around. The went above and beyond to accommodate me. They interacted well together and provided some of the best customer service I've r er received in a very long time. Uhaul is lucky to have those two individuals working for there company. I even end ed d up renting a storage at that location because of your staff there.thank you so much. Overall a really great experience. Robin and Jeremy did everything to make sure I was taken care off and found a great spot for my moving out for the trailer. Dalton was the one really going above by helping position the trailer just right and making sure I didn't have to cross the incoming truck lane. I would recommend others the facility and going with u-haul as their storage and moving supplies solution.

Storage Areas are very clear, good lighting. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue was having to wait in line at the front rental desk. There was one gentlemen working the front desk.
