The young lady that helped us was wonderful. You are lucky to have her. You really are. The van we received had such dirty windows and mirrors that the first thing I did was put gas in it and wash the windows and mirrors. We were the only people on the lot and I don't think the people outside the office cared. They certainly weren't trying to win over the customer. I had the feeling they were getting even with me for the parking space they had me park in. I did comment to them that I was not comfortable putting my car there and that there were nice spaces I could leave it in but even though there were at least 6 completely open spaces they were for storage customer only. We were the only customer on the lot. They just looked at each other and did not respond. So I got a van whose windows and mirrors made it unsafe or at least uncomfortable to drive. After I could see out and behind me it was a great van.

Awesome experience everyone and everything was great....Anthony did a great job made it very easy. My suggestion is to close the one on Hotel Circle.. With no customer parking at that location it’s hard to make it convenient for your customers.

Hello I just need my bill to be accurate I rented a truck for about 6 hours I brought it back about 3:15 with the same amount of gas. They email me a copy of my bill and it was not accurate according to the bill I use it for 2 full days and I didn’t refill the gas and this is not true so I went to the place I rented and talk to them, I did the first thing one I explain and the guy got on the computer he say to me “you rented it for 2 days” I say “ no I returner around 3:15 the same day” then he proceed to tell me “is in the computer and the computer don’t lye” so I answer “well I’m telling you I return it the same day by 3:15 and I don’t lye, the computer don’t say anything is only going to let you see what you put in and the information was wrong” so somebody else suggested to check the video, they call somebody else and they figure out yes I was telling the truth that yes I did returns it the same day I was on the video but they still never adjusted the days or the price I never even talk to them about the gas so anyway I do t know what happens but I just don’t think I have to pay for somebody else’s mistakes, is not really about the amount of money I feel I been overcharge because is only a few dollars but I get call a lier and be dismiss as “what ever” the customer service need some fine running they need to understand that mistakes happens before accusing, so Please let me know what is the solution to this problem because I will not stand for this I waited for somebody to react and no even that they now know I only rented for a few hour they still give me the same receipt. Not sure why I filled out the rental information if I had to do it again when I went to pick the unit up? 30+ minutes to get the van .. do I get a credit for this time? Van not ready and again needed to wait. Why reserve online?

I downloaded the app so that made things go quicker and I was able to avoid the line in the office/store. Being approved for the app account however wasn't as smooth - it took a few tries for the operator on the other end to connect to the alternate number.

Absolutely terrible condition. There was urine on the seats and it seemed to be lived in at some point. Not acceptable.

The truck we reserved was not available and we had to wait 1 hour even though we registered online ahead of time. The alternative truck was adequate but one headlight was out and it needed an oil change as the service indicator read 0 miles to next service.

This location is always amazing always friendly always prompt and they always hustle to get me in and out... whatever the manager is doing at this location he needs to be commended because I’ve been renting from you guys for 20 years and I’m not seeing a manager hustle or a staff hustle like this...

I had a difficult time choosing between below average or average for this location. We waited in a really really long line for probably close to an hour before the one attendant would help us and show us to the vehicle. He was super helpful though and very nice. BUT when confirming my reservation, he said that I was being offered a lower rate if I were to drop off the truck in San Jose instead of Soquel. I said yes, I'd like to do that and he said to call the 1-800 number (he wrote it on my contract) to find out the exact new drop off address and deducted $65 from my total charge. I called the 1-800 number to a slurry of confused people. Three or four customer service agents made me repeat the story, all very confused. Then one person decided to check with scheduling and then got back on the phone to tell me that it would be incredibly inconvenient and more expensive for me to take the truck back to San Diego. I repeated AGAIN that I was talking about Soquel and San Jose for drop off locations, neither of which were anywhere near San Diego. Again, she failed to understand and insisted I drop the truck off in Soquel. I asked if doing so would charge me the $65 I had saved by agreeing with the other attendant to amend my drop off location to be San Jose instead of Soquel. Again, she had no competent answer to my question and didn't understand, still insisting that I should just go to Soquel. So, that's what I did. I dropped the truck off in Soquel and U-Haul gave me a $65 discount for nothing because no customer service attendant could offer me any information about the program which had offered me a discount for dropping off at a different location. In the end, it worked out alright for me, as a customer, because I saved money and got to keep my original drop off location. But I just thought it important to let U-Haul know because, over a long period of time and lots of customers, it's possible that the company is losing money in a way that could be easily avoided.

Greeting on return was a bit weak . . wasn’t sure whether to stay with the truck or go inside. Not a big deal at all, just was looking for a sign with instructions.

Carlos was great! There was a long line that did not seem to be moving inside the shop. There is, apparently, a problem with your website. I made a reservation under MY name. I own the business, so need the reservation under my name, but I drive a MINI. There is no way that I could drive a 26 foot truck. I put my husband as the driver and my reservation disappeared! The reservation was then listed under my husband’s name. So, then to drop off the truck, we could not use the online return as we’d planned. After almost an hour wait in line, my husband got fed up. He went outside and met Carlos, who was more than happy to help us out. We were then able to check out, but I still do not have a receipt in my name.

Poor customer service, computers that don't work, lack of communication. The experience renting and returning were both way longer than they needed to be. Will definitely reconsider using this uhaul again

I ordered a 17 footer at the Sherman location. Amelia called me and informed me they didn't have it but the Midway location only had a 20 footer and they would give me a free upgrade. When my husband picked up the rental, he came home with a 15 footer instead. There was no explanation of this. And we were charged the same.
