I was 78.00 on hold for 20 miles we never went over 20 only went 17 miles the Milage we went never got a refund for the 3 miles we prepaid for but instead was charged more !

I had a reservation for a truck but picked it up 3 late of my scheduled time. When I got there later my truck had been given away. I would have liked to be called or told that my reservation was going to be canceled i Or given the opportunity to pick it up. No one had an explanation. I ended up driving to Mt. Juliet to get a truck. Please help fix this.

I've used Uhaul several times over the year's including twice in the past month. The first time was awesome but last Saturday (10/3/20) some asshole left a voice mail threatening “legal action” because I was a few hours late. I'll NEVER use Uhaul again. Never mind the empty natural lite can left behind the seat from a previous customer. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.

I paid my UBox rental fee one week ago and I canceled my UBox yesterday. I was told that U-Haul does not prorate the remaining days. So I basically paid $74 for an additional month but I only used for a week. It would've been great to get reimbursed for 3 weeks. It is pennies compared to the $1000 I paid to ship my box over 900 miles

The pickup experience was below average. I had called the location on a Friday afternoon to confirm a pickup on Saturday between 2-3pm. At 3pm when my mover arrived, the Uboxes were not ready. It took the location an hour and a half to get the first trailer ready to go. I had asked for the uboxes to be on a 2 box trailer, but they were on single trailers. Because I was moving with another person, we had 3 total Uboxes. The store location closed at 5pm and we were not able to get access to the third Ubox because it took the first one so long to get put on the trailer. We called the location during the move and they said they would leave the third Ubox out to get picked up after hours, and when our mover arrived, the gate was closed and we could not access the third ubox even after they had stated we'd still be able to pick it up. Now five days later, this still has not been made right by Uhaul, and none of this would have been an issue had the Uboxes been ready to go as I had confirmed on Friday. I was also charged for a month of storage even after the ubox was unloaded and returned to Uhaul. I had to call Uhaul again to get this charge removed.

Took almost an hour to pick up my rental. Half of the people weren't wearing masks. Additionally, the moving company I booked through uhaul was unreachable via the provided phone number, and the online support was extremely unhelpful. I had to find another moving company last minute.

If you could give a more specific window time for box pick-up, that would be awesome. For example, we knew our box could be picked up anytime between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Even to know it could be picked up between 8-12, or 1-4 would be awesome.

No one available to check in the vehicle even though the location is "Open". Worst U-Haul experience I've ever had. Even with equipment breakdowns before, this turn in experience completely terrible. Negative stars if possible.

I am sure it was an accident however you might be more careful when leaving a truck for after or before hours pick up and make sure the battery is not dead. My start for the day was delayed almost 2 hours because the truck I was left had a dead battery and I had to wait for office to open.

The truck wasn't cleaned out and the tank was empty. We found an old lease and lots of trash in the vehicle and the passenger seat belt was wrapped around the back of the seat and locked into place rendering it unusable. The employees at the location offered no help and only sent me to the online portal to submit a claim. I spent over two hours getting connected to different people on the phone trying to sort out the situation and to be compensated for gas I was told would already be in the truck. It made an already stressful moving experience much worse.

I rented truck with an estimated price of less than 120.00 now I am being told it's over 300.00 , I will be in to figure this out because I want to know why I was quoted one price but being billed 3 times the amount.if this is the way this business is run I will make no recommendations ever.

I really want to commend everyone at this location. Every young man I came in contact with was professional from start to finish. When I drove by one day to look at the trucks and get pricing I asked the young man if he made comission he was so enthusiastic and professional. Then pick up and drop off again the men were great. I expect a courtesy call when I rent from one location and get sent to a pick up location much farther away. I was charged a whole extra day due to the distance from our storage unit. This would have been vital information and I would have cancelled my reservation before pick up. The Madison area is not a location for women to rent trailers and return them late at night. YOU NEED TO GIVE A COURTESY CALL when the location is different than where the client rented from.

I went inside for counter check-in to get my truck at 8:10. It was after 9 by the time I got to the counter. Stood in line ... wearing a mask... a little warm in there... no chairs available to sit in while waiting. I felt a little nauseous by the time I got done. Not a great experience for a 56 year old... much less for anyone older then myself checking in. Looked like there was just 2 employees there doing the best they could. A mobile phone check in might have been a better option... but some people prefer getting things set up in person. I would suggest another employee or 2 for morning check ins.... and provide some chairs for people waiting in line. Truck was fine... dropping it back off was quick and easy.

They cancelled my reservation when I was one hour late for pickup. Ended up costing me more because they could not see my reservation price. I was also told I would be charged at the return of the truck and I was charged the second day. Then there was a second charge because my reservation for longer then what the office set it up as so there was extra charges.

I can't say enough about Vans Hardware and the folks that work there. Even though we realized pretty quick that the mileage was wrong, the owner went above and beyond to find out why this happened and charged us for only what we actually used. Great experience with the drop off!

Employees were not knowledgeable as to other locations that could fulfill my needs. I came in requesting to purchase a furniture dooly advertised online for 19.95. Was told they did not sell this item but could rent it for 28.00. Had I known I could purchase the equipment from U-Haul down the street, I would have done so.

I parked the equipment where the designated drop off was and the sign instruction said to wait for personnel for assistance which I did but noone came out I waited for at least 30 min then finally went inside to return the key which took another 15 to 20 min to resolve.

Have enough employees so people do not have to wait 1520 minutes to get service. Also the U-Haul had a check engine light Also the U-Haul had a check engine light on. Also I scheduled a pick up at a location close to my residence and they had me drive 12 miles One Direction for the U-Haul I needed. Because of that I lost two hours of my day and also 24 miles additional traveling to and from because of this occurrence
