What a relief it was to speak to someone that knew what they were talking about ! He was extremely helpful in informing me exactly what I needed and where I could get it to have my rental happen. He answered any anf all my questions, made me feel at ease. Would and did recommend to all family and friends
AMY FAll good - pickup went fast and so did drop-off. Trailer was as expected.
TROY FThe truck that I rented was so covered in bug splatter that I could not see out the windshield, causing a delay as I had to spend 20 mins trying to clean it before use. The U-Haul app stated that equipment would be inside of the rental truck but it was not and I had to go inside to get the items for another delay as I waited in line for the only attendant in the facility to help the five people waiting.
Franklin BNot an issue with Golden Eagle but U-Haul company redirected our drop off location which made us go over our mileage allotment by 20 miles. This cost us an additional $20 ($1/mile). Not our doing!!!!
HENRY DFill the gas tanks. Two rentals here and each time I was robbed a full tank of gas.

ERIC MEverything was excellent as far as the van we rented, because it was brand new and drove beautifully! So if I had to say any improvements I would say the two giant potholes driving into your place should be repaired but otherwise top notch service and everything!
WILLIAM SBest trailer rental yet. The employee was nice, knowledgeable and fast. He hitched and unhitched the trailer in less time than I could think about it. Smooth.

MICHAEL DEverything was great! Wayne was super friendly and helpful! Out of staff's control, but company may want to reconsider the parking lot as entrance/exit is very narrow and congested.

Todd PWe had an extended wait while picking up the trailer due to the location being horribly under staffed. There was one person on duty, on a Saturday morning, while there were at least 5 parties there all at the same time to pick up a rental. The attendant did a great, professional job, but he needed more help!

MICHAEL SAsked if I could have the option of making the trailer a 1 way rental. Was told they updated my contract. Decided to leave the rental in Phoenix. Called customer support and they told me it would cost $2700 (vs my 2 way rental of $250). They shared Rochester cannot update contracts and it was my fault for signing. "In the future you should always take the more expensive contract and then ask for a refund". How would a customer know that when specifically requested the option and told it was done. A very frustrating experience with the uhaul enterprise customer support. More frustrating than the answer was the horrible attitude displayed by the customer support representative and her manager.

DAVID WWhen I went to empty out my storage unit, I had mouse droppings and pretzels (not from me) all over my stuff. I showed the worker there and he said there should have been a mouse trap in my unit but there clearly wasn't. I haven't unpacked my stuff yet to see if there is further damage but now I get to spend several more hours cleaning all my property of mice contamination. Not happy about that. Plus the lady I spoke to when ordering the unit explained a completely different unit style and location. She said ground floor and I was not on ground floor, she said the unit had a loft and it did not. Honestly I'm not even sure she knew what she was talking about. Also The latch needs to be oiled. It's almost finger breaking to unlatch the unit door.
TIFFANY P | Expérience généraleWhen I returned the Uhaul and tried to enter photos, the app got stuck and I had to "X" out of it. It wouldn't let me start another return after that so I don't know if my photos got uploaded or if my Uhaul return was credited. A man at the drop site said he'd "vouch" for me. I've still got the photos and made the drop five hours before the drop time, so it should be good.

PATRICK TThe manager, I believe, his name is Gary moved through the process like a hot knife through butter. The location was hot with at least 8 vehicles coming in and one going out (which needed a car trailer). He cleared the area in shear minutes.

BLAKE RMy truck did not have a ramp attached that you could pull out. I did order a relatively small moving truck (10'), but we needed it and it was not there. Other than that, U-Haul is a great company!

BLAKE RMake sure gas tank is full for next renter. I traveled 27 highway miles total with no idling and when I filled up the truck before returning I put in 5,5 gallons meaning I got 4,9 MPG which I highly doubt. Disappointed with having to pay for that many more gallons for my uhaul rental truck.

JILL LThe check the vehicle before you go text would not show up on my phone. Wasted 40 minutes waiting to try to get it to work . Cell phones don't always work. Dead spots and such. Train staff to not have customer waiting that long before suggesting I take pictures including mileage then go. Unacceptable experience for me to wait on your text when it won't always work.
JAMES WI reserved a car transporter for pickup in Winona, MN. The day before my pickup I was told I had to drive to Rochester (hour away) to pick up this trailer as there was not a trailer at the location where I reserved it. I asked for a manager at scheduling to call me back about a reduced rental fee to make up for my time/gas to get this trailer and they never called me back. Time to start looking for another option for trailer rental. This is probably the 15th time I've rented a car transporter and I'm incredibly disappointed. The actual equipment I rented was not well maintained, the ratchet strap mechanism was in need of repair and made it very difficult to properly secure the car.
ANDREW GTerrible communication. Didn't communicate issues with reservations. Ended up on the phone with customer support 3 times. Drop off location also didn't have any information about the drop off, didn't call us to confirm location was correct. Miles we're reduced and had to be corrected. Absolutely terrible. Check engine light on in the truck.

KEVIN RTruck we rented had an engine issue while we were in route. U-haul ,had people come to our hotel and make necessary repairs. This was a great service. Drop off location was disorganized, very congested with vechicles all over the place. Attendent told us to just leave the keys in the van & leave. Did not check our return paper work. This was our 1st experience renting a truck & trailor. Not being able to talk to someone to get you through the process was a problem. All the phone calls & e-mails & texts are a hassle. Going through this process through a website , not great. Could use more of a personel touch.

KENNETH SWhen I stopped to puck up my trailer I had to wait over 10 minutes. There were other people waiting and nobody at the counter. After which I was informed I needed to wait as there was maintenance that needed to be done on the trailer. I was frustrated. If Uhaul knew maintenance needed to be done, and the system showed it did, it should have been done prior to my pick up Time.
WILLOW SThe phone operators should not always say yes when in fact they dont have the item needed. And be more informative. Like you have until end of business day to return item. No you have until that time you picked up to return it or you are charged another day. We thought we had til 7pm sunday. Well not if we didnt wanma be charged. We had to be returned by 1230pm

John PSuper friendly staff and very accommodating. Showed us many options on storage units to use, even from other locations. Had a sliding door in front of our unit that they allowed us to back up to and open to have easy access to the unit. Definitely recommend.

Albert V | Déménagement en ligneThe facility was well maintained and the staff are great, but there were three reason I gave below average score; 1. Not having 24 hr access or at least til 9pm. 2. The door closest to my unit that was supposed to be unlocked during business hours never was. I'm a disabled veteran with mobility issues and had to walked further because the door was never unlocked. 3. My storage fee went up twice. It was only a small amount each time but the first time was after only a few months into moving in.
