Truck had 159 000 miles The service engine light came on hallway in between Dublin and Milledgeville very late at night but I was unable to call because the 12 volt plug in to recharge the phone didn't work either.

Have the mechanics check the truck before handing them back out to people especially if they were just used. Truck had multiple DOT infractions with brakes and steering. Steering wheel and shaft would shake when driven above 55 and the brakes barely worked. We were lucky we only were driving it a mile down the road otherwise we most likely would not be here. Very unacceptable and this is a reason as to why we took so long with the truck. We would rather get it there safely than rush and maybe wreck the thing because the truck was about to fall apart. Please don't hesitate to call and if I get charged for the fees I will certainly not hesitate to call y'all and DOT. Have a nice day.

The wait time was very slow. On the day I rented, several pieces of equipment were inoperable causing the rental process to take longer than normal. Also, the pickup that I reserved was not available when I arrived. I was thankful that they were able to substitute a cargo van. Overall, the team was friendly and helpful.

The truck that reserved was not available. I made sure I was 20 minutes early, But when I was checking in via the mobile app, I saw the truck number I reserved driving off. I needed a 17 foot truck and had to settle with the 15 foot truck. And being that my reservation was given to someone else, I wasn't able to get all my stuff moved. Also, the front bumper was about to fall off.

Rental was "guaranteed" at 10am. I arrived at 9:30 to be on-time, only 2 people working at 4 computers. Didn't get truck till 10:30, it never went through inspection or cleaning. Truck was in line to be returned, they just unhooked trailer from previous rental and gave me the key. Waited for mats to be loaded, got single sheet on paper and left. Lost half hour of loading help I scheduled through uhaul because of delay. Very unprofessional!!

We arrived early for our pick up appointment, then stood in line for over an hour. Our pick up time was 11:30, we did not leave the premises until 12:30. The truck we received was on 1/8 of a tank when we got it, the back right tire was low, and the window would roll up. The truck served the purposes we needed it for, however it was not up to the standard expected when renting from a nationwide servicer. This location needs to work on customer service/satisfaction and working to provide an overall excellent experience.

First off, the employees are always nice, however, Equipment was clean but not maintained, my van needed tires to be balanced so bad, it shakes so violently that it makes you nauseous. The brakes squeak every time you come to a stop, the indicator plates are telling you to replace the brakes. The tires being off balance is probably causing other items to be loose, the ride is so miserable, I wanted to drop it off at another location and just drive anything else home. when I came in to pick up the vehicle, the person had not brought it in but they decide to give me one that was rented for later in the day which I greatly appreciated. My van also smelled like a pot factory, I think the last renter just rented it so they could have somewhere to smoke pot in... you should enforce the no smoking of any substance rule on renters...Like I said in the beginning of the review, Everybody I interacted with, was very nice, equipment just needs to be taken care of.

Van had a strong order of urine and possibly pot. I had moving help arriving at my house so I did not have time to turn around and exchange. I made one trip but had planned to make several more but had to turn in because it made me nauseous. Return staff should have issued a discount. I have had great service at this location previously was very surprised they would rent a truck in this condition.

I was not made aware that the storage unit was on the second floor until I arrived with the belongings that were being placed in storage. I probably would have looked to another facility if I had known before hand. Carrying heavy boxes and furniture upstairs was a bit much for a septagenarian.

I came in on July 5th and told the staff I was closing my storage rental. I gave a move out date of July 13, 2022. I was told I would not be charged for the entire month of July 2022. I was told Ill be charged for the 13th only, just 1 day pass my payment due date. I was charged for the entire month of July 2022. The staff also closed my account on July 14, 2022 instead of July 13, 2022, the day I left the storage.

I had no problems at all everything was kept where I put it there were no roaches no rats no critters crawling around my stuff was just like I put it in there I didn't bring home anything that I didn't put in there I'm grateful for that but no the people are great friendly you got a question to answer you immediately very helpful yes I would use them again if I needed storage again.

Things had been fine, or so we thought, until we returned to clean out our unit #221 on 10/11/21. We opened the door and discovered water damage in the unit and a large box of personal clothing was damaged from laying in the water for who knows how long. I took pictures of the unit and there was white duct tape over this area, so that tells me there most likely had been water leaking previously, yet U-Haul rents the unit again w/o repairing the leak issue (taping it is like only putting a bandaid on it). We did not purchase insurance on this unit, didn't believe we needed to, if you take proper care of your facility. Obviously you don't and I expect to be properly compensated for the cleaning of the clothes with hopes of getting the musty/moldy smell out. I expect to be notified from U-Haul within the next couple days- if not, I will be following up myself.

I need someone from corporate to contact me ASAP. My unit was auctioned off and I was given the incorrect date. My brother who passed away three years ago had all of his items there and it was auctioned off at $163.00. I am really heart broken and have not been showed any form of sympathy. Nor have I been contacted by the General Manager Chris Spears. Lakia has been an angel in trying to assist me but I still do not understand why I was given the incorrect date for such a time sensitive matter.

Don't expect for one person to give you their undivided attention. Expect them to ask the same questions repeatedly after giving them the same answers. It's like you're talking to a brick wall. Their attention spans are all over the place. Pay attention to the customer in front of you.

I have pictures of the unit ceiling falling in and mold everywhere from the hot and cold weather causing moisture in a closed in unit. The weeds from outside began growing on the inside through the back of the storage unit. I had rat feces everywhere. I tried to donate much as I could of furniture items to Goodwill. I refused to take any of it into my brand new home. Everything else was packed and tossed in the trash. I can't believe I was paying for almost 4 years to throw everything away. It was horrible. The Uhaul truck was the only thing that was great. It didn't breakdown this time on me. I wish I could submit these pictures to show other customers. I paid on the 30th of every month which included late fees since my unit was due on the 12th of every month. I paid for Uhaul to deliver horrible services every month to me. I recommend Uhaul to upgrade the whole structure and treat customers items as they would treat their own.

I was offered a month storage for free with my one way truck rental. I accepted the offer, completed the online move in process at which point I was informed everything was all set to move in. I even called the facility to ensure that if I were not available to move into the unit that my representative could do so if I had completed the online process. I work as a front line healthcare provider and had to work so asked my wife to move the contents into the unit. I gave her all the details to do so, including a screen shot of my confirmation. At the facility, the buildings were very poorly marked and when she asked the employee where the unit was, she was informed that the employee could not give her any information because the unit was not in her name. When my wife finally located the unit, with no help from staff, the codes we were given for access did not work. As I was trying to care for my patients, I was also having to try to handle this chaos over the phone with my wife. Finally, my wife forced to go back to the employee and demand assistance to access the unit. Ultimately, locating and accessing the unit took twice as long as actually moving in the contents. As an extra bonus, to complete the online move in process to the unit, I had to pay 99,95 even though it was supposed to be free for month. I called the location 3/25/2021 to request a refund of the 99.95. The automated system informed me it would be a 20 minute wait for a representative. After nearly 39 minutes someone came on the line. I explained the pricing issue and was told that someone from that location would call me that day. Needless to say, it is 3/29/2021 and I have still not received a call. I am currently waiting on the phone (23 minutes so far) to try to get this resolved. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated with the entire process and would appreciate contact from someone who can help me. You guys make a point to mention on the automated phone system that calls are recorded to help keep your promises made to your customers. I would like to see proof of that.

Uhaul trailer stolen, Uhaul no communication, continued to charge daily rate even though reported stolen and I had trailer insurance. To date, had to cancel card, they took over $200 unauthorized and refused to discuss or return telephone calls.

I had a person to quote Catherine storage rate to as first month free and 100 dollars a month. When I found out later it was not quoted correctly. The manager adjusted the late charge and the first months rent. She could not change the rate but I appreciated her trying.

Bedbugs on uhaul truck and unit that got into my brand new furniture and our home on base causing us to throw out all our furniture . Staff had I don't care attitude and told my husband they didn't have bedbugs. I am in the military and I trusted Putting my stuff in a storage and I trusted using you guys tricks to transfer my stuff without any issues. Very disappointed and have gotten military Lawyers involved. The way I and my husband were treated were very rude. I will make sure no other military personnel goes to this uhaul 0

The storage unit floor was wet. Difficulties get the purchased lock on. Spoke to someone about getting the holes on the door aligned. Did not get the reserved truck, but accepted the one available.

Unprofessional manager provoked an argument and ultimately called the police after she made a threat to me, the customer. After renting a truck in another state, traveling for 2 days, and arriving expecting to check in with 0 issues this was the last thing that need to happen. U-Haul's system messed up my storage reservation and instead of leading with an explanation, she lead with attitude that was met with attitude. Aside from that, the other staff was super professional, especially Travis, who was actually able to articulate professionally all details about my unit check in process..

Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. My storage unit was in location subject to water run off from rain and muddy in front when it rained. Unit also leaked during rain and some of my items received minor moisture damage.

Staff was Friendly but upon moving things out of unit, I talked to them twice at front desk to check out and inform them everything was out of unit and we no long needed it. I was told "you're good to go" - they didn't get on computer and even look at my account to close out. The next week, I had a bill for the next month because they didn't close me out! I spent half hr with customer service online having them do it
