Every truck should have a full tank to make it easier to return the vehicle with the right amount of fuel. For ex: my truck had 1/8 of a tank. It was hard to refuel to 1/8 of a tank. The fuel gauge in the truck doesn't have actual numbers.

The service technician was very nice. He did a good job, explaining everything to me. However, the process of dropping off your car and not having any estimated time or communication was a problem. You should plan to leave your car there most of the day and there's nowhere to sit. U-Haul should really think about a centralized installation facility where there's a better customer experience.

You really can't improve the customer service at this store. It was on point. I would have loved to have a truck that was less beaten down, but that is no fault of the employees. Every question was asked and answered with cordial patience, recommendations were informed but not forced or maliciously added on or sold. SUPER friendly staff (and at the time other customers) Just based on the people working here... this should really be a flagship store. It is both disheartening and inspiring to see a team busting their butts with limited space, a building that was seemingly built in the middle of the last century, and equipment that somehow manifested an angsty teenager's attitude for hard work. This is a fantastic team, and they get it done.

When I picked up my equipment in the morning the staff was amazing. When I dropped off my truck, there was a lady there that was so rude, yelled, and said, "I don't get paid enough to deal with this." She was very unprofessional and will definitely not use this location again.

The U-haul employees at the main (800) number don't seem to be on the same page as the employees at the actual store - it causes unnecessary conflict between the customers and the U-Haul employees

I wanted to rent the motorcycle trailer to move my bike before I had to be at work. Would have had time to do so but for the fact I got to the location 10 minutes before my reserved time, but did not get out of the location until 45 minutes AFTER my reservation time. Had I returned the trailer on time I would have been late for work, instead I had to wait until the next day and had to pay for it another day. Doubled my cost. Won't deal with this location again.

Not for this location, but this was the third time I had made this reservation because the first two times the reservation department screwed up the reservation and made changes to my reservation without notifying me of the morning of the pick up location was different and the truck was different!!!!! It should not take three tries to get a damn reservation for a truck, correct!!!!!

TraVon helped make this experience with Uhaul exceptional! I had reserved a 15 ft truck to move my daughter's apartment from Savannah to Atlanta. Once we started the process of packing up I realized quickly that the truck was to small. I called back to Uhaul and spoke with TraVon…. he was able to get us a 20 ft truck and so we were able to exchanged the truck. What could have been a very complicated situation he made easy! Plus he did it all with a smile!

I was not able to rent a storage from this facility due to the lack of storage size. The parking lot was pretty dark when I dropped the rental truck off. As far as the storage facility lighting, I did not pay attention.

I was not made aware that the storage unit was on the second floor until I arrived with the belongings that were being placed in storage. I probably would have looked to another facility if I had known before hand. Carrying heavy boxes and furniture upstairs was a bit much for a septagenarian.

I came in on July 5th and told the staff I was closing my storage rental. I gave a move out date of July 13, 2022. I was told I would not be charged for the entire month of July 2022. I was told Ill be charged for the 13th only, just 1 day pass my payment due date. I was charged for the entire month of July 2022. The staff also closed my account on July 14, 2022 instead of July 13, 2022, the day I left the storage.

I had no problems at all everything was kept where I put it there were no roaches no rats no critters crawling around my stuff was just like I put it in there I didn't bring home anything that I didn't put in there I'm grateful for that but no the people are great friendly you got a question to answer you immediately very helpful yes I would use them again if I needed storage again.

Things had been fine, or so we thought, until we returned to clean out our unit #221 on 10/11/21. We opened the door and discovered water damage in the unit and a large box of personal clothing was damaged from laying in the water for who knows how long. I took pictures of the unit and there was white duct tape over this area, so that tells me there most likely had been water leaking previously, yet U-Haul rents the unit again w/o repairing the leak issue (taping it is like only putting a bandaid on it). We did not purchase insurance on this unit, didn't believe we needed to, if you take proper care of your facility. Obviously you don't and I expect to be properly compensated for the cleaning of the clothes with hopes of getting the musty/moldy smell out. I expect to be notified from U-Haul within the next couple days- if not, I will be following up myself.

I need someone from corporate to contact me ASAP. My unit was auctioned off and I was given the incorrect date. My brother who passed away three years ago had all of his items there and it was auctioned off at $163.00. I am really heart broken and have not been showed any form of sympathy. Nor have I been contacted by the General Manager Chris Spears. Lakia has been an angel in trying to assist me but I still do not understand why I was given the incorrect date for such a time sensitive matter.

The store hours could have been a little better since I was coming from out of town. Always ensure that the time on the website and the store are the same so that will help with a lot of confusion.

The manager of the facility was excellent. She was able to multi-task while seeing to every's customer's needs by herself. I was very impressed by her professionalism and courteously in dealing with customers. Exceptional Abilities.

Don't expect for one person to give you their undivided attention. Expect them to ask the same questions repeatedly after giving them the same answers. It's like you're talking to a brick wall. Their attention spans are all over the place. Pay attention to the customer in front of you.

I have pictures of the unit ceiling falling in and mold everywhere from the hot and cold weather causing moisture in a closed in unit. The weeds from outside began growing on the inside through the back of the storage unit. I had rat feces everywhere. I tried to donate much as I could of furniture items to Goodwill. I refused to take any of it into my brand new home. Everything else was packed and tossed in the trash. I can't believe I was paying for almost 4 years to throw everything away. It was horrible. The Uhaul truck was the only thing that was great. It didn't breakdown this time on me. I wish I could submit these pictures to show other customers. I paid on the 30th of every month which included late fees since my unit was due on the 12th of every month. I paid for Uhaul to deliver horrible services every month to me. I recommend Uhaul to upgrade the whole structure and treat customers items as they would treat their own.

I was offered a month storage for free with my one way truck rental. I accepted the offer, completed the online move in process at which point I was informed everything was all set to move in. I even called the facility to ensure that if I were not available to move into the unit that my representative could do so if I had completed the online process. I work as a front line healthcare provider and had to work so asked my wife to move the contents into the unit. I gave her all the details to do so, including a screen shot of my confirmation. At the facility, the buildings were very poorly marked and when she asked the employee where the unit was, she was informed that the employee could not give her any information because the unit was not in her name. When my wife finally located the unit, with no help from staff, the codes we were given for access did not work. As I was trying to care for my patients, I was also having to try to handle this chaos over the phone with my wife. Finally, my wife forced to go back to the employee and demand assistance to access the unit. Ultimately, locating and accessing the unit took twice as long as actually moving in the contents. As an extra bonus, to complete the online move in process to the unit, I had to pay 99,95 even though it was supposed to be free for month. I called the location 3/25/2021 to request a refund of the 99.95. The automated system informed me it would be a 20 minute wait for a representative. After nearly 39 minutes someone came on the line. I explained the pricing issue and was told that someone from that location would call me that day. Needless to say, it is 3/29/2021 and I have still not received a call. I am currently waiting on the phone (23 minutes so far) to try to get this resolved. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated with the entire process and would appreciate contact from someone who can help me. You guys make a point to mention on the automated phone system that calls are recorded to help keep your promises made to your customers. I would like to see proof of that.

Uhaul trailer stolen, Uhaul no communication, continued to charge daily rate even though reported stolen and I had trailer insurance. To date, had to cancel card, they took over $200 unauthorized and refused to discuss or return telephone calls.

I had a person to quote Catherine storage rate to as first month free and 100 dollars a month. When I found out later it was not quoted correctly. The manager adjusted the late charge and the first months rent. She could not change the rate but I appreciated her trying.

Bedbugs on uhaul truck and unit that got into my brand new furniture and our home on base causing us to throw out all our furniture . Staff had I don't care attitude and told my husband they didn't have bedbugs. I am in the military and I trusted Putting my stuff in a storage and I trusted using you guys tricks to transfer my stuff without any issues. Very disappointed and have gotten military Lawyers involved. The way I and my husband were treated were very rude. I will make sure no other military personnel goes to this uhaul 0

Storage unit was a great size and very accurate to the description. When I opened the door to the unit, it didn't seem like it was as hot in there as I thought it would be being mid-August in Savannah.
