Eric ,manager was really accommodating due to snow storm and very professional. (assuring my truck was clean)The female that checked us in, Young guy that worked with us to get side mirrors adjusted sub zero conditions, and Tyler at drop off were very kind, professional and the best u haul experience I have had .. 4 th time in 18 months One , actually thanked me for my business !!!! I was there for over a half hour for someone to tell me to just drop the trailer where I was. The parking lot was a mess and everything was scattered all over the place. The only 2 younger guys working were running their asses off. Kudos to them. The rest was a joke. Will avoid that place at all costs.

The location (i don't think) is at fault, but this was one of the worst experiences ever. First, i attempted to book for a 1 pm pickup, which was changed to a 4 pm and and then a 5 pm without ever confirming that was okay with me. I was sent to a different pickup location and i was not notified of that, either. The people at this location were friendly, but the online service is straight garbage.

Eric and company at this location went above and well beyond the call of duty for me last night. After a very long several days of trying to move from SD to AZ. The movers couldn't fit all of our stuff and it was almost 5. Eric and Brian saved the day by getting me in same day for a hitch installment and had a trailer I could take to AZ. While I was waiting there for the hitch to be installed, a woman who was crying came in requesting an extension to her reservation. Brian helped this woman as best as he could and she left thanking him. They ALL deserve raises.

Customer service. It took me 35 minutes to get my trailer reservation taken care of. Computer issues!!!!!!!!! don't know what the problem was but the clerk could not get the reservation and paperwork to generate on the computer, so I sat for 25 minutes ( timed on my cell phone) waiting for the computer to work !!!!!!!!!!! THEN once we got trailer hooked up and to location. Opened the door and it jammed open !!!!!!!!!!! The locking mechanism jammed above the frame of the door so we could not close the door. Had to take a pry-bar and wedge between door and frame for door to close. This has happened before !!!!!!! Suggest you put a blocking mechanism on the back end of the door tracks so that the door does not open completely up into the ceiling.

Was charged for storage incorrectly. Look at every bill and verify the correct billing. Uhual needs one bill for everything hualing, storage and delivery. As it is right now you have multiple bills that have to be looked at separately. This makes understanding the full cost hsrd to see.

Very smooth transaction and great customer service. Only two negatives: 1) trucks are parked so close to each other. If you are not aware and began to turn as you drive off, you would scrape the truck next to you. I would be very interested in seeing how many times this has happened. 2) there is plenty of space for renters to park their vehicles without using the street. Not the best part of town to leave a car on the street.

Store was understaffed. Gentlemen at the counter was a “drop it near the propane tank and I'll be there in 5 minutes” guy. So I had found a parking spot out-of-the-way near the propane tank, and waited to have him come out and unhook the trailer like they do. I Came back inside to let him know I found a spot for the trailer . I was told that “I could've left it where I had it” (in the middle of the drive). I did have some a place to be, so had asked if I could just unhook the trailer ( he still had another 5 minutes) and we both just agreed to drop the trailer and I left

Eric the owner was very helpful and even told us about the promotion for one month free unit rental with trailer rental we already contracted in Huron. Our family e to move my sister and her closing was delayed by a week so we needed a quick solution to store a small pull behind trailer's worth of stuff! Thanks uhaul and Eric!

The storage unit was a perfect fit, if I brought a flashlight. Also the staff, horrible in my opinion. But in their defense maybe under staffed. I've also tried to contact people here for months on end and relieved, nothing in return. Glad to be out!

A storage unit by phone and was given a different address. I drove there to check in and unload. When i arrived, I see what looks like an office with glass windows, I was concerned about going in because there was a man camped out in front of the door who appeared to be on drugs. I left my valuables in the car and quickly proceeded to the office. This address is 201 S.West Ave Sioux Falls 57104. Once inside, There is no one there, no office. Just a Kiosk that tells you, you need to check in online and have renatl insurance paperwork. Clearly too much hassel for a storage unit, but, most alarming was the desolate building with no personnel! I drove to the U Haul right around the corner and explained to Tyler, why I was so upset, He was very kind,understanding and professional. He took care of me by offering me a unit on site, the original address I first called. I appreciate the remedy but think Management needs to inform their employees to disclose the unmanned conditions of the property and to direct woman and the elderly to the manned site if available.

While most of the staff at this U-Haul location were friendly and helpful, corporate U-Haul is doing them a huge disservice. First of all, the design of the new storage units attached to the main building creates a situation where the entry to my storage unit is blocked with return U-Haul trucks every time I try to access it. Beyond that this U-Haul location is understaffed. So there is no one to help move the trucks out of the way. In addition, I first rented my unit online via the U-Haul website and when I showed up they did not have a unit of my size available. I understand this to be a corporate U-Haul issue and not a local problem. It seems corporate is creating issues and leaving it to the local U-Haul to solve it. I will not be renting from U-Haul again and I would strongly recommend against it to anyone I come into contact with

I made a move across the country with 4 kids by myself... It was a Very very VERY loooong drive :/ I was offered a one month storage unit free of charge and when I arrived to turn in the trailer and unload our stuff.. I found out there was only an upstairs unit available at the drop off location I had picked  ...I was totally overwhelmed at the thought of hauling everything we own up the stairs on my own and already exhausted from the long drive with wild kids 若 the lady that was helping us went out of her way to arrange a unit at a different location to accommodate and I am beyond grateful!! I almost cried the happy tears!!! Grateful, impressed, and sooo relived <3 I missed this kind of interaction that comes with living in the Midwest and it was a really great first experience with being back home. Thank you!!!

I had a ton of interactions with the staff at this location and only had two good experiences. The worst was when I had previously had a late payment. There was a UHaul lock on my storage unit, which I fully understand, but it wasn't taken off even weeks after I caught up the payment. An employee came up with me, told me he would go look for the key, and left me sitting there without returning for over a half hour. I left, and when I returned a couple of weeks after that, the lock was still there despite payments being all caught up. I was so relieved to get my things out of the storage unit and never deal with this location again.

Completely unprofessional and wrong that someone pays for 30 days with no other option and moves out early, maybe due to a change in circumstance and they don't get reimbursed for any of the amount they were required to pay but didnt use. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone and will be sure to never use your storagebservices going forward.

My initial phone conversations were very helpful but when I got confirmations on everyting the size of my unit was wrong. I called 2X and when I got there it was still not correct. Your employee on site (Tyler?) was excellant to work with. He got me the unit size I wanted and worked it out so that I could drop off my rental truck at the storage site instead of across town.
