angela b. | Overall ExperienceThe employees were somewhat rude I've had to run in with them like three times and they were not so very nice all three times one time I tried to tell them that the garage door would not go down and yes the office was closed but there was four people in there and they all looked at me and ignored me I was there for over 15 minutes trying to tell them that I couldn't get the door down and nobody cared till I came knocking where I wasn't supposed to be I was trying to be helpful they obviously were not they ignored me quite a few times and then when I turned in my storage unit the other day which was early you guys don't prorate anyway the staff is rather unfriendly

Allyson F. | Overall ExperienceA storage unit by phone and was given a different address. I drove there to check in and unload. When i arrived, I see what looks like an office with glass windows, I was concerned about going in because there was a man camped out in front of the door who appeared to be on drugs. I left my valuables in the car and quickly proceeded to the office. This address is 201 S.West Ave Sioux Falls 57104. Once inside, There is no one there, no office. Just a Kiosk that tells you, you need to check in online and have renatl insurance paperwork. Clearly too much hassel for a storage unit, but, most alarming was the desolate building with no personnel! I drove to the U Haul right around the corner and explained to Tyler, why I was so upset, He was very kind,understanding and professional. He took care of me by offering me a unit on site, the original address I first called. I appreciate the remedy but think Management needs to inform their employees to disclose the unmanned conditions of the property and to direct woman and the elderly to the manned site if available.
SUSAN L. | First ImpressionsWhile most of the staff at this U-Haul location were friendly and helpful, corporate U-Haul is doing them a huge disservice. First of all, the design of the new storage units attached to the main building creates a situation where the entry to my storage unit is blocked with return U-Haul trucks every time I try to access it. Beyond that this U-Haul location is understaffed. So there is no one to help move the trucks out of the way. In addition, I first rented my unit online via the U-Haul website and when I showed up they did not have a unit of my size available. I understand this to be a corporate U-Haul issue and not a local problem. It seems corporate is creating issues and leaving it to the local U-Haul to solve it. I will not be renting from U-Haul again and I would strongly recommend against it to anyone I come into contact with
