Left turn signal did not work on trailer. Trailer did not get checked back in when it was returned, so I was contacted by Uhaul corporate about my late rental return. Lot is congested and impossible to get around.

Was supposed to call after it was completed. Never heard. I tried calling. Couldn't speak with a human. Had to wait until the end of the day when they were busy. Waited in line for 10 minutes for them to help five customers.

Nothing. The service received was exceptional. The owner helped me with my transaction and you could tell he took pride in his work.

When I got to my location to pick up a car I saw that the straps were left loose and one strap as to short to work I had to improvise and use my my own straps on one side.

I ordered a medium and a small storage locker but got two smalls and paid different prices for both of them then realized for 5 months they were over charging me for my units so they gave me a discount on my one unit so I emptied what was supposed to be my medium unit and kept the small one for what they say is 89,98 plus tax I was being charged 115 dollars a month for a non insured small unit ... After leaving I have noticed water damage and broken tvs due to the conditions in the units 3 tvs were broken due to water damage and a ton of personal sentimental items were ruined I will never use a U-Haul again and I will tell me friends the truth of my experience with U-Haul... 10 of 10 worst experience ever highly do not recommend

We are PISSED that when we rented the truck in SD, we were told that we were given extra mileage to "help" us out since we needed to backtrack to Salem, SD and pick up stuff from a car accident. Once we arrived in Burnsville, we were charged for extra mileage. We were led to believe in SD that we wouldn't have any extra mileage charge. .The clerk was NOT clear and we asked him about the mileage specifically!! Rick told him the problem & the guy said "OK" .

Takes to long to process a customer, I often wait 30-60 minutes in line. Also, last trip I drove 10 miles and fueled the 10' truck with 1,5 gallons. Your store then charged me another 2 gallons after drop off. No way a 10' truck took 3,5 gallons to go 10 miles (2,8 mpg)

The staff was great to work with and the equipment was in excellent condition. The only room I see for improvement is getting all of the information from the online reservation I made to the staff at the pickup location. On three occasions in the past month, I found that the staff on site at the pickup did not have access to information I had already included when reserving the equipment I needed.

Sioux Falls office smells like sewage, might want to check that issue out.

Communicate better on type of install. They did not mention that they were going to leave exposed electric plug. I had to have them take it back to correct it. They corrected it but I still don't know if it works or if they tested lights after install

Got in the truck, was told it had a 1/4 tank of gas. It had 0 gas, couldn't get the the gas station fast enough. Went back in and they said the manager had to leave for a while and he couldn't help. Just so you know I didn't bring it back empty. ( Your Welcome). After a long day of moving I then spent an hr and a half trying to get the app to work to check in the truck., after using two different phones trying to get it to find our location, we decided it wasn't going to work and called the customer service number to sit on hold for another half hr to 45 minutes. She was nice at least and got us taken care of. I'm sure you won't take into account the gas we had to pay for your company and or the previous renter and we will still get charged milage that we've more than paid for in the gas and extra time. Always somthing with Uhaul, it's never easy.

The night driving lights didn't work because the trailer caused a fuse to blow. Could have been bad. Sioux Falls guys found the bad fuse and replaced it. Great customer Service!

I was guaranteed a price for my truck and auto trailer. The auto trailer transport was not in on the same day as my truck, but I paid for everything upfront. When I arrived to get my auto trailer transport the representatives attempted to charge me $347 for the auto trailer transport. I informed them I already paid and a back and forth ensued. The employee eventually found my original reservation which showed the total price for both being what I paid. He advised an error had occurred on Uhauls end and they separated the order and I overpaid for the moving truck. Over an hour was wasted arguing, and then when I stated since I paid the price for both I would like to take the auto transport trailer I was told I could not. I was told I had to still pay for the Auto Transport trailer and I would be given as a gift receipt. After more wasted time the employee could not give it to me as a gift reciept and stated he would refund my card but had no idea when I would get my money. The employee then proceeded to charge me the $347. I recommend having all employees being able to access gift receipts, and I also recommend if people are overcharged giving them their money back immediately. I would not recommend Uhaul because not only did I have my time wasted I was out an additional $400 I could have used for my trip across country.

I walked in right before the manager (I think he was the manager) was closing and desperately needed an unplanned trailer. The amazingly helpful man was so kind, helpful and accommodating. I had a carrier on my hitch because of an electric mobility scooter that I use to walk long distances. He helped me remove that, hooked up the trailer for me and made sure everything was good to go. I cannot explain how thankful I was for his kindness, amazing attitude and helpfulness. You should be so lucky to have any more employees like him. I feel horrible because in my slight franticness I failed to get his name, but he should honestly get kudos and a big thank you from Corporate as he gives your entire company a great name!!

The car hauling trailer I requested on Saturday through a reservation was not available so we had to wait until the next day. Also, the U-Haul app I used to return the trailer didn't let me complete it so I wasn't sure if I did it right or not. But I must have according to this email cuz I got a survey

When I received the truck it was at 83 miles and my receipt says it was at 77, I’m a little salty about getting charged for 6 miles I didn’t drive.

This location didn't setup mobile pickup, even though when I made the reservation online I chose mobile pickup. I had to wait over an hour for the location to open so I could pickup my reserved truck. The staff was rude and discourteous about the inconvenience this all caused me.

We reserved our trailer to be picked up at Beds & Beds on 41st Street. After waiting in line for 10-15 minutes we were informed that our trailer was over on 11th Street. If I wanted to pick up the trailer from 11th Street I would have reserved it from there. Then we were told that since we picked it up from 11th Street we had to go out of our way and return it there also. Zero stars for Uhaul!!

I stood in line and waited forever. The guy at the desk didn't seem to know what he was doing, and charged my card twice. So now I have to wait for it to go back on which is frustrating, and then he went out and inspected the trailer. Halfway through my trip I found out the right blinker, hadn't been working the whole time after u-haul hooked everything up and said I was good. Not impressed at all.

I'd hesitate to however. This time, I was given a much small truck than I reserved and the gas tank was literally on empty. The self check in and self check out didn't work either. My utmost worst experience. If my bill is incorrect when it comes, I guarantee there'll be holy hell to pay!

I am very disappointed, highly upset, and have been trying to get to an overcharging situation for days. However, this location is completely unprofessional and it seems as if they put the phone off the hook or they are simply just not responding. I am trying now to get a hold of corporate. It would be appreciated if they could call me at the number on my profile because I am so overwhelmed with what they have done during this time of distress I am already experiencing with having to move everything out of my apartment due to a flooding situation. Please please help me resolve this issue.

Over priced, a maze to get to second floor units without any lifts. They do supply flat carts, not much use for second floor.

The employees were somewhat rude I've had to run in with them like three times and they were not so very nice all three times one time I tried to tell them that the garage door would not go down and yes the office was closed but there was four people in there and they all looked at me and ignored me I was there for over 15 minutes trying to tell them that I couldn't get the door down and nobody cared till I came knocking where I wasn't supposed to be I was trying to be helpful they obviously were not they ignored me quite a few times and then when I turned in my storage unit the other day which was early you guys don't prorate anyway the staff is rather unfriendly

Eric the owner was very helpful and even told us about the promotion for one month free unit rental with trailer rental we already contracted in Huron. Our family e to move my sister and her closing was delayed by a week so we needed a quick solution to store a small pull behind trailer's worth of stuff! Thanks uhaul and Eric!

The storage unit was a perfect fit, if I brought a flashlight. Also the staff, horrible in my opinion. But in their defense maybe under staffed. I've also tried to contact people here for months on end and relieved, nothing in return. Glad to be out!

A storage unit by phone and was given a different address. I drove there to check in and unload. When i arrived, I see what looks like an office with glass windows, I was concerned about going in because there was a man camped out in front of the door who appeared to be on drugs. I left my valuables in the car and quickly proceeded to the office. This address is 201 S.West Ave Sioux Falls 57104. Once inside, There is no one there, no office. Just a Kiosk that tells you, you need to check in online and have renatl insurance paperwork. Clearly too much hassel for a storage unit, but, most alarming was the desolate building with no personnel! I drove to the U Haul right around the corner and explained to Tyler, why I was so upset, He was very kind,understanding and professional. He took care of me by offering me a unit on site, the original address I first called. I appreciate the remedy but think Management needs to inform their employees to disclose the unmanned conditions of the property and to direct woman and the elderly to the manned site if available.

While most of the staff at this U-Haul location were friendly and helpful, corporate U-Haul is doing them a huge disservice. First of all, the design of the new storage units attached to the main building creates a situation where the entry to my storage unit is blocked with return U-Haul trucks every time I try to access it. Beyond that this U-Haul location is understaffed. So there is no one to help move the trucks out of the way. In addition, I first rented my unit online via the U-Haul website and when I showed up they did not have a unit of my size available. I understand this to be a corporate U-Haul issue and not a local problem. It seems corporate is creating issues and leaving it to the local U-Haul to solve it. I will not be renting from U-Haul again and I would strongly recommend against it to anyone I come into contact with

I made a move across the country with 4 kids by myself... It was a Very very VERY loooong drive :/ I was offered a one month storage unit free of charge and when I arrived to turn in the trailer and unload our stuff.. I found out there was only an upstairs unit available at the drop off location I had picked  ...I was totally overwhelmed at the thought of hauling everything we own up the stairs on my own and already exhausted from the long drive with wild kids 若 the lady that was helping us went out of her way to arrange a unit at a different location to accommodate and I am beyond grateful!! I almost cried the happy tears!!! Grateful, impressed, and sooo relived <3 I missed this kind of interaction that comes with living in the Midwest and it was a really great first experience with being back home. Thank you!!!

I had a ton of interactions with the staff at this location and only had two good experiences. The worst was when I had previously had a late payment. There was a UHaul lock on my storage unit, which I fully understand, but it wasn't taken off even weeks after I caught up the payment. An employee came up with me, told me he would go look for the key, and left me sitting there without returning for over a half hour. I left, and when I returned a couple of weeks after that, the lock was still there despite payments being all caught up. I was so relieved to get my things out of the storage unit and never deal with this location again.

Completely unprofessional and wrong that someone pays for 30 days with no other option and moves out early, maybe due to a change in circumstance and they don't get reimbursed for any of the amount they were required to pay but didnt use. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone and will be sure to never use your storagebservices going forward.

My initial phone conversations were very helpful but when I got confirmations on everyting the size of my unit was wrong. I called 2X and when I got there it was still not correct. Your employee on site (Tyler?) was excellant to work with. He got me the unit size I wanted and worked it out so that I could drop off my rental truck at the storage site instead of across town.

I give your staff and storage facility an A but communication to setup delivery of Uboxes and trying to reach a person via your phone system an F. Would not recommend until that's fixed.
