Acting GM JP stayed after to get my rental done when he saw me on the phone in the parking lot with customer service after the location had closed. This made a big difficulty in my life because without the vehicle I wouldn't have been able to get my items moved that evening.Joseph C.

Truck was received on empty (without gas), booked a month in advance including a furniture dolly which was not available. It was added to my invoice anyway, and then when I checked my invoice later (they said it would be removed), the charge for the furniture dolly was $788!! (not a joke).William L.

There is usually some issue when I rent from this location. The main issue is staff who don't seem to know what is going on. This time, the staff member was friendly, went over the main contract info and highlighted important numbers. He walked out to help find the truck with me.janelle F.

The truck was great. Very clean and acceptable in every way minus one big issue. The roof leaked from the rain and (melted) snow we got this weekend and it damaged some of my furniture. This should be something that is checked by uhaul prior to the rental.Addison P.
When we arrived the truck was not ready. The sun shade was not removed, there was snow on the front windshield and we had to scrape it off. Truck had not been started. One wind shield wiper was not working properly, check engine light on. When we informed the employee of the issues she said â€œ don't worry about itâ€ and we had to try and use them because the snow on the truck was melting and running down windshield. Customer service was very poor. I am not pleased with my experience especially with the amount I was charged.Candace M.

My rental time for the tow dolly was from 11AM until 5PM. When I arrived at the location, my friends' truck did not have the proper lighting adapter. So I traveled to the nearest auto parts store and purchased an adapter, which upon returning to the U-Haul location discovered that this adapter did not work. My U-Haul person told me that he had his shipment of adapters come in while I was gone for almost an hour and we hooked up the car hauler and I was on my way; but the time was not 12:10PM, not 11AM. When I returned the car dolly at 5:24PM, (UNDER THE SIX HOURS THAT i RENTED IT FROM!!!) I was given an email stating that my rental time had exceeded the original six hour time-frame that I I had purchased. If you look at my account, I have continuously rented from this same location and your company for many years. THIS DOUBLE CHARGE IS RIDICULOUS!!!! I feel like I've been ripped off! The customer representative had a brusque demeanor and appeared to be annoyed by my patronage of the business. Music was so loud in the rental parking area that it was difficult to hear instructions for hook-up. Very little customer parking and customers trying to leave with their rentals were getting short with other costomers who were blocking the way out.Frederic H.

Unlike the Broadway UHaul store, which owner was extremely rude, did not want to answer my questions and hung up on me, the Jeffersonville UHaul store that I used instead was great. People who are in the store front / office are incredibly unhelpful. When I arrived, I simply asked where to park to receive the rented trailer- nobody could be bothered to show me or even tell me. After I left, I realized I rented the wrong equipment, this was my fault. I did not realize on the website my selection stated alternative equipment available. So I was charged a higher price for a lower end piece of equipmentâ€¦ nice. I did not address this when coming back because that was my fault. But make sure to pay attention to the top left hand corner when ordering. When I returned I asked the staff in the store / office if they had the correct trailer needed for rental. They would not give me a response. They told me to do everything online. Irritating and unhelpful.John F.

Attendant named Trevor cursed at me several times and even tried to pick a fight upon my arrival. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. He's lucky I didn't knock his teeth out. I'll never use or recommend this location again. I plan to post on social media about my horrible experience and let all my friends know not to do business there either. The customer service was non existing. I spoke to the lady checking in trucks and she blantedly ignored me for about a minute until I said "Hello, ma'am I asked you a question. She was literally in her phone and my face and did not care. Upon having to consult with her inside I said Hello how are you today. No response. So I spoke up and told her that I had just spoken to her and that she should have replied back. Honestly she was at work and should have spoke to me first. Her excuse was that she was tired because she got up 5 minutes before she was supposed to be at work. I politely schooled her on how to exhibit good communication and customer service skills regardless of what goes on at home. When went to drop off informed worker that could not pay anything extra on same card, that I needed to make extra payment on different card. She said she would go check on what it would be. Came back in and showed me receipt for that uhaul which was 30 something extra. Then I went to give her my next card, she asked what I'm doing, I informed her I was getting my other card to make the payment. She informed me that the payment was already put threw. I told her that I said if anything extra it would need to be on another card! She said well you should have told me that. I looked at my acct and luckly I had $0,17 left in it. Over all the experience was great, expect the part of paying and completely being ignored from my request from the beginning of the transaction!Candacw W.

Your system doesn't scan driver licenses correctly. I was at this location for 2 hours. The employee at the desk needed to verify that my driver's license was not expired. I was out in the lot with another employee for almost 10 minutes. She didn't give me any paperwork so he went in to get it. Then he told me that she wasn't done with paperwork. She didn't even leave the desk ti come tell us that. The trailers taillights didn't work. So I had to go back in and wait for 2 customers to get served before they got me set up with another trailer. It took me two hours to get a rental which should have only taken 30 minutes max. I will never return to this location again.Renny K.

This has nothing to do with the location, but UHaul's procedures. This was the second weekend in a row that I scheduled the truck location and upon online check in, I find my pickup was assigned to a location other than I reserved. The first weekend, I canceled my reservation because the location was ridiculously further away than reserved. Why can I not be notified no trucks are available when reserving as opposed to learning in the 12th hour that the location is changed? Very, very frustrating.James W.
The trailer was hooked up by Robert and light checked. I tried to open back door and it would not open. Robert tried and unhooked trailer to direct me to another unit. Robert hooked up trailer but did not check lights. After he walked back in the office, I did not feel it was safe to not check lights and drove to office to have that done. Robert was gone but I asked another employee for help. He was busy so I asked a customer to check and he complied. An employee then came out and did the check and asked if a picture was taken. Pictures were then take. After going to my hotel, I did not like the angle of the trailer toungue. The ball was too low and the chains were less than an inch off the ground. Surly attitude of Robert and his lack of professional work ethic in not checking new trailer lights need to be improved. I wrongfully expected that the trailer would not be hooked up to an unsafe towing condition (receiver and ball too low). I did accept it but later got help from another U haul dealer as I did not trust the pickup location. Another U haul dealer on Grant Line Road agreed that it was not safe and helped me unhook the trailer and turn insert to have a rise instead of drop, used his time and tools to change the balls position to match insert.Vernon C.

This has been by far my worst experience with Uhaul. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. They charged me for another months rent upon checking out WITHOUT authorization to use my card. Our storage building was broken into and no one from the facility contacted us to tell us. We went by one night to get something out of storage and found out our lock had been changed. It was after office hours so we had to come back the next day to find out why and to get in. That's when they told us they had some break-ins. They acted like it was no big deal and when we questioned them on why they didn't contact us they didn't say anything. Several things were stolen from our building. And if we filed a police report I'm sure we would never see these things again because we have no idea how long ago this happened because no one from the facility contacted us. I had mice in my storage unit which got into all my storage boxes. I've had to disinfect and clean a huge number of boxes that had priceless items stored within them. This infestation occurred early on and there was obviously a large number of mice. I mentioned the mice to the staff.l, but all they said is they would set traps outside the unit and that was it. The price for my unit was rather high for storage. I missed one payment on time one time and paid it within days of missing. They sent me at least 5 letters in the mail about the same issue. I am amazed to be asked to rate my experience, both because the location is aware of the disastrous outcome of my stay and the total indifference to the situation exhibited at the time. The unit I rented, 264, was broken into and items taken. The replacement value of the stolen items, $450-500, far exceeds the difference I would have paid at a more reliable storage facility. No effort was made to inform me of the theft, nor any offer made to review the video record that is supposedly kept. When I discovered the break-in the staff acknowledged it but could not tell me exactly when it occurred, despite ubiquitous signage about "24-hour monitoring" and "no access without authorization". I don't expect any response or further action, given the lack of response when the theft was relatively fresh, but I will certainly not recommend or endorse this location.Rodger M. | Expérience générale

Had over $13 000 worth of sneakers stolen from my unit. My lock wasn't tampered with. The walls in the unit don't even come up all the way to the ceiling, so people can go over the wall from unit to unit without even having to enter through the front. Absolutely ridiculous. Several times during my rental interval, the gate was broken on the open position. Durinq the business day, the gate was left open. The unit had debris on the floor when I moved in and more debris, a mud dauber's nest, and numerous spider webs as the doors Were not wind proof, and the latching often stuck. I had items stolen out of my storage unit. I went to tell the people in the office and they told me it has been happening lately and all I can do is call the police to file a police report. No customer service at all, not an I'm sorry that happened or anything. Every time, I went to my storage unit there was always trash just laying outside of it for weeks. I am aware that they didn't know it was going to happen but of course, all of the cameras were facing the other way.
