I bought a XL wardrobe box, we did not have it overloaded, but the bar of it bent right in half, clearly it was defective. I am hoping that they will give me another bar when I take it in and show them as we really need this wardrobe box. but it was very upsetting when we got home to find all my sons work DRESS SUITS in a pile with a bent bar that just let them all fall down. That's a LOT of Drycleaning or pressing that now sadly has to be REDONE!!! Not happy about that one!!

It should be documented who I felt with at the register, but this was the easiest and most professional experience I've ever had with this location. He got right to the point made a stressful day go smoothly. I don't ever leave reviews, but had to on this guy. Give him a raise or I'm never coming back……..Outstanding Job

I would only go to that location for convenience, or else we'd go somewhere else to do our business. They're always rude there. No people skills or smiles or just plain good customer service.

A 45 rental ended up costing three times that much. Will not be back to this location plus the oler guy with the missing teeth is rude. I had to reschedule my rental because the week before they didn't have a vehicle a Available even though we had confirmation number. Also watched the old guy get rude with multiple customers.

The computers were slow and they charged me for gas although I replaced the gas that was in there. Had I not payed attention to my receipt I would never known I was being charged for gas. Also, I initially reserved a dolly and didn't use it and I asked if I would still be charged for it and was advised I would.

The man who helped me at the pickup location was great, but there is something VERY wrong with the scheduling system online. I had to correct my pickup and drop-off information TWICE by calling corporate and still ON THE DAY OF MY MOVE the information was wrong. I did not receive a call or email telling me the truck I scheduled for wasn't available at the location I was picking up from, and instead scheduled my pickup at a location much farther away than I was moving from without my consent. The man who helped me at my pickup location actually saved the day for me.

The manager that James is rude and has HORRIBLE customer service. I'm surprise he's the manager because of his disgusting attitude. He had a problem every time I wanted to ask him a question he just has a rude personality! The gas gauge was on empty when i got the truck. I probably put an additional 10 miles on the truck trying to find a gas station. It was so empty, i thought i would run out before i could find a gas station. Brought it back with half a tank. Where's my refund for that?

The woman I worked with was lovely. It was her first week and she was still learning but did well. The man who supervised her was a complete grump. He was harsh and abrupt. The truck was clean and appeared well maintained BUT had less than a quarter tank of gas, the check engine light went on as I was driving back, and most concerning, the steering became wonky on my way back. I started to lose control. Fortunately I was only going about 20 mph. I swung from lane to lane but avoided hitting anyone or going off the bridge. In 45 years of driving I've never experienced this. It was slightly windy but not so much as to cause this.

The staff was very rude. They told me I could come upto 1 hour early. I got their 30 minutes early. Waited and waited. Staff 2 men were so rude. When the truck come in he stood at the door and just looked at me. After 15 minutes i ask him was that my truck he said yes. I said it would be nice to know . I will never use this store again.

Except for the fact that they didn't have an appliance dolly that I had reserved. They let us use a furniture dolly at no charge though. Also, this was the 3rd place to get my reservation due to 2 others not having my selected truck. They gave me a gas allowance for having to travel. Very cooperative people.

UHaul as a whole was terrible. Do not move my pick up location that night before and expect a good review. Additionally, don't overcharge me just because you won't move to the truck yourself to another location. The only good part of your company was the employee who waived the additional fee of Uhauls incompetence to provide a promised service of me choosing my location.

Trailer hatch wouldn't close, the vehicle smelled of cigarettes and alcohol, the steering wheel was nasty feeling and wires were hanging down from under the dash on the passenger side. I opened a case to get a refund because of this horrible experience and having to buy tools to fix the trailer myself and having to make multiple phone calls and getting hung up on.

Unit was pretty dirty when I got it, Some of your staff in Clarksville, Indiana really need attitude adjustments. I needed a truck from that facility 2 different times and could not get one and the attitude I got was ridiculous I had to get a truck from Penske to unload my U-haul storage unit.

I had mice in my storage unit which got into all my storage boxes. I've had to disinfect and clean a huge number of boxes that had priceless items stored within them. This infestation occurred early on and there was obviously a large number of mice. I mentioned the mice to the staff.l, but all they said is they would set traps outside the unit and that was it. The price for my unit was rather high for storage. I missed one payment on time one time and paid it within days of missing. They sent me at least 5 letters in the mail about the same issue. One late notice should suffice or in the 21st century, a text would be more sensible.

I am amazed to be asked to rate my experience, both because the location is aware of the disastrous outcome of my stay and the total indifference to the situation exhibited at the time. The unit I rented, 264, was broken into and items taken. The replacement value of the stolen items, $450-500, far exceeds the difference I would have paid at a more reliable storage facility. No effort was made to inform me of the theft, nor any offer made to review the video record that is supposedly kept. When I discovered the break-in the staff acknowledged it but could not tell me exactly when it occurred, despite ubiquitous signage about "24-hour monitoring" and "no access without authorization". I don't expect any response or further action, given the lack of response when the theft was relatively fresh, but I will certainly not recommend or endorse this location.

I never interacted with staff with COVID-19 sickness in the US. My storage units door was so horrible I always had to have someone with me to raise the door up. It really needs to be repaired.

Had over $13 000 worth of sneakers stolen from my unit. My lock wasn't tampered with. The walls in the unit don't even come up all the way to the ceiling, so people can go over the wall from unit to unit without even having to enter through the front. Absolutely ridiculous. I WILL NOT EVER recommend this location to anyone.

Several times during my rental interval, the gate was broken on the open position. Durinq the business day, the gate was left open. The unit had debris on the floor when I moved in and more debris, a mud dauber's nest, and numerous spider webs as the doors Were not wind proof, and the latching often stuck. My rent increased once in that interval with No improvements visible.

I had items stolen out of my storage unit. I went to tell the people in the office and they told me it has been happening lately and all I can do is call the police to file a police report. No customer service at all, not an I'm sorry that happened or anything. Every time, I went to my storage unit there was always trash just laying outside of it for weeks. I am aware that they didn't know it was going to happen but of course, all of the cameras were facing the other way. I am very disappointed and will never use UHaul again.
