Be prepared not to get what you reserved. The call to order the 20" Truck went smooth, at no time did the customer service rep give me the impression that we would not be able to get what we requested. Fast forward a week, we were supposed to get a 20" Truck for 10 on Sunday, Fri they call and tell me that I can only get a 10ft truck and it won't be ready till 130pm. The service rep basically didn't care that we got half the size truck , gave me attitude that well at least they let us know "Fri" instead of the night before. "THANKS" and that well to bad change your day or cancel, the rep seriously couldn't care less that this totally screwed up our move. We got at least 100 extra km since now we had to make multiple trips and try to scramble our crew to move now 4 hrs later. Def look around to see other options a good chance you won't get what you reserved if anything at all and with the attitude to bad so sad. I def won't recommend haul again and will look at other options. Someone was supposed to contact me over this NOTHING I haven't heard a thing from haul. .... your taking a chance if you book with them especially end month. This was not the locations fault... this was the service reps over the phone. The haul location 51ave had nothing to do with what happened.misty S.

The ABS light stayed on for most of the trip. Truck was empty when I picked it up. Advised counter but even though he wrote it down on my sign out sheet did not change it In Computer. When I brought it back I did not get any credit for extra hundred dollars worth of fuel.Dennis W.

I had returned the vehicle and I was initially charged for mileage that I did not occur. I think they gave me the incorrect vehicle as the mileage was different from what was on the original paper but I could not quickly confirm as the vehicle had Mi and the papers had km. So I took a photo and a good thing I did. I was then charged appropriately but not after wasting my time for their error.Cristina R.
Website states and allows for up to 24 hours truck rental. After first confirmation callback, I was informed I could only have truck 10 hours max. giving us a 4-6 hours moving window. After second callback (day before pickup) review confirmed 14 hours use. Very confusing and impractical use of vehicle as truck was booked to return at 6am the following morning, and therefore up to 8 of the 14 hours of non use due to the late hours 10pm to 6am, forcing us to continue a rushed move until 1am that night, which may or may not have caused noise violation and disturbances with the move in location. Upon receiving truck, the estimated price, before mileage was 20 $more than quoted online, and (no wheeler). After receiving final invoice, price was 50 $more, than quoted price. Way overcharged for fuel, I drove 8 kilometres out in 14,65 $ in gas and was charged another 25 $in fuel charges. More information regarding the fuelling would have been helpful. It's ridiculous to pay 40 $for 8 kilometres of travel. I phoned to say I was charged to much because I did put fuel in. I was basically told that it costs the 25 $plus the 14,65 $ I put in to go 8 kilometres the mileage proved I only did one trip. Seems like allot for fuel charges. It would cost a lot for a further move! Unless I had pictures of everything before and after they were not interested in my complaint. Felt like I was not heard. Im sure maintenance costs are high for the fleet however the prices are very very high. I used a 10 ft cube van for 100km and it cost over 200 $not including refueling. Uhaul is no longer a practical rental service for moving large objects due to the high cost. But the staff was great, very helpful!Paul B.

I formally complain about your disappointing and incomprehensible service. I booked a 6' x 12' trailer last May 7 and paid 240 $. But on the afternoon of May 28, you called me and said you couldn't lend me a trailer on the size of the date I booked. It was said that it would be available at 10 am on 31 May, so I postponed my move and made plans again. But now that I've checked, I've confirmed that the trailer pickup place is about two and a half hours away from where I live. I have to start moving in a few hours right now, and this is simply not possible. I just can't believe how this can happen. I booked 3 weeks in advance and paid for it. I've lost my time, but I've been restricted by you. But I just don't understand how you got me to pick up a trailer so far away. If you broke your promise, wouldn't it be a real service to at least meet the next appointment with the customer? I can't believe how a big company like you can do this. I was so disappointed. I just asked a question in the chat and all I asked was to talk to a local manager at 7 am. I don't know what I'll get after the call. From now on, I will never do any business with a company that doesn't value customers' time like you. Also, if someone asks me about your service, I will actively stop them. My only comment would be that the site would consider staggering the pick-up times. Although I had pre-registered online, I still had to wait in line delaying my move start by 1,5 hours. I had people sitting around waiting for the truck to arrive. So, instead of making 25 trucks available at 9am, I would suggest that you book only 4 at a time in an hour. For example, have four people booked for 9am, then 4 for 9:30am, 4 for 10 am, etc. it would lessen the waiting time and angst of those who are waiting.Christopher S.

This location was okay for pickup. However, I had made the reservation months before our pickup, reserving a 26' truck, an auto-tow, 2 utility dollies, a furniture dolly and 36 furniture pads. When I went to pick everything up, the rental agent told me that they didn't have a furniture dolly to give me, and that it was first come, first serve. As I was moving a piano, I needed the furniture dolly. The agent eventually found a dolly, but I was not impressed. I was even more unimpressed when I found out that the one of the windshield wiper blades had come loose and was falling off the windshield, and the other wiper was so old that it screeched every time the wiper made a pass across the window. Really, really irritating. The wipers should have been checked with routine maintenance that just wasn't performed.Christopher H.

The reason for the mediocre rating is because there was a male employee wandering around with his mask around his chin. He was not keeping his distance from staff and customers. I felt unsafe. I originally rented from the 17th street location and they did not have the trailer harness extension. So I had to go somewhere else. That took a lot of time out of my schedule. That just should not happen particularly when the trailer is reserved.Brian A.

The roof leaked The lock hooks didn't line up ... 10 min to just take lock off not to mention the fight to put it on The web page that has auto charge the credit card on time of billing dosnt work. Recieved hate mail each month The inability to do auto payment when getting storage was frustrating The space was locked to get to the unit.
