Renting the trailer was the hardest part of transporting this car. Went to one location and the guy there couldn’t make the reservation work on his computer. Went to this location and it took a long time to get it done.

We rented a truck on line weeks ahead hired help to move when we went to pick up the truck at the unmanned uhaul store the website was down we could not get the code to the key box. We had to cancel the hired help lost our deposit 128$ went to manned store and rented a truck and moved our selves. To old for this bullshit. There should be no un manned stores you cheap bastards. Stop doing everything on line to save a buck. Or change your name to we suck.

I didn’t notice until a mile down the road that the road that the gas tank did not match what was on the contract. The gas tank has less gas. Since I only had 4 hours I didn’t go back because I was pressed for time. U-Haul needs to ensure their marking on the contract truly reflects what is in the gas tank.

I would not recommend IHaul overall to anyone. I reserved a 26’ truck 8 weeks in advance, confirmed by phone every week to ensure no problems and when we went to get the truck it had been given to a walk-in. It took better part of 4 hours to find another truck, farther away so there would be a larger charge for mileage (like you weren’t getting enough money) while the folks that were ready to load are doing nothing. This comment is far too nicely worded, trust me. Your companies stupid stunt almost put 4 people in the hospital because once we got the truck we were on a shorter deadline to get the damn thing back. Me and my family should be compensated for all charges and the cost of movers sitting around 4 hours waiting for UHaul to get their heads out of your backside. I will never be bavk

Even though there was some confusion about the truck drop-off (because the place I picked was not the one listed in Denver when we picked up), everyone was helpful and I got a followup call the next day.

My customer service representative at this location was Julia. They did not have the equipment that I reserved. They sent me to a different location, claiming they'd called that location and confirmed they had the right equipment for me. After a 20 minute drive 10 miles out of my way, that location did not have my equipment and also said they had not spoken to anyone on the phone. I was sent to a third location in another city. They had the right equipment but I had to pay for the dolly, which I had already paid for at the 1st location. Long story short, I paid twice for one dolly and an extra 30 miles that were not my fault, not to mention the extra 1.5 hours I spent driving to all the different locations. I was promised by the store associate at the pick-up store that I would certainly not be paying for this rental because of the trouble I went through, yet I received a receipt of "payment" in my email after I left that charged me for all miles they forced me to drive and for a dolly that they never even gave me.

Need to hire more people. I tried to call to reserve, was immediately placed on hold. On hold long enough to drive across the city only for them to hang up the call. Once there, there were only 2 employees and both were outside. I waited over 30 minutes inside, no customer service. I watched 5 potential customers walk off and leave during that time. On top of that being charged almost $100 for 4 hours of use in town. We used the truck to pick up items for missionary work and can't afford to put that type of money out each time we need to transport items from one house to storage.I'll go elsewhere next time.

Understaffed location. It appeared to be improperly and inefficiently managed as well. Many unhappy customers over the two days I visited. I've used uhaul in a few different cities with great results, and used online to book my most recent truck with no issues, but the Springdale location is just awful from top to bottom.

I've been to this location several times and the feeling I get is the same as when I go to the doctor, meaning they can make ME wait without any sense of urgency? Also, the U-Haul online system is ridiculous in that it gives you a reservation at a particular location even though it KNOWS they not only don't have the truck, there's not even one scheduled to be dropped off at that location. How do you not know where your trucks are, and send your customers on a wild goose chase? It seems to me that this industry could be a Prime target for an Amazon takeover, no pun intended.

This location, everytime I've been there, has horrible wait times. I figured using a real person to do the transaction would be easier/faster than the app but I was wrong. There was 1 person in front of me at both the pickup and return of my rental and both times I ended up waiting about 30mins. It was an unnecessary wait that was completely avoidable. Also, the woman behind the counter who did the transaction for me didn't check the vehicle before she filled out the paper work, the mileage was off by 2 miles from what the truck actually was and the gas was not completely full like she stated in the paper work. This forced me to have to spend roughly $15 to avoid additional charges. Will not be using this location ever again

We always have positive experiences with this location. Yesterday was no different, in fact it was better. We had a reservation at a different location that was closed but we were talked in to doing a self check out by the call center employee who guaranteed me that it was simple and would only take a few minutes. NOT SO. The reservation number 89658823 was scheduled to pick up at 6pm. At 6:53pm, we were still at that location and we still did not have the vehicle picked up because the self check out was NOT simple. After almost an hour of trying to self check our I had a strong tension headache. I contacted Freddie at the Twin City location to ask for his help. He talked me through the process, I sent him screen shots of what I was seeing on my phone, and he even tried logging in to see my rental from a different point of view. Nothing was working. We needed this vehicle today to complete a job that had been booked for months. So Freddie called Dalaina at the Twin City location to see if there was a possible solution from their store for us. He called me back shortly and told us to go to the Twin City location ... AFTER HOURS ... so they could help us with our rental needs. Not only did Freddie and Dalaina save the day, they were VERY pleasant and VERY professional while saving our day. We can not conduct our business without the help of Freddie, Robert, and Dalaina at the Twin City location. They have always done what they can to help us. This time Freddie and Dalaina went above the call of duty. Thank you to them for being so understanding and willing to help us and find solutions with our rental needs!!!!

It was busy and only one person working the desk. Young lady that connected the trailer was outstanding. Lady in charge at drop off facility was not helpful at all. She said “unless you can put it in that specific spot (which was narrow), I can’t take it.” No suggestions for alternatives, no help backing it in, no help disconnecting, she just went back inside. Really disappointing service.

My 17 foot truck wasn't there when I arrived. No apologies or offer to give me a different truck until I asked then she tried to charge me more for the 20 foot truck. She didn't know how to change the charge on the truck. Id guess I heard her click the mouse 50-75 times in the transaction. Slow process, unapologetic and not friendly.

Let people know that they cannot use Safari to pick up trucks before business hours. And when speaking with an agent to be sure to get their name when you are told that 1 extra day will be comped. I spent over an hour in my car, trying to pick up my rental. Got my son out of bed early to drive me over. Talked with an agent on the phone; the call was dropped and they did not call me back. Used chat for over 30 minutes. Had to leave because I was late for work. We had people scheduled to help load the truck that morning, while I was at work. The next day was Mother's Day. Which I spent moving, as our friends had plans. I also had to rent at a different location, which was farther away. So, I need credit for he additional day that came out of my pocket. Everyone working at both locations I had to go to was helpful. The issues were corporate.

Raliegh NC to Springdale AR was stressful enough and once arrived and ready to unload it was SO HOT!! which can make it more stressful at times but you done EVERYTHING, literally "whatever it takes" to fix ALL issues from which unit all the way to the code not working, she took care of it, PERIOD. As a former U-Haul manager at one time, SHE is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Stayed busy, immediately helped us as we opened the door, worked through ALL the bugs, (again. there for several) and was beyond polite! She went above and beyond for sure!! I filled out paperwork on Thursday 5/9/19 for a 2 day rental beginning 5/10/19. The attendant filled out the paperwork incorrectly. I picked up the trailer on 5/10/19. The staff couldn’t find my agreement and it took a long time to be able to leave. I also asked for insurance and that was never confirmed. I was told that they “had corporate do it” since I never received an email confirmation of my rental. I called on 5/11/19 after receiving a voicemail that I was supposed to have dropped the trailer off 5/11/19. After explaining what happened she said, “I’ll take care of it.” The way she took care of it was to bill me for a third day. Why would I rent a trailer on 5/10/19...pay for it for the day...and then not pick it up until the next day...obviously there was some miscommunication. I returned the trailer after hours on 5/11/19 and just received notification the evening of 5/12/19 by email that I had been charged an extra day rental.

The new process for renting and returning the uhaul trucks has gotten simultaneously more complicated and easier. There can be less personal involvement with the 24/7 rental and return, but using the uhaul website to return the truck can be an issue. I had to try two phones and two different browsers to get the return website to register any of the pictures I took. Which you have to take several including the mileage, fuel level, cleanliness of the cab, and cleanliness of the inside of the truck. Its the same service we've gotten for years, but with added steps with varying levels of annoyance

When I walked in the door, the whole team joined in by greeting me, teasing me, and making me feel so very relaxed and comfortable. Robert (the installer) could not have been more efficient; he completed the job more than 1/2 hour ahead of schedule. They all answered all of my questions - no matter how simplistic they may have been - and I walked out of the store feeling very confident about my decision.

The staff made our move difficult by creating unnecessary delays in access to our units. They made statements to us ('Freddie' & 'Robert' in particular) in an attempt to assault our state of mind.

Very easy to deal with. Online pay was so easy & when we were ready to move out, we just had to tell them a few days before. Facilities were clean & well maintained. I would highly recommend!!

Issues with speaking to the corporate call center and the info that was relayed and carried out vs. in the actual store. Seems like a big problem they should fix soon. The store helped us out though

For those that have to climb stairs it would be nice to have a ramp. It's hard to load and off load and load again. Especially if your not s young person.

I traveled between three States sometimes more frequently and would miss or would fail to make my payments on time(s) but when I would come back the staff would be most helpful in more ways than one.
