They charged me 12,5 saying I didn't fill up the tank when I clearly did like I paid 53$ in gas
kenneth D.Well, the location was fine, I dropped the car off and explained that I got it with a half a tank and it was right at that maybe a tiny bit less. He said that was totally fine to drop the car off. I asked if I needed any paperwork he said no. Three days later I receive a call early in the morning from U-Haul asking where the truck is and when I will be dropping it off. I explained I had drop it off yet the representative continue to state she was unaware and asked if I dropped it off at the correct location. I said yes and explain the situation, she did apologize and said that she would reach out again if needed. At the end of the day I received an email stating that they charge me for 11 gallons of gas and an extra 30 miles. While I understand the extra 30 miles I do not believe I should be charged for gas specifically 11 gallons when it was given nearly exactly what I was provided. When I emailed the response I received was that it was given to me at half and I gave it to them back a little less than a half so that they are required to charge me that much. I do not agree and asked for a refund of the 11 gallons to which I have not received a response.
Michelle G.Rented a trailer to haul new UTV. Gave all specs to employee and he rented me a trailer that wasn't wide enough so I couldn't use it. Took it back and was pretty much told “tough luck†since it left the property, no refund (not even partial) NO offer to find another trailer. Wood Power Sports employee said there was a Uhaul in Rogers that had the right kind of trailer because he sent other customers there. I just wasted my money at this location. Thanks!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Tanya W.Good experience, except they charged me a 14 dollar charge for fuel. Luckily I took a picture when I picked up and dropped off of the dash proving there was more gas in the vehicle at drop off than at pick up. Corporate reversed the charge with this evidence.

Hunter P.Equipment offered was very old and in rough shape. The seat bolster was so worn out I would almost fall off when making a left hand turn. When I requested one of the newer trucks that were setting on the lot, they told me they could not switch them. This was even though they were still setting in the same spot when I arrived the next day. I also selected mobile pickup, as this is a busy location. Upon arriving and checking in,I was prompted to "get the keys from inside". So I still had to go wait in a line of people dealing with storage unit business.
Austin H.Make sure the restroom is accessible. During pickup, apparently someone was camping out in the restroom. At the time of return, the staff had no idea where the key to the restroom was. While this is a minor issue, it was annoying. As to the truck rented, it was available when reserved, it was clean and in good mechanical condition, and clean. The staff was very accomodating.

But when I went to rent a second, they wouldn't, due to only having permit and pic of license, which I was told by numerous U-Haul agents this was no problem. And wasn't for first guy who rented me the 5x8 is truthfully what is was so not sure how I'm being billed 86+. Or is it 94+, because this was the smallest until I've ever seen. I reserved a 10x10,8 of 40th street, the fact I traveled ( some Google malfunction) almost 24hrs, then upon arrival was told it was no longer available after finding out I was nt even at right location to get all the into for 40th street location, and when I extended the uhaul rental, she charged me another 36$, when that should have been total for 4 days of renting. Please call or text resolution.

Was told access hours was same as office hours with no exceptions even due to 103 F heat during day hours. Musty smells when walking through back section. Was difficult to park in loading zone due to trailers parked so close to parking spaces. I moved to a better storage company for the same price.

I did them online but when I called to ask questions, no one could find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. I had reserved the smallest unit available on the ground floor. The 2nd reservation that I made with Stephanie on the phone, she didn't mention that it was upstairs...so when I arrived at the unit to move my items in I had to select a different unit that was not upstairs and a much larger unit than I needed. Cost me over twice as much. Then large unit I was given, was filthy and full of bugs...but I instructed my daughter to clean it before she checked out so we didn't get any additional charges. Then I ended up being charged for two units! I had to call and get one credited back, which was easy. However, the whole process was difficult and I will not be back.

Uhaul did nothing to prevent this and left their gates open and unlocked all the time. I was there for less than a month when this occurred. So many precious memories and heirlooms lost.

Who knowingly would rent a storage unit requiring a buggy to unload a truck piece by piece onto...push buggy 50 yards from climate control to NON CLIMATE CONTROL thru swinging doors, unload each piece, manually carry it up a flight of stairs to another buggy...push loaded 2nd buggy another 25 yards to a 5×5 unit under a metal roof in AUGUST. I was by myself! 62 years old! But I did it! I will never do it again and will warn others of the fact it was a surprise.
Floyd W. | Premières impressionsI picked the U-Haul up at opening and the gentleman working was covered in dirt and grime and was overall not clean or professional. The U-haul also wasn't in the best shape and had patches/damage/issues with the truck. It rained during the last hour of our one day move and the patch job on the side of the U-Haul leaked damaging some of our furniture and all of dry goods. Two bookshelves sustained significant water damage. I told the clerk upon returning that the U-haul truck leaked water at the patch job and the only response was “Okayâ€. This was very disappointing service. It was clear that this truck has had issues with leaks in the past and had a shotty repair, yet it is still in service.

Nick B.When trying to be helpful by pulling a 26' truck up by the door, make sure you don't leave it in a spot that's impossible to get out of the parking lot from, the guys parked me right in front of a very tight turn with cars and curbs on both sides, and then tried to teach me how to turn…there is no way anyone would make that turn

Nhi L.The truck we were given was in terrible shape. We took a video of how terrible it rattled when holding the steering wheel b/c it was unbelievable. We reserved the truck online weeks earlier and were told that the newer better trucks were for one way or out of town. We were taking the truck almost 200 miles and back, 400 miles and it was miserable! Also there was no cruise control. $600 later miserable. I'm thankful it made it 400 miles.
JEFFREY M.The team had NO idea where my truck was, what size I needed, made me wait almost 3 hrs to finally hand over the vehicle. Next day, on top of EVERYTHING, a MANAGER called me to claim that the truck be returned, when 8n fact I HAD returned it at 3am. So she didn't bother to check for vehicle or key b4 rudely wakening up from rest, and when I responded to her accordingly, shouted back and hung the phone TWICE when I called back. I filled a 2nd compliant and am waiting on a return call from coorporate and my reimbursement.

Called and said I should be able to on app. 2nd I was able to reserve but still would not let me check in outside of business hours and had to go in to get finalized. (Would not accept my DL photo) Also reserved movers for assistance through app. Texted back and Forth, confirmed needs prior to date needed. Did not show. Called company which turned out to be broker from another state. When called he stated movers were delayed. Showed up 2 hours later. Movers revealed they got job off of Craigslist an hour earlier. The guys were great (thank goodness!) but I don't appreciate broker sending me non-employee, non-vetted people. Next time I know to verify if local company. My bad....

The software wasn't working and they weren't able to send me my updated contract, the people working there were great but Uhaul's software and system were clearly a problem.

Donnie H.I made a reservation online for a drive up unit several months prior to move-in. I called closer to time to change the move in date a few days earlier…no one had record of my reservation even though I had email confirmation. She made me a new reservation. I called day of move in because we were unable to do the online checkin….again mo reservation to be found. She made another reservation and I gave payment. Got to the facility only to find out we had been given an upstairs unit…which was unacceptable as I requested a drive up unit. There was a drive up unit available although much larger than we needed, more expensive and filthy.

Lori B.We had a very frustrating experience with our U-haul trailer return and check in for our storage units at the Rogers, AR 8th street location. When we arrived at the 8th St location, the GM, Tanner Theobald was not friendly, nor helpful in anyway whatsoever. He was not informative or even apologetic that their elevator was broken. I am disabled and had no choice but to drive to the Springdale, AR, due to the elevator being out of service and him having no 1st floor storage units available. This caused us to be charged late fees upon returning both of our trailers to our original drop off location in Rogers. We inquired about changing our drop off location to the Springdale location, since we were there anyway and were simply told "It's cost prohibitive. You'll need to return them to the Rogers location. Both locations were understaffed which caused us even more delays thus causing us to be even later. The gentleman that checked us in at the Springdale location was friendly and helpful, but failed to give us full access instructions, which again, caused us further delays since they were short staffed. The ONLY redeeming experience I received was from James, at the Rogers location. He was the only person that understood my predicament.

juan A.I need some help with an ongoing problem with U-Haul. I completely moved out of my storage unit on May 24, 2023. At that time, the customer representative assured me that he would stop my auto payment charge monthly charge after he checked my empty storage unit # 2263, Springdale, AR. However my Bank of America MasterCard showed a complete June charge for $65. I called your toll-free 800 number 3 times @ got two different people. The last one said the storage unit personnel would have to take care of that & transferred me. Someone answered the call but it dropped shortly thereafter. So I then went back into the Springdale office and asked for a credit back to my MasterCard and the stopping of the automatic payment charge for a unit that I was no longer in. The customer rep told me he could not do that, but the manager Miss Graham would have to do that. I called her cell phone twice and left two messages. Never received a call back, so returned to the Springdale office a second time. at that time I got a great customer representative who called a manager. The manager said he would stop the automatic payment enrollment that day and I would get either a check in the mail or a credit back on my MasterCard. I would appreciate a follow up on this problem as I have no other communication or charge back to my MasterCard. again, I moved out of number 2263 storage unit in Springdale, Arkansas on May 24, 2023 Thank you, Linda Thompson, 479-236-7187, Sunshinelt23@gmail.com

Definitely get more boxes than one if you are moving furniture. They are not huge, but the dimensions are listed on the website.

Samantha J.To be honest, the truck and car hauler were in good shape. However, when we went in to rent our car hauler on Sunday, July 2nd, there was only one employee working. He was responsible for returns, sales, cleaning and new rentals. When we arrived, we were fourth in line. When we left, there were customers behind us. It took us an hour to get our car hauler. Therefore, putting us behind an hour with our departure. I had to drive at night, which is something I don't not feel comfortable doing, therefore put my safety at risk. I will say, Quinn the employee who was working was wonderful! He was very overworked, yet he remained polite and professional throughout the entire process. However, no one needs to ever be put in that type of a working situation. If you want Uhaul to remain a top renter of transportation needs, you need to make sure you keep both your customers and your employees satisfied.

The manager cannot be reached. The units never get unlocked when they say they will. I was forced to accept a wrong unit because no one would do their job to go unlock the unit I originally requested, only to find while the movers were on the clock that the wrong unit was so short I couldn't fit my refrigerator inside. So I ended up having to pay the movers for an extra day of work and an extra day of a u-haul trailer due to your staff's failure in the first place. Your incompetence has now cost me at least $200 extra than it should have, not to mention the HOURS Ihave waited around for your staff to unlock doors half a day or a full day later than they said they would. I will strongly urge anyone I know NOT to ever rent from your facility again, for their financial well-being and sanity.

After almost 45 minutes and being told several times they did not have a unit for me, one was located but at a higher price than what was given to me in my reservation. The representative said they could not override the monthly rate (although paying for a year upfront). We settled on a 13th month free and paying the higher price although the 13th month was communicated as a benefit of paying the original amount for a year in my initial reservation. At no time did the manager, Emily Graham, take the time to help or even come out of her office to assist me or her employees that were struggling to correct the situation. A unit was finally located but I could not move in as it had to be cleaned out first. While the employees that actually tried to help me were very nice, they clearly did not know how to navigate the system to handle my situation. Most disappointing was the laziness of the manager and unwillingness to lift a finger to help. I would only recommend this location because of the employees on the floor and their willingness to help customers.

They had three high schoolers working. I had to wait two hours before I was assigned another storage unit, but because of it already being late hours I was made to open the back gates and lock the loaded truck in the back (a 24 hour hold). When I returned the next day the storage unit was twice as much a month as I requested. This place has no proper security, and nobody working that knows what they are doing.

Several items - 50 yr. old toy Tonka truck was missing, boxes with decorative pumpkins were gone. One day a LARGE box with only 2 pumpkins was there - two days later, box and items were gone. We have spent a great deal of money for this and we expected it to be safe and not plundered for garage sales, etc.

You then had to use the side door but yet there was only maybe two spots to park in to unload your stuff due to all the crap and trash laying around on the side. Trying to get through on the phones was the most ridiculous time consuming waste of time! I will never uhaul again and this place just takes the cake on crappy business!

Alicia S. | Online Move InThe sliding doors to enter were broken we were told to go to the back doors the ramp was blocked there was not easy access since the front doors were broken. Then we had to wait for the manager for 20 minutes to come and take a lock off the unit so we could put our stuff in there. The manager was not onsite because it was 6 pm looks like the employees should have had the proper keys to assist with lock removal. The employees that were there was nice and did apologize. It was just a very stressful day after driving 5 hours there and then having to wait for someone to come and remove a lock when there should have been keys left there.

I don't appreciate the hidden fees at all. However, the assistance I received from the on-site staff more than made up for the issues I had with the app. They also helped when I had problems with other customers while moving into the unit.

Then on September 3rd corporate took two months rent out of my checking account saying we were two months behind. But according to the general manager we were current and had never been behind otherwise we would have been charged $60 for two months late fees and $50 to reinstate our storage rental. That never happened so obviously the guy that took the two month payment didn't show it on the account with uhaul corporate.

Kimberly L. | Premières impressionsThe check in process was a joke, I was in line for over 20 minutes, then it took the person a long time to find my reservation, which I did online. I also purchased a lock, that was not there, the General Manage said he was going to go to another location across town and would have it in 30 minutes. When I returned after 4 hours, a new staff was there and i had to explain the situation two more times and no one still had the lock. Move my things in and still no lock. My husband had to run to Walmart for a lock and still made it back before the General Manager. Austin the final person that helped me was very nice and seemed genuinely sorry about all the issues and refunded my money for the lock. Nice facility, but the management was a joke. This was the worst customer experience I had in a long time. Moving should be the hardest part, but checking in to U-Haul was the hardest thing.
