Staffing in the Springdale, AR location seems to be lacking. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seen and rent 6 packing blankets. Return of blankets was much faster and efficient. All employees were courteous and helpful, however.

Truck had no power missing turn signal lens beat up just a peace of junk all around would not recommend to anybody short staffed only one person working had to run outside to check the truck in before they could check it out to me really poor ran place

There were only 2 people working and seven people waiting in line when I got to the store. When the girl told me where to park the trailer, I hod to go back in side and remind her I was still waiting out side for her to check me in. 3 days later I received a call from haul in OK that I had never turned in my trailer. My trailer wasn't checked into the system until 4 days after I turned it in. And I had to call back the office in OK so they would call the office in AR and have them do it. Not a well run store in Springdale

Only concern was that I was charged for 1 gallon of gas when I returned even though I already put in what was recommended on my paperwork before returning it and it was in the same spot as when I received it.

The only recommendation I have would be to shorten the safety chain length a bit, but I WAS towing a motorcycle trailer with a 2006 Scion xB. Other vehicles may not have to wrap as much to keep the chains from dragging. Excellent equipment, as always! Excellent customer service!

It was chaos. I had paid for a month but they removed me from the system and rented the unit to someone else. Trying to get it fixed was a nightmare. Management is completely unprofessional.

Great service! When I checked in the attendant asked me to back the trailer in. I asked if he could do it. He did it with a dolly, so I wouldn't have to back the trailer. Very much appreciated!

I rented a U-Haul for a move from Fayetteville, AR to KC over the busiest weekend for moves, Memorial Day. Picking up the truck was as smooth as expected and Robert Sweet took great care of us!

I felt sorry for manager - he was there all by himself because all his help had quit. He had to check someone in - then run out and hook up equipment, etc. There were probably 20 in line getting very impatient.

Customer service is awful. We had a reservation and were told they don't have that truck. Their solution was for us to go look at another location. I proposed they give us a truck at the reserved price. She said No can't do that. I said well you can't give us a reservation for a truck you don't have either. Then she said they have the truck but it is not back yet. We waited out in the heat. I saw the truck we had rented sitting in the parking lot. Still they made us wait for someone to return a truck. Then they gave us the key to the truck that had been sitting there the entire time and not the truck that was just returned. Very poor service.

I didn't return the truck to the Twin City Avenue Address. There was a Uhaul facility just around the corner from my house in Springdale, so it was returned at 1501 S. Thompson St.. in Springdale, AR. That facility was Very well organized and I was in and out in five minutes.

Agreeing with several others.. many of the staff were fine, tried to be helpful and process through our needs quickly. Any time I've rented equipment from this location many years ago.. pretty flawless transaction. They were always returned as good as or better than I got them in. Also paid every time. In my case this round, there were some things done that were not typical for rentals. I wasn't informed of the process being different, nor was anything done according to any other rentals I've had. I informed the staff that took care of my paperwork in the beginning, that I was going to pay with a different card when I got back. It was stated, that's not a problem, just remind us when you're done. We can do that. I took the same trip almost one month before this one, in a rental, totally different process. I was towing my personal trailer with this rental, I ended up having to replace a tire, which put me in a more strained financial situation, which didnt bother me right away. However, I signed a contract agreeing to bring said vehicle back to same location, and I was concerned that fuel money would be VERY tight (This trip was planned last minute and had to do with my elderly father trying to get things situated better) I called and asked about my payment, $1 401 info. and tried to find out their process, apparently.. I wasn't informed that the amount would be taken as a full payment, not a pre authorizing transaction. (Which actually the banks are obligated to pay, even if your account is under negative balance).. it's the law) This meant, the pre authorizing wouldn't fall off after a few days like most other experiences I've had with rentals. Therefor my account wouldn't have the buffer I was trying to keep in it, for such a long trip. I called customer service 4 or 5 times (some couldn't speak clearly enough to understand).. every one of them told me the same thing, the location I picked the truck up from, has the ability to fix this, they couldn't do this on there end. It's up to the location. Hence the manager of said location. When I spoke with said manager, I asked to have the card I was going to use, put in the file, so i could free up my cash from my account. He said we don't do that.. I'm already ½ way or more on my first 1500 mile run.. and he says the only way I can do that, is for you to bring the truck back here.. not true. I told him, that wasn't feasable. I offered to go to a local Uhaul to sort it out, he refused. The card I was using to pay in the end, was not my own, so using it for fuel and such couldn't work because it wasn't in my possession. I told him, the person would bring it to them, process it, put it on file so that my non pre authorized payment could be freed up. It's not hard to figure out. That's when the manager started tearing away at what little professionalism he might have had by starting in with customer insults.. He says to me, you shouldnt have planned on that money being useable anyway, sure.. I get it.. I didn't until I got into a difficult situation.. Then he says "Do you think I'm going to give you a $45k truck without any money?" Nevermind other companies rent cars worth more than that truck, on pre authorized transactions. Hmmm... he already had my payment of 1400+ and we would be adding the card I was going to use at the end anyway.. so, how would he have been out that money? He had double payment, which then he could've even done a partial refund, or all of the cash, because the card secured it. Thus I took it as the manager insinuating I was trying to steal his truck, and not let him have any money. After multiple scenarios being discussed, this particular manager did a fine job of being useless and snide. It would be my pleasure to see how he responds if in similar circumstances. His people skills are that of a rock, worthless. He had no care or concern about anything but his control and authority. He can run customers off if he wants to.. If uhaul doesn't mind an unrestrained manager, the public does. Now, to be very clear, the equipment was decent, mostly clean. I got a flat about ½ back, a uhaul representative contacted roadside services and I was on the road with a new tire within an hour. The truck driver of said service was a great help, he used his truck to block traffic and help me get my vintage vehicle on the trailer back out onto the highway. Doing so without getting into a bad situation because traffic was VERY heavy and much construction was happening near Delaware on I-95 A shout out to "Total Tire" from Delaware area. THANK YOU!! Uhaul did well.. The manager, well.. maybe he should consider taking up a career in a remote country where people skills don't matter. He obviously doesn't have any. Plenty of Uhaul locations to choose from.. avoid anything to do with this guy. You've been warned.

Computers and card readers always seem to be down at this location. There were eight people waiting in line. The staff were moving slowly and not even trying to hustle. The jobs are poorly designed - staff members are being asked to do too much in too many different places at the same time. When I pull in, there needs to be someone directing me to the equipment. They can start the hookup process while I go inside to check in. Check in shouldn't have to go through all the same steps that I just did on my phone.

There were many pads, that I had to drive some of them back to U-Haul. The moving company had 1 guy unloading my Ubox, which was impossible, so I felt like I have to help unload some of the stuff. IT is NOT okay to have 1 person do this job; at times, the Ubox was on the street unguarded.

When I rented the pickup truck they asked me estimated miles… I had already done the math for a guesstimate on what it would cost. Didn't even drive half those miles and was charged for the guesswork I done. I was 2 hrs late but there wasn't a fee for that in my receipt. I actually wasn't even able to use the truck for what I intended so not uhauls fault but it was a complete waste of money… ESPECIALLY WHEN I PAID FOR MILES I DODNT DRIVE

The people were very helpful and courteous. When I returned the vehicle, the person on duty helped get my lock off the truck. HOWEVER…. AVOID TRUCK #TM6823R â€"Heat from the engine on this vehicle POURS into the cab scorching feet and arms. Came from under the dash and console. I had to fold 2 shirts and place over my right foot the heat was so bad. The items in the floor of the truck had to be piled in the passenger seat. Nothing could stay in the cup holder area- the heat was so bad coming from under the dash. Had to drive with the windows down to circulate air. I paid a lot of money for a very poor quality product. If this vehicle were any other product, the company would offer compensation to the customer. We'll see.

The person at the counter couldn't answer our questions. Did not walk the U-Haul with us to check for damages. Advised us they no longer did that. However, when we turned it in, they did in fact check the unit.

Picked up 5' x 8' trailer AV9081B on 1/31/2022 Springdale Scheduled to drop it off in Newport, AR on 2/2/2022 Ice Storm hit - Returned trailer with permission to Newport on 2/7/2022. Trailer obviously stolen off the lot before it was checked in. Turned up in Geneva Ohio on 3/25/2022 - $1 473,15 debited from Carlyle checking account on 3/25/2022, charging 46 late days. Need help NOW correcting this UHaul mistake, PLEASE! $1 473,15 to be REFUNDED NOW!!!

The unit was not unlocked and there was no padlock in the unit as stated in my confirmation text. These were not a huge inconvenience, just thought I'd point it out that the process was not what was stated. Staff members were super helpful and polite.

The sliding doors to enter were broken we were told to go to the back doors the ramp was blocked there was not easy access since the front doors were broken. Then we had to wait for the manager for 20 minutes to come and take a lock off the unit so we could put our stuff in there. The manager was not onsite because it was 6 pm looks like the employees should have had the proper keys to assist with lock removal. The employees that were there was nice and did apologize. It was just a very stressful day after driving 5 hours there and then having to wait for someone to come and remove a lock when there should have been keys left there.

I did not find the app to be user-friendly at all, and I had to enlist the assistance of on-site representatives in an effort to complete the initial process. I don't appreciate the hidden fees at all. However, the assistance I received from the on-site staff more than made up for the issues I had with the app. They also helped when I had problems with other customers while moving into the unit.

Paid two months of rent in June for July and August. In September went to the facility and paid for September. Then on September 3rd corporate took two months rent out of my checking account saying we were two months behind. But according to the general manager we were current and had never been behind otherwise we would have been charged $60 for two months late fees and $50 to reinstate our storage rental. That never happened so obviously the guy that took the two month payment didn't show it on the account with uhaul corporate.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is I requested a storage unit located ground level because I'm storing large appliances and was told there was one available. when I checked in after paying I was informed it was upstairs. I'm a small woman and had to move them upstairs.

The check in process was a joke, I was in line for over 20 minutes, then it took the person a long time to find my reservation, which I did online. I also purchased a lock, that was not there, the General Manage said he was going to go to another location across town and would have it in 30 minutes. When I returned after 4 hours, a new staff was there and i had to explain the situation two more times and no one still had the lock. Move my things in and still no lock. My husband had to run to Walmart for a lock and still made it back before the General Manager. Austin the final person that helped me was very nice and seemed genuinely sorry about all the issues and refunded my money for the lock. Nice facility, but the management was a joke. This was the worst customer experience I had in a long time. Moving should be the hardest part, but checking in to U-Haul was the hardest thing.

My reservation was given to another customer and it took 45 minutes to get it straightened out. Additionally, the process for our storage unit was not well explained plus it wasn't even accessible when we initially wanted access.

I appreciate how helpful everyone was The manager went above and beyond to get our u-boxes delivered and picked up in a timely manner. The manager was always helpful when we came in. The staff were also attentive. They even helped me open my storage door that was too heavy for me. 'The u-boxes were a handy way to move from Oregon to Arkansas. The process took 6 months from the time we loaded 1st box (we used 3) until we just cleaned out storage unit this week. Thank you so much!

Overall great, there was a small disconnect between the U-Haul corporate site and the franchised location which the staff resolved promptly. - I didn't know I needed to check in first with my code then I could input the code by the entrance to gain access to the facility.

I came to rent another unit same size/temp control. New guy was trying to be helpful but: rented me non climate ,moved me out of my several year unit (he asked if I wanted to take care of nearing rental fee) but rented me another unit.Noticed charges were wrong and called.. spoke to manager, he said would take care of.. got notification but money difference has not hit account.. I think it's $5 and truthfully after moving things from one unit to another I am done dealing with it. Do not want anything' or want to cause trouble as life is too short

The workers did not know what they where doing. It was like they where running around with their heads cut off. There was a line out the door and the computers kept losing people's orders. I was charged twice for one thing.

I had to have a storage unit for abt 3 yrs. Once, someone moved things into a unit next to mine, and his stuff had roaches, and they got into my unit. I told the mgr, Freddie, and he went and got 2 bombs and set them off in my unit, then gave me another unit the same size to move my belongings to. It kept my belongings from getting infiltrated with roaches, and I am very grateful to him. This was at the U-Haul on Twin City Ave. in Springdale, AR.

Overall we had a good experience but this comment is directed to management and not the employees. The only downside was on our move in day. It was the 1st day of the month and there were only 2 people on staff to handle the crowd. It was a 30 45 minute wait in line, (at least) to get to the customer service rep and this was after a tiring cross county move. The staff did seem to answer everyone's questions and didn't rush to get to the next customer. I truly felt sorry for them as everyone (young, old and those with children) just needed to be waited on so they could get done and out of there. We were there 3+ hours past closing and the crew still had customers waiting and trucks to check in. I would assume that the first and end of months are ALWAYS hectic and feel the store should be fully staffed to provide a better experience for the customer as well as less stress for the staff.

On monday I did came to the store and someone askme how she can help me, I told her that i need to speak to MR Fredy, At that time i dint know who is mr Fredy but when i answered to the nice lady; everyone silence for a minute, after i see no one wants to talk to me, i ask: " is he here" then Fredy starts to talk to me , he was there sit doing something at his computer, he talk to me unfriendly and stated that he is attending an other customer on the computer, ( I asking somebody from customer service call me please to do more details 4795309427) . again all this stared saturday when i went to the store and ask my refouns of 2 months that i pay in advance, an employee call Fredy and after the employee finish the calling, he said to me tha his boss told that the sstore do not have a sistem to refound my money and that star the problem saturday and finish last monday. Please have someone call me , in order this bad experience do not happened to an other customers

Everyone seemed nice, but they very obviously didn't know what they were doing. One lady didn't know which application to use to start a reservation for a storage unit and tried to rent me a truck before being corrected by a coworker. Another lady called her district manager three separate times while we were there for things that should have been able to be handled on site. She also didn't know where my storage unit was. By the time she found a map, I had already found my unit myself. The third employee who set up my unit seemed confused as well during the reservation process and had open wounds on his dirty hands, which is concerning during the COVID-19 pandemic. All the people here need to be better trained and more competent in their duties. I understand there were two people in front of me, but it should not have been a 30 minute wait time to be served. The employees seemed perpetually confused, and struggled to do basic tasks like unlocking trucks and printing copies of contracts. I spent two hours at Uhaul, when I should have spent 45 minutes, max. I'm a college student, so my parents drove five hours to help me pack. My experience here put us so far behind schedule that we had to spend an extra night traveling back home. The facility was nice, but the customer service was terrible. I would never rent anything in store from these people again. The only bright side was the free month of rent.

This is a nice facility and upgraded the surveillance system since my unit was vandalized - which is very good. The staff is nice, but the UHaul res system needs major upgrading. Expect a wait.
