The manager on duty (John) was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. He's a real asset to U-Haul. I added an extra rating star because of the staff helpfulness and attitude. I also think U-Haul provides good value. I used the app for self-check-in and checkout. The app was cleverly designed and worked without a glitch but tedious, there were too many steps to the process, and I think the counter service would have been much easier and faster. The windshield on the van I rented was hazy on the inside and the seats did not have a clean appearance. It simply needed cleaning. The vehicle was fairly new and seemed to be in generally good mechanical condition. Overall I think it was a good value.Larry F.

The guy who did the paperwork for us was very helpful! He told us about the fuel guage and how to easily figure out how to fill up the exact number of gallons. No one has ever done this with us before.EUGENE Z.

My experience at the office was fine. The associates were helpful. My issue is with cleaning off the snow on the vehicle. I noticed the van has snow coming off the roof and a driver pulled ahead of me to let me know about the snow pieces flying off the roof. When the snow initially fell it was light, but overnight it hardened. Not the best driving condition to leave it on the roof. It didn't melt, it only hardened.VANESSA H.
The staff at this U-Haul on the date and time of my move-in deserve recognition! This could have been an average review, and they made it Excellent instead. When I got to this facility, I had reserved a storage unit. The staff informed me that the elevators were broken in an extremely kind and empathetic manner and that I would unfortunately have to carry my stuff up the back stairwell 3 flights to the 3rd floor where my storage unit was. They compensated me for this graciously and more than fairly and were extremely empathetic, sensitive, and kind about it throughout the entire process. Even as I was waiting on them to work through my situation with me, they were continuing this behavior with each and every customer that I saw walk in that day. This staff deserves recognition! This is the type of customer service that makes a company and provides a good name for a company, especially during times like these. U-Haul has provided me with great optimism and reason to be a long time customer and I can assure this company that the benefit of a long time customer like me with referrals because of service like this will far outweighs the compensation that was provided due to inadequate facilities to provide easy access to the storage unit when unloading a truck. Thank you U-Haul! I want to personally say thank you and happy new year to each of the staff working that day, you all deserve great credit and recognition for what you did for me and please know that this does not go unnoticed and means a lot. Believe vehicle cleanliness ,ie washed so damage could be more accurately determined on exterior needs other alternatives than Yes or No, (such as fair, acceptable , good , excellent ,as our vehicle exterior was fair in exterior cleanliness.,while good interior cleanliness).Granted, we reserved Van nite before and 8:30 am pick up in cold weather that may or may not have made exterior washing possible as wash station was outside. As usual this location has been the most pleasant and professional experience to visit. I am a frequent renter weekly and through out the years renting from this location has been pleasant the staff here make this process so simple and efficient thank you again.CESAR D.
The Uhaul App is useless I was charged for blankets and a dolly which I never received. I was told that the manager of this site would remove these charges and she never did. The online site says these items will be in the truck when you pick it up. They were not there and I was charged for them nevertheless. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone. Ever.LUKE I.
I've always rented trucks from this location, never had a problem until my last experience, upon my arrival and after being processed at the front desk, the manager of the day gave me the keys to my truck I opened the door and it was filthy dirty, went back to the front desk again and requested a new one, manager apologized and gave me the keys to another truck that was in a worst condition that the first one (dirty and had dents and scratches all over) (pictures of the damage and filthiness of the truck been uploaded via Uhaul app) so I went back to the manager while he was personally cleaning the first truck himself, he apologized again and explained to me (man to man) that they were short staffed and they have no other trucks available and if I could just take the second truck he gave me he would reimburse me for inconvenience (take care of me) but he never did. Other then that the truck was operational, no problems driving it for whatever I needed it for, this Happiness Guaranteed Clame is to simply express how unhappy I was with the connection of truck and the way the staff handled themselves to massage the situation because except for the manager of the day who did jumped in the other two guys were having lunch eating at the front desk showing no intentions or care for me at all.Salem M.

Clean the van and have more than 1/4 tank. The van was filthy and if any gas came back short That's a scam because it's $5/gallon plus $30 got under a quarter.JAMES G.

The truck was very old and not well maintained. The ignition key was faulty. It was very difficult to start. The truck wheels were also not alined and was not driving straight. The photos of the condition I had to approve before renting was of a brand new truck, not of the current condition-the photos need to be updated. There should also be a note that the wheels and gas tank eat into the interior space for the trucks. The personnel at this location were nice, informative and good to work with.JONATHAN G.

You changed my reservation 9 minutes after the scheduled pick-up to have the uhaul returned to a different state from what I originally planned. All was worked out in the end but what was meant to be a move at 9am became a move at 10:45 bc we had to go to another location to get a truck that we could drop off at our original drop-off.BERTRAMSEIFFER O.

They charged me $40 inspite of me returning the vehicle 1:30 hours before the scheduled return time. The received person told it will calculate based on actuals. But the end time reported in the receipt is updated as 30 minutes later than I have returned the vehicle. He even told no need to report to the office desk.SUJITH M.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The trucks are clean and well maintained. The facility is well located. My only suggestion would be to stay open longer hours if that was at all possible. It is such a difference returning a truck when the facility is open versus when it is closed.RONALDALBERT S.

Oil Change warning was on the entire time, outside of the truck was filthy. No store personnel came out to inspect truck as I picked it up, i.e. check lights, look for damage. I did this all myself and took pictures. Pick up and drop off were quick but staff seemed uninterested in helping. Four personnel were just standing around talking with each other. Also, sign on door said masks are mandatory in store and not one of the staff were wearing one, only me.DANIEL G.

The staff there was amazing. As someone who has experienced a series of tragedies over the last year, I cannot explain how heartwarming it is to have staff that isn't just professional, but kind and attentive, when you are moving and/or storing your life due to unforeseen circumstances. This is what is sorely needed. Jose and his people define what the experience should be for storage. Not "you are lucky to have us for storage", but "we are grateful to have you as a client." Joese Sanchez and the head female manager there are "WOW" I have had the worse experience with every storage company but these two I don't even have the words for it. They made me feel like a member of their own family. The service,the attention to detail, the passion to help me and listen to me was incredible and that head woman manger is GREAT like DOPE.Every time she sees me she gives me a hug. I was going through a divorce and a separation from my daughter that daily hug made my day and she had no idea how healing it was. I wonder if she even knows she hugs me.She is just great. The level of service I got from there I know for a fact they didn't acquire that from Uhaul it came from somewhere else. Jose Sanchez Is an absolute Angel.I don't even want to leave Uhaul. I have told a lot of my friends to go there.There was a time I couldn't get access to my clothes. The storage was closed by the city for nearly 4 months. I had no clothes to wear to go to my interview and they could not let me in at all.It what a tough situation and I needed to get to that job interview and my suits were in that storage. I don't know how her and Jose pulled it off I got a rebate and I was able to buy a suit and tie for that interview and I got the job.
