We were not informed at the time of booking that the rental fee per km is higher on the weekends. When we reserved the truck online for Friday December 20th, the website said the fee would be $0.89 per km. However, once we returned the truck we were told we were charged $1.43 per km. Our customer service representative, Simar, was very rude and impatient. Customers should be informed at the time of booking of rates and fees to prevent surprises when it comes time to pay.

1. The person who checked me in upon rental return was very polite and excellent at his job. 2. However, upon check-out the Fuel Gauge was recorded as 3/8 full when it was at less then zero, or totally dry. Other than that, it was a good service.

The only thing I am disappointed about was the pick up. I stood in line for 58 minutes and was so mad I canceled my rental because I knew I would be late, then my son said no don't cancel and we took it anyway and of course were late getting back and the app would not work (I didn't know how to work it) so couldn't log in. I also think the fuel charges are unfair. When I pick up a truck, it should be full and so I can leave it full. It is very difficult to put the correct amount of fuel in with such an inaccurate system and it would seem that you are the only winner there whether the renter puts in the gas or is charged for it. Other than that, the people at this location are excellent. Thank you

Terrible service. I didn't even take the truck off the lot and they refused to refund my money. They charged me $167 with tax for a truck that did not leave their lot. I will never return to this location. Unprofessional from beginning to end.

I had a truck k with a leaky roof that no one was aware of I had 35 plus boxes get soaked where I had to repack them bot sure what has been damaged it put me back k at least two days I missed two days of work due to it the two guys hired to help move spent 8 hours re and re boxes at 25 dollars an hour the first truck I rented had such a bad exhaust leak you could t drive with the window open and all the manager said he could do was offer me a 20 dollar VIP card I am out well over 1000 dollars due to a terrible truck rental and a manager who didnt seem to care

I had originally rented a 5 by 9 trailer when I got there in the morning the man suggested I get a motorcycle trailer as I am hauling a motorcycle he did not tell me that certain motorcycles would not load up onto the ramp so when I got to my destination try to load my motorcycle app my motorcycle bottomed out trying to go up the ramp did damage to the bottom of my motorcycle and I was unable to use the trailer and when I explained this to the office they just basically said that's my problem wouldn't credit me back the money which I felt that they should have since I never used the trailer it was a waste of time a waste of money and I will never Rent from this location again. They are a large company and for 27.50 they should have refunded me my money especially since I use the trailer they suggested and it didn't work and I was unable to use it

from the start everything went wrong - we ordered a pull trailer for 48 hours so we would not be rushed - arrived to be told it had a broken axle, we ordered a dolly - they have none available. Someone should have called us! They had no trucks available either!!! We ended up with a cargo van, incurred mileage charges and made 5 trips instead of 2 and had to have the van back in 24 hours. We gave them our credit card to secure the rental and advised them we would pay debit when we returned the equipment. We returned the van on time, go to pay debit the guy says don't worry about it we charged your credit card! Seriously, there was absolutely nothing good to say about this experience and had we not had numerous previous stellar experiences with Lynn at the UHaul in Richmond we would never go back to any UHaul ever- this location in Surrey is doing a HUGE disservice to the UHaul name.

I would recommend everyone uses this location. It was fast and friendly. I have rented in the past at other locations and have never received service like this before. My morning wasn't so good due to confusion at 3 locations I was sent to. Just as I was about to go to another company an friend recommended this location. I am so happy I went.

Even though it was crazy busy when I went to pick up my truck all the staff were polite and very helpful. I have now delt at this location twice and will continue to do so if required and am more than pleased to recommend them to anyone who asks about a good place to rent a truck. Thanks to all of you

There was no direction on where to park the trucks and where the line was to check in with someone. People were driving ahead of us and we were not acknowledged by staff at all. We left the truck where everyone was else was leaving theirs and went into the office where there was a giant line. I tried to do the online drop-off but the system wouldn't connect with my camera no matter what I tried. I then tried on my dad's phone but the location services wouldn't work even though I changed everything in his settings to share his location. We waited in the line and when we finally saw someone they told us we had to see someone outside first. This was very frustrating because no one acknowledged us outside. We had to actually flag someone down. It was a very frustrating process because we were exhausted from moving and it was freezing outside.

I ordered a 6x12 trailer for one day one way. When confirming order I was told only a 5x8 for 1 way.. picked up trailer in Surrey. Used it then went to return to Abbotsford and told it was a in town rental. I had to take it back to Surrey. Wasted 3 hrs dealing with this and wasted fuel.

I rented a 9’ cargo van - the inside of the vehicle smelt of wet dog but I didn’t think much of it and carried on. Later I noticed the cargo floor had wet patches which smelt of pee. I told this to the attendant helping me but he was not able to take action right away. Said he would let management know. Also, I arrived at 9 am for my 9 am pick up but had to line up until 9:30 before I got my paperwork. It was a busy Sunday morning but there was only 1 staff working, helping what looked like 10-12 customers in line.

online afterhours return function does not work. Didn’t even recognize that I had a rental to return. Sat in the parking lot for a 1/2 hour on hold with no help. The location at 13425 King George Blvd Surrey BC never answered their phone the next morning for me to tell them I dropped the trailer off that night anyway. Kept getting transferred to the call center. While I’m trying to explain what happened to the call center rep for the 3rd time, another rep from the call center calls me. I miss the call and they leave a message complaining to me that I didn’t return it and some poor family has no rental now. Turns out the call center also couldn’t get through to the surrey location. Very poor communication between each other and inoperable online afterhours return system. At least they refunded the $20 fee for returning afterhours without using the online system, but I had to complain about it to get it done. If I hadn’t said anything, they would have just charged me the penalty, thinking I never tried. Rediculous.
