well, I was there on Monday, Nov 11 and someone hit by car on your parking lot. Now I have to deal w/that problem, the manager did call the police and got a police report and were very helpful. To bring your truck back and have to deal with that, I have a problem w/that. And whatever the police left on the car, someone took it off. You would think one of U-Haul employees would have taken it and give it to us, instead of having the police put it on the car, just out of respect for your customers. I will think twice parking on your lot. Overall the services "excellent."

I was blindsided with the after-hours drop off fee. I rent from this location 6-8 times a year (for the last 10 years) and I have NEVER had a $20 after-hours drop off fee apply. I was not told of the change. The ability to drop off after hours is the reason I use this Uhaul location, AND it is essential to my business. I have not been able to get in contact with the manager of this location (after multiple phone calls), to discuss how he is going to keep my business. (or simply how to avoid this outrageous change in policy)

The man who helped me at the counter was very kind and helpful. HOWEVER, the wait time was shockingly long (each customer took a minimum of 20 minutes to be helped) and there was a woman (she seemed like a manager of sorts) walking around and asking to help people who would then berate the people she asked to help with rude comments and a general attitude of clearly not wanting to help and being annoyed by the customer's presence. It took an hour and 15 minutes to pick up my rental truck - this is absolutely unacceptable. I was late for meeting my movers and therefore lost money because I had to pay them for than time. I tried to use the online pickup feature, but couldn't because it wasn't made clear to me that I would need the secondary verification materials. I didn't have my passport on me (because why would I simply to pick up a rental truck?), I couldn't get a family member or friend to answer their phone (because it's 2019 and no one answers their phones... also, it was during working hours - people are at work. Additionally, the rep didn't give me adequate time to let me get in touch with someone who could answer - the rep cut me off after he/she tried to call twice), and there is no way I'm going to authorize uhaul to call my employer and waste their time to verify my employment for a rental transaction that will total less than $100 (how could Uhaul even ask for this??) I've had good experiences with Uhaul in the past and this one really shocked me - after this experience, I will look elsewhere for my rental truck needs.

when someone makes a reservation make sure you have what they reserved when they come pick it up. Ask if they are okay using an older model truck that doesn't have backup cam before just giving it to them.

I initially ordered a 26ft. But was told that I couldn't keep the truck for 24 hours because I accidentally clicked 12hours. However out of all the years I have used uhaul i know I was able to use the truck for 24 hours. I was forced to downgrade to another truck and they sent me to another store! I was overcharged on mileage. I calculated how much mileage I used from uhaul to the old house was 11.3 miles from the old house to the new house was 9.8 miles and from the new house to uhaul was 4.2 miles for a total of 25.3! No more than 26 miles! My only regret is that I didn't take a picture of the odometer...Sadly, I didn't think they would be dishonest either!

The manager was extremely helpful and the first gentleman who started to help me at the counter seem to be more interested in what was going on with the others been taking care of my order the young woman who finished my order and return my trailer provided me with excellent service was extremely knowledgeable in her job and was more concerned about getting my order taken care of then what was going on around her so I would like to say thank you both to the manager and the young woman who took care of me not knowing their names makes it hard but the gentleman that was on the counter should not be on the counter it was obvious that he did not like his job thank you Bill Wagner

I was charged an extra fee for just dropping my keys off. Was unaware that I could “now use mobile drop off”. I’m sorry but this was the worst experience Ever. Mainly because of Capitol heights location but this was the cherry on top. I plan to never be back. Just being honest.

They called to deliver the unit on a different day than scheduled. They were supposed to deliver between 9:30a-11:30a. They didn’t arrive until 12:30 & Unit wasn’t delivered until 5p. Pickup was late.

Driver, Maurice, was awesome and very polite. One suggestion - you should get trailer hitch locks. Easy to potentially have someone come and hook up the trailer and tow away the entire box!
