I could not find a gas station so I was told by this local they would charge $60. I then received a bill for $95 for gas and another $30 service charge after I arrived back home in Syracuse. I refuse to pay that amount after the original $60 quote.

The workers there are easy to deal with and they always have me in-and-out very fast. Junior didn't even give me a chance to get out of my truck. He had the trailer on hooked and inspected before I was able to take my seat belt off. Very good crew and I look forward to doing business with them again.

Person behind desk was not friendly, truck smelled like smoke, brakes were noticeably very bad. When I took the truck back he told me that’s the truck I get and there wasn’t anything he could do, I was driving it across county. After being on hold for 10 minutes with UHaul he finally called me over to give me a new truck, he could have saved me 10 minutes of my time.. The return place was 20 miles from my destination and they were clueless when I dropped it off. I would not rent from this UHaull again and would not recommend this location to anyone.

The light on the trailer wasn't working when we picked it up. The guy helping us took it off, rehooked it up and then drilled new holes in the housing on the bumper. 9 hours into our trip the light broke right off while we were driving down the highway. Roadside assistance was very helpful and another dealer in Indiana gave us a light and duct taped it on for us. We were very grateful for their help but I was not happy at all with the original location. They should have given us a different trailer to begin with.

I recieved notification that my location was not actually my "preferred" location while I was already there. My "reservation" was for 1030am. I got this notification at 10:17. Also, the change in location made my trips longer adding mileage and gas I did not expect. What is the point of having online reservations if they are not honored? Additionally, one of the clerks at the Kenmore location was extremely rude. For some reason my master card "couldn't" be used. Thankfully my boyfriend was with me and he paid for it. But this was not something he anticipated doing. This entire experience was a nightmare. Moving is one of the most stressful situations in a person's life and Uhaul made it even more stressful.

there are maybe 5 customer parking spots which were all in use both when we picked up the van and when we dropped it off. No way to leave a car there during the rental, had to park in a non-parking area just to do the paperwork

Staff didn't seem to want to be bothered. Signs said to pull in to spot and stay with equipment. No one came, so I went inside. Girl at desk said we consider e-mail a valid receipt. When I persisted, she checked out the equipement and got me a receipt.

The rep never made eye contact, spoke like a robot and sped read the myriad of details while his ear clutched the cigarette he couldn't wait to get to. Other than that the experience was positive. Maybe put a little more emphasis on friendly interaction with the customer. I felt like I was at the D M V.

Employee needed to improve his customer services skills. He was rather snarky and rude considering I had never rented with uhaul before and did not know how to go about doing it. All of his responses were matter of factly and he even commented that he doubted we would have the uhaul back within a certain time. Love uhaul now but disliked that customer service rep.

First they ignored me while I was waiting with the uhaul in the designated waiting spot. Then I went in to get the employees’ attention and the woman who “helped” me was rude and impatient. I asked her to come out and inspect the vehicle while I was there (she had originally told me to leave and that they’d inspect the vehicle later), and then when she did come out to inspect the vehicle she was very rude.

Im been charged for a dumpster fee for something I didn't leave in the truck because it's not mines and we swept and cleaned the back of the truck before returning it and I don't own or ever owned a pushing bag which was what was left in the truck according to the employees ..Also the employees were very rude slumped up on the counter, they were very unprofessional.

When I return the last two units, there is a sign that says basically stay here and wait for us. Well no one ever shows. They are inside. You have to go to them. Please remove that sign. Other than that every thing was fantastic, We rent from you a couple of time a year.

The Morning people were GREAT very helpful and friendly. However when we returned the truck around 4:30 the staff had changed and were very different. First we parked the truck at the drop off spot and the sign said to remain in the vehicle. No one came out so went inside it looked like both were asleep one was standing other sitting at counter in front of the TV clearly showing the drop off spot, when I told her we were sitting out there she said she hadn't seen us pull in seemed like she was doing us a favor talking to us. She said we would get an email receipt and when I asked for a ball park figure she seemed like it was a huge task that I had asked of her. Both had zero personalities. They were completely different from the 2 morning people. Maybe even a smile would have been nice and a thank you offered. I have used UHaul and this location before first time I have had anything negative to say. Hope comments help.

I've been a customer for years and I was 3 hours late on returning it is what they say but I never signed or initialed anything and they didn't call me or nothing I was real busy and I'm retired and they automatically charged me an extra day in which one thing U-Haul has never done to me. I was going to call the attorney general and send them photocopies where I didn't a agree or sign anything concerning being charged an extra day I think it was a complete unprofessional conduct of business practices and I felt strongly and thought you should know what they did. Employee was rude and had no personality. Seems like she needs a new job, something that makes her happy. When we returned the vehicle , they grabbed the keys and said You’re good. We didn’t realized they charged us for more fuel until we got the email. We had put fuel in before we returned it. I would never use or recommend U-Haul again. There are to many other companies around.

After hours drop off was not a satisfactory experience. It was cold and windy and I didn't have my account information (password) with me. I called the toll free number and was told to change my password. I explained that I was not in a position to do that using my small phone...I gave the customer service rep my contract number and it took five minutes for her to find my information. She then told me to start the process over with a new password...I just put the key in the box and left. My ending experience was not very good.

More specific instructions on how to proceed after Express check-in. I thought it was truckshare 24/7 but it was actually counter. It took me 5 minutes or so to figure this out. The exhausted yet very efficient clerk had me out the door in 20 minutes, which was nice. Prices were fair, about $50 for a quick move of some furnitures. Thank you, would recommend to a friend.

Over the last few years my Husband and I have moved around the US a bit. Faithfully, using Uhaul as a source for moving equipment. I have not had any bad experiences outside of New York State. I have however noticed a marked decrease in Customer service when working with the UHaul locations in New York. Let me restate that no Customer service. Nasty representatives, sitting slouched down and acting as if I was an inconvenience to their paycheck. This type of service was observed in the Military Road facility in Niagara Falls, as well as the Kenmore Ave, Tonawanda office (The young girl was particularly nasty. We also rented a trailer out of a branch on Sheridan drive. You really need to investigate this behavior it really was horrible.

Get rid of the female employee who was on duty at the time I picked up my rental. It was a little confusing for me using my phone to go through the process of getting my rental truck. The girl was not only not helpful getting me through the phone instructions but rude to me when I joked “does everyone have a hard time with this?” She said, “no, just you.” I have breathing issues yet had to walk back and forth without her making it easier to complete the phone instructions.

Our pickup was cancelled when we were unable to get their call. We were unaware we needed to confirm pickup. It was stressful getting the container picked up. The property was sold and the container was in the driveway. Fortunately the location on Niagara Falls Blvd came for it & the situation was resolved. Kenmore location needs more staff.. Everything else went smoothly & as planned.

The woman who answered the phone had a horrible attitude. I went to the garage which is located near the store. This was not open. When I called the store to see why she was rude. Apparently, she has answered that particular question a few too many times in the past. She was rude to the gentleman who helped me while he was helping me. She has a poor attitude.
