I could not find a gas station so I was told by this local they would charge $60. I then received a bill for $95 for gas and another $30 service charge after I arrived back home in Syracuse. I refuse to pay that amount after the original $60 quote.

The workers there are easy to deal with and they always have me in-and-out very fast. Junior didn't even give me a chance to get out of my truck. He had the trailer on hooked and inspected before I was able to take my seat belt off. Very good crew and I look forward to doing business with them again.

Person behind desk was not friendly, truck smelled like smoke, brakes were noticeably very bad. When I took the truck back he told me that’s the truck I get and there wasn’t anything he could do, I was driving it across county. After being on hold for 10 minutes with UHaul he finally called me over to give me a new truck, he could have saved me 10 minutes of my time.. The return place was 20 miles from my destination and they were clueless when I dropped it off. I would not rent from this UHaull again and would not recommend this location to anyone.

The light on the trailer wasn't working when we picked it up. The guy helping us took it off, rehooked it up and then drilled new holes in the housing on the bumper. 9 hours into our trip the light broke right off while we were driving down the highway. Roadside assistance was very helpful and another dealer in Indiana gave us a light and duct taped it on for us. We were very grateful for their help but I was not happy at all with the original location. They should have given us a different trailer to begin with.

I recieved notification that my location was not actually my "preferred" location while I was already there. My "reservation" was for 1030am. I got this notification at 10:17. Also, the change in location made my trips longer adding mileage and gas I did not expect. What is the point of having online reservations if they are not honored? Additionally, one of the clerks at the Kenmore location was extremely rude. For some reason my master card "couldn't" be used. Thankfully my boyfriend was with me and he paid for it. But this was not something he anticipated doing. This entire experience was a nightmare. Moving is one of the most stressful situations in a person's life and Uhaul made it even more stressful.

there are maybe 5 customer parking spots which were all in use both when we picked up the van and when we dropped it off. No way to leave a car there during the rental, had to park in a non-parking area just to do the paperwork

Staff didn't seem to want to be bothered. Signs said to pull in to spot and stay with equipment. No one came, so I went inside. Girl at desk said we consider e-mail a valid receipt. When I persisted, she checked out the equipement and got me a receipt.

The rep never made eye contact, spoke like a robot and sped read the myriad of details while his ear clutched the cigarette he couldn't wait to get to. Other than that the experience was positive. Maybe put a little more emphasis on friendly interaction with the customer. I felt like I was at the D M V.
