Thank you for your help; the only issue was confirming the dates of final pick up - and confirming the logistics of the drop off location (which was a steep driveway) Ultimately, everything worked out fine, but it required many phone calls to ensure this was the case!

I have use this facility location multiple times for storage and moving supplies. Every employee has gone out of their way to be helpful - they are courteous, trustworthy, professional, and always make me feel like they care about making my experience special. Justin and his team consistently go above and beyond what's expected.

Truck was older and very noisy the gate was stuck and very hard to open the ramp was stuck and it took some doing to release the fuel charge at the end was unnecessary since the person told me I had a qt tank and wrote done 3/4 tank. Next time will go to Penske

I ordered a truck in Glen rock and when I got there I was told my location was changed. I was then told my alternate location was cancelled because I went where my reservation was made. I then had to drive 30 minutes and accept a smaller cargo van and make 3 trips to get the job done. I would never ever rent from uhaul again.

When I went to return the truck the owner had an attitude because I filled up the tank to full when it was given to me at 3/4 so I wanted to know how does uhaul handle these types of situations. I asked if I get money back for filling up the tank. He is very unprofessional I will never return to this location. We are responsible to fill up the tank to where it was given to us and when you go Over and ask it's a problem? This made me feel extremely uncomfortable I will never recommend this location to anyone.

when I went to pick up the truck I ordered, they did not have a truck for me. After going back and forth they gave me a smaller truck and charged me MORE!! this is unexceptable terrible i had to take the smaller truck because I had hired help waiting for me at my house All my stuff did not fit on that truck POOR SERVICE

Communication was lacking. We weren't told they would be closed when we returned the truck and where we could find the box to return the keys. They also didn't tell us we had to note the odometer afterwards. That info was in a text I received while unloading the truck. I was busy, I ignored it. If they would have told me to make sure I read the text, I would have. They put 10 extra miles on the odometer so I had to call and get a refund. All this could have been avoided with a little communication.

Geeze there's not too much more you can do to improve on perfection, hmm 樂 let's see… All the guys that work there are super!!! Maybe if you could clone Justin Lancaster the manager of the Totowa location that would be a start!? Maybe on-site help to do some heavy lifting?

Check-in and move-in were easy. I did notice what looked like rodent droppings on the floor, and I noticed some poison or traps set out in the area. Hope that does not signal a rodent problem.

The return process is very complicated, it required downloading pictures, site might be not responding and internet might be not available, customers should be informed on the return process before they take the truck.

Rented a 4x8 Utility for 10 days. Picking up the rental was a simple and straight forward process. The person at the location helped me to hook it up. I returned the rental one day earlier than planned. Even though I was charged for the full 10 day period initially, the issue was rectified when pointed out the error. I would recommend this place.

The one MAJOR thing I would improve is that - I rented a truck 4 days in a row, why EACH day they needed to make a copy of my drivers license, when it was already on file with the first rental?? Additionally, after the 3rd rental a "thank you" should be given (perhaps coupons from local vendors, or a discount on rental if used within a certain period of time), it would be a nice gesture!

Don't know how you can improve upon perfection? But I just wanted to say all of your employees are totally totally wonderful from in person locations to help on the phone  they are somehow so attentive well trained with all the correct information ℹ helpful courteous and the best people! So if you can give your staff and your people something more, bonuses incentives time off, shares in the company or some kind of additional rewards to let them know you appreciate them it would make me truly happy  to know they are taken care of and uplifted even more! Good morning I first went to rent a U-Haul on Grand Street in Paterson New Jersey customer service was terrible there the young ladies were unprofessional they did not take time to greet you they would talk and smart to me and my wife and playing with their nails and laughing at us and we got a truck that was not good condition we bought the truck right back and they told us that's all they had and they were laughing and said do you want it or not while they were playing with their nails so I came back home and got a call from Inglewood U-Haul asked me why I didn't pick up the truck and I told him why they referred me to Totowa Jersey where I had to go and get a truck it was far out the area I believe these young women need to be properly trained again to act professionally they were like two chicks hanging out on the Block

The U-Haul Storage facility in Totowa NJ is very clean and very well managed, e.g., very efficient, helpful staff. Manager Justin L. is very patient, friendly, and always willing to accommodate requests if possible. Justin went out of his way to help locate & assign a different unit in the facility to make our move-in/storage access more convenient. High praise to Justin!!!

I employed this service for over a year to house my product inventory for my business when my warehouse closed during the pandemic. The facility is accessible, clean and secure. The owners and staff were on site at all times. This team was professional, responsive and always reasonable. I definitely recommend this location.

Gave help when needed but, the second you have a life threatening emergency come up and you can't pay them... forget it. I'm thankful for the help Delford gave but I DEFINITELY will NOT be using this facility again!!! I'd much rather rent out a garage from an unknown person, in the worst part of town, than rent from them. Prices are crazy, fees are even worse. 10 000 000 % learned my lesson. Thank you, but never again.

Observation: There was metal fragments (screws) on the ground within the loading /unloading dock, should be visually checked daily to prevent unforseen issue like a flat on tires of customers.

Getting an access card so i didn't have to type the security code each time was more complicated than it needed to be. Desk employee did not seem familiar at all with the online process. Not all access panels to disarm the unit seem to work - Alarm went off twice.

Kind of confusing getting into the building and disarming your unit at first but once you figure it out it is convenient and easy. I know this facility is fairly new and it shows, it is clean and organized. I loved that there was a lock waiting for me inside, and the on-line check in was extremely easy and quick. Highly recommend this facility, awesome location, and great price compared to others in the area. Love the free first month with one way U-Haul truck rental too!

Other than my working debit card not working there, the move in was ok. But today went I went to bring more items, there were a bunch of guys spray painting furniture inside the closed garage. It smells bad enough in the area from factories but now all my stuff smells like paint. Called the office. Don't think they did anything about it.

I had a temperature control unit. Various times it was 77+ degrees. The light was out in my space for 4 months. I told the office twice to fix. The elevator was jerking at times going up. It needed to be looked at. The bathrooms were not clean enough. My unit had a bolt sticking out of the wall. Lastly when they went to the card system no one contacted me. The alarm kept going off. I went to the front to ask why is the alarm sounding. That's when they explained the system and gave me a card?

I needed a 10X10 unit and there were none available. Justin and his team were able to help me by giving me 2 5X10s at the same cost of the 10X10. This facility is the cleanest storage facility I have ever used. The loading dock is great for me because I rent decor for events and home staging. I appreciate how helpful everyone in the office is all the time.

The person who was taking care of me for the storage did not bring me to it so the zip ties were not off of it when I was bringing my storage stuff. So had to wait for someone to cut the zip ties. My address is incorrect

We booked one unit online but when we arrived the floor looked like it had rust at one point and the wall looked as though it had been wet. We called through the service speaker and were immediately given another unit to switch to. The worker we spoke to was polite and quick to address our issue.

The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable about the storage process. Justin & Ariel answered all my questions. Ariel guided me through the entry scanning process and showed how to use the locks, etc. The hours are great, the site is clean and well maintained.

I rented a 10x10x10 online and when I arrived at the facility was told they only had 2- 5x 10's next to each other. I felt I was misled and my items did not all fit. If my friend who was with me did not mention it they weren't even going to tell me I needed locks which I had to buy an extra because I now needed 2

My only complaint was that the systems were down and I had to go in very early the next day to get access to the unit. Since the truck needed to be returned. Overall your staff, especially Devonte, was beyond helpful and accommodating.

Although your storage location was very helpful and driven by customer satisfaction, I wish it can say the same about the truck rental location in toledo, ohio. Unfortunately the employee whom attended us during pick up was not representative of Uhaul customer satisfaction protocols and values. Jessica Anderson was that employee whom attended me, a Moving Center General Manager. She was aggressive, rude, not very cordial, poor listener, confrontational and disregarded my information and feedback pertaining to my reservation. Her understanding of the reservation and contract did not coincide with mine understanding. While i continued to debate with Ms Anderson my son contacted your location and was able to confirm my understanding of the contract which Jessica was not understanding and acknowledging. To finish, thanks again for your service while storing our property.

Worst experience ever. Rented a 10x15 space on the 3rd floor when I got there the elevator was not working waited 2 hours for the maintenance to fix it, they never showed up they told me to come back when I got back shop was closed and I had no choice but to leave all my personal belongings out in the hallway cause I already had returned the truck I rented from them. No one ever called me back that night.
