Your staff was helpful and kind. But, the online portion of the rental was VERY Inconvenient. I had a time budget for this move held up by unnecessary online gas and vehicle checks. The return of the vehicle was worse, out there in the empty lot at night trying to figure out the online return. I was exhausted, and scared, then had to worry about additional charges due to the faulty app/online return process. Just let us drop the key and leave like we used to.

Customer service was poor as well as late drop off method. I feel I should have been informed of the early closing. I was unable to log into the app. As the last employee was leaving, I asked him to help. He stated the instructions were on the wall

Although the facility was very busy for the amount of staff working there, they were all professional. The tech who installed the hitch was excellent and the work was top notch. Unfortunately they don't have a waiting room, so you have to plan ahead to either drop off your vehicle or do like I did and go out to breakfast and walk to a few stores. It takes about 3 hours. All in all I highly recommend Auburn U-Haul for your hitch needs and truck rentals.

The truck was filthy! It smelled like animal urine and there was white animal hair under the seats. Our couch that we had in the back of the truck is ruined because it smells so badly of animal urine. Horrible experience!

The truck was completely disgusting and caused all my belongings to stink afterwards. The staff member I worked with had no idea how the in town package worked. Causing me to pay more than I needed. I was very disappointed in the location and the staff.

While the place was busy with people waiting and only one worker on Saturday morning, the gentleman at the counter was not flustered and moved everyone along quickly, professionally and was extremely friendly and positive. When returning the vehicle the two ladies were attentive and checked me back in fast and I was on my way with a smile and no hitches. It was costlier than I expected , the truck was a bit old and banged up, but served its purpose and I had no issues.

I was supposed to be picking up truck in Windham. I was not home when they called 45 minutes before pick-up time, to inform me that I would not have a truck available to me. I made the trip to Windham for nothing. Not Impressed. This problem was not the Auburn locations fault, they were accommodating when I was able to rebook with them.

When a customer asks to be contacted thru whatever means, use that means, text, phone call, email, etc, and don't use another way to contact them. Uhaul recently called me to advise me that I would not have a trailer available on the following Sunday at 9 am. My phone does not always work at my house and that is why I ask for text messaging instead of a phone call.

Uhaul quoted half the price that I ended up being charged. They also moved my location 3 times the day before pick up resulting in me having to pay for 40 extra miles which originally they offered to refund but then changed their minds. The movers that I paid for through Uhaul never showed up so I ended up loading the entire uhaul myself.

The sign said to stay in my equipment and an associate would be over to help me check out. I waited 10 minutes in the truck before I decided to just walk in where I found two associates sitting at the front desk on their phones.

Arrived to pickup the truck and my reservation was completely wrong. They didn't have the truck I reserved, I had to pay double because my reservation said I was dropping it off at the same location when that's not what I put down on my original reservation. I ended up dropping it off back at the same location anyway and still got charged the double price.

The original truck reserved for me had a stuck side door, the receptionist was able to quickly adjust my reservation to another available vehicle, which turned out to be almost brand new! Zero issues on the drive, quick return process. My only issue was personally I found the parking lot difficult to navigate, but that's just me!

Inspect the equipment. My trailer had major tire issues that caused us to have to move our belongings into another trailer. If the equipment had been inspected/maintained this would not have happened.

Made the reservation over the which was easy,I get to the location and the two people were rude and ignorant. Barely said a word to.me. I'm a black man who spent 22years in the army. 3 deployments. I get treated like a second class citizen at your uhaul. A white lady comes and it's good morning and total respect. I lived in many areas across the US. Auburn Me is by far the most racist ignorant place I've ever been. I willl take my rental needs to places where a black man can get treated with respect.

The only complaint that I have is that the truck had been smoked in and I thought that you had a no smoking policy but either way the deodorant sprayed in the cab area along with the stale smoke smell made the move almost unbearable. I actually drove the entire time with the windows down all the way to air out the cab.

Wouldn't ever use U-Haul again. Location in Maine Auburn was very poor. And your company as a whole, you guys need to improve and properly measure your trailers and inform the person before they take it of the true fit size the dimensions were way off, and what you advertise.. barely highly unlikely I'll use U-Haul again. I took that trailer an hour and 45 minutes in One Direction and back because I couldn't use it at all and I couldn't even get a refund on it. Piss poor company the lady was nice on the phone the next day but not helpful to my liking in wanting a refund regardless I took your guises trailer or not because I didn't use it and it was worthless and a waste of time and I have a full size truck and I went through $100 in gas never had problems with y'all myself friends or family before until now I come from management also maybe take a peek deeper into who's your business face and who's working cause they seemed really unhappy with the job and very unqualified for the job

I stopped by the day before we went to pick up the truck over in New Hampshire to ask about dropping the truck off after hours, since we knew it would be late. The fellow here was very helpful and explained what we should do. Ive rented from this location before - really professional and on top of things.

Triple charged and have had to fight to even get woman to listen, she was very condescending, I never received the dolly I paid for, ended up with a broken foot because of this issue, I was charged for 100 miles of usage but only used 57, I was charged for a 15 ft truck but was told by Monica as a customer satisfaction due to a previous bad experience, that I would receive the 15 ft truck for the price of 9 ft van that I had ordered and only pay for the 9ft van. Now they wait 7 days to process my order and then the rude woman I spoke with today told me that they do not return the money till 5 days after the bill is processed, and I have 10 business days to file any discrepancy. Wow! That is a little sketchy since 10 day will have gone by before I receive the refund that she claims is coming back to me, although she refuses to tell me how much the refund was for. So now I wait till June 4th for the refund to post. And by that time it will be way past the 10 day descepancy period. Not sure but I think this is illegal and plan to reach out to my attorney immediately.

Most staff were very helpful, personable. One was indifferent when I closed the unit. He wasn't rude, just didn't have strong customer service and people skills which I value at all businesses. The facility was very convenient but with an end unit, the exterior wall had large gaps and o the outside. There was pest control inside the unit which gave some sense of security. The grounds were difficult to navigate as there were always vehicles parked partially blocking some access. It's a busy uhaul center so I get it, but the systems in place to manage it are not conducive to customer access and experience.

The ceiling was falling in. Most times I went I couldn't access because all the trucks were lined up in front of the unit. At the end, I was assaulted by my ex boyfriend and his son and asked for an extra week to get my personal belongings. I was replied with a very cold, "you had plenty of time".

I had my storage unit for almost 5 years I believe, and I have to say the customer service was HORRIBLE!!! The workers were rude, including one of the store managers your agreement states, and you pay for 24 hour accessibility, however the Uhaul are parked in front of the units at night so no, you don't have access you may be able to squeeze your body in to get to unit but you certainly can't bring a truck in. If I was even a minute late with my payment I would receive rude, and threatening emails, calls. My overall experience was just aweful with my storage unit and I will never recommend Uhaul for storage needs. I do want to say that Becky, Ariel, the tall older man have FANTASTIC customer service skills!!!

The one complaint I have is that there were a significant number of mouse droppings all through my boxes of books. I didn't move the furniture myself and haven't had a chance to look at it, so don't know if there are holes in the cushions. I'll try to get to that soon. Your options only allow for a Yes or a No; I don't know yet if I would recommend this site to someone else. I'm certainly not thrilled with mice having access.

I reserved a unit online almost a week in advance. When I got to the storage they said they didn't have the size I reserved... I was offered 2 smaller units for more money... if there was anywhere else with units I wouldn't not use uhaul again.

I was there for six months instead of giving me a discount my price went up from my monthly payment I was never told how to use the key card but yet they kept complaining to me that the alarms was Going off but still never taught me how to use the key card

I rented a storage unit and had nothing but terrible customer service. I emailed customer service and the corporate email with no responses. Finally on the day I decided to move my belongings to another company, there was a nice lady there and she actually listened to my complaints and took good care of me. The customer service was terrible, the storage unit did not seal well so my items were completely covered in road dirt and I could not access my unit at my leisure because they park their trucks in front of the units. They told me to give them notice. So I went all the way out of my way a few days before I would be there with movers and let them know the day and time I would be there. I was repeatedly promised the trucks would not be there. Sure enough the trucks were there. Went out of my way for nothing. The Manager at that location lacks any and all customer service skills. I have worked in customer service and as a customer service manager for 32 years and can feel confident in telling you he has no skills to be in that position working with your customers

When I went to my storage unit there were trucks lined up in front of the unit. The customer service rep gave us a hard time and just about refused to move the trucks. This happened twice. The customer service is very poor to the point almost everyone is rude. There is also something wrong with the mechanism on my unit we had to pry open the lock every time we went there. I advised the staff and was ignored every time. I also was not offered a refund on the time I have left not renting the unit when I payed until April 9th.

Very long wait to get waited on. Both guys said I will be back in a second and went outside. I waited for quite a while and had to go out and get them. One was just smoking. I think he was the manager

Ice is extremely bad, fell twice and have not received any follow up! Truck had problems and was huge hazard driving!

They triple charged my credit card for one truck!! Didn’t check the truck in when I dropped it off and said “ we’ll take the keys and send you and email with the amount charged” I never got the email, only a triple charge for the truck In my bank account.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this facility. The staff including Josh, and the two younger gentlemen (didn't get their names) have been accommodating and pleasant each of the four times I've dealt with them. I even had someone back into my truck on accident (not staff), and they were quick to act, making sure if needed, a claim would be filed. Things must've changed there, since many past online reviews are negative. My only complaint is the lot is too small for all those trucks, it's a cluster f***.

Unit was clean, prices are higher than others, the unit door was stuck, and it took me making 4 trips inside and getting "tips" from the staff on how to open it before anyone just came out to help.

You charged me aCcount for a month's rent on May 16 2020 after I had all my belongings removed on May 15, 2020 Why? So, obviously you are attempting to take something that does not belong to you which is call STEALING. And I had called personally to speak with the manger day's prior to let him know all my belongings.would be removed prior to the end date on my one month storage rental. So you were duly informed and away. .

Where to start. Thank god it was a free month because we rented a uhaul trailer cross country or I never would have lasted the month. There are soooo many trucks parked everywhere it is hard to drive around or park your vehicle. There was always a truck parked in front of all one side of the units. You had to call to say please move the trucks so I can load and unload stuff. Very inconvenient. We were going to sign on for a year but it is too busy in that lot and way too many headaches and besides we found a unit in town for half the price uhaul quoted me! So overall we were not happy with U-Haul!!

The storage units look a bit old and in need of some repair, but they were clean and there was no issues with water or any damage. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Unit:clean, good and spacious. A bit slippery but still good. Representative: good, helpful, overworked. Needs a helper so he can give 100℅ focus on customers.
