Easier places to tie off to in your trailers to secure loads so they don't slide around Or get damage. The spots on the side of the trailer are too small to fit a strap in I had to tie pieces of rope through the holes to use a ratchet strap trap is very small hole to go through. The safety chains need to be Adjustable secured to the vehicle Is easier. The Safety chains were too long and come unhooked while towing the trailer.

NIJIE B.I've rented trucks many times, the general rule is you have a FULL tank on pickup and FILL the tank before drop off. I only used the truck for one local trip, total 6 miles. I topped it off anyway, thinking it might be a gallon. Was surprised when I pumped 5,5 gallons (at $4,15/ gallon). I mentioned it to the guy on drop off, he said actually, when I picked it up, I was one tick below full and only needed to fill it to that mark - I asked how I was supposed to do that with the engine off and the gauge not visible from the pump. His comment was, better to put too much than not enough- my reply was I just paid $26 for the last guy's gas. He said they do not credit. What happened to requiring tanks be full on drop off? I lost $20 in this deal.

Keith L.We disagree with whomever checked the gas gauge as we definitely left over 1/4 tank as required but after leaving got email that we got charged a fuel service fee for being under the 1/4 tank. Lesson learned for if there is a next time to review the gas gauge with whomever checks it.

They wanna claim they took the picture of the scratch at 6:45 but yet they called me at 7:11 to see where I was, the truck wasn't even there at 645 and when I did return it, it was dark so I wanna see this so called scratch. Shitbags over here in auburn, I was calm until the batch at the counter wanted to be rude and disrespectful. I'm a business owner and I will never recommend auburn uhaul to anyone, you guys are a real joke!

Christopher W.Rented at 645 PM for 24 hrs only to discover location closed at 5pm. My wife and I are over the age of 70 and unable to unhitch the 12 foot travel after hours. Had to hire someone to help us do that or keep the trailer until 7 am the next day. The lady on the phone would not allow us to return it between 7 and 9 am. We returned the trailer the date is was due with the help of a man we hired.

NENDE M.At least we were able to get $100 refund on the locking mechanism but are still dissatisfied that we had to delay our trip due to them not getting the hitch in to be installed for us. Having to go elsewhere put us late getting out of our apartment.

erik P.The one complaint I have is that there were a significant number of mouse droppings all through my boxes of books. I didn't move the furniture myself and haven't had a chance to look at it, so don't know if there are holes in the cushions. I'll try to get to that soon. Your options only allow for a Yes or a No; I don't know yet if I would recommend this site to someone else. I'm certainly not thrilled with mice having access.

crystal b. | Premières impressionsThe only way to drive out of this Uhaul parking lot is to turn right onto Center Street (a meridian blocks left turns) and Uhaul is located right AT the corner where traffic comes from around the corner. The area set up makes that turning traffic out of sight until they are actually in the turn and are moving on Center. Also, if that turning traffic has a green light their speed is very fast around that corner. BUT I have noticed for some time (and always forgotten to mention to the people in the store when I return trucks because turning in to return a truck is easy) that the portable SIGN about, I am guessing the size, 4 -6feet wide and 4-5 ft. tall (currently the sign says something about hiring) they have set up in the narrow area between the edge of the sidewalk and mixed in with the front ends of the trucks lined up on display, BLOCKS the view of right lane Center St. traffic until I'm pulled up waiting almost in the line of that traffic!!! Every time I stop for traffic before turning, I notice the sign BLOCKS the view of oncoming traffic in the right hand lane--fast moving traffic on Center St. from around the corner, and I have to nose the front edge of the truck right up almost into traffic and lean way forward against the steering wheel, to see that oncoming traffic!!! If they moved the sign beyond the driveway, to the right hand side of the driveway, where there is a tree it would not block the left hand view of oncoming traffic when turning right out of the driveway, yet the drivers of that passing traffic could still see the advertising on the sign. Either they could move it, or raise the sign up high enough on poles so that it is above the height of truck cabs and drivers' view; leaving a clean view under the sign; and we drivers would have an unobstructed view of the turning traffic speeding our way. Note I am 5'4†and rent a truck monthly. Maybe tall people sit so high they can see over the sign; or other drivers rent trucks so rarely it doesn't matter to them. But for me it blocks the view of turning cars in that fast moving lane. Thanks, And the new Chevrolet pickup truck is GREAT and had great mileage yesterday; and with the over $4 gas price that was a bonus for me!!!!!

Stephan G.I called to switch my drop off location. The person on the phone seemed nice but nothing was ever changed. Turned into a shit show the next morning. You should call these people yourselves on occasion to see if they are really doing their jobs. Because the lady I spoke with was not!
MATTHEW H.The 15 footer I rented smelled like a combination of dirty hoarders house and stale cigarette smoke. Also, you advertise $29,95 for the rental but charged me $75! You charge 0,85c a mile for mileage but then I have to make sure I replace all the gas I use or you will charge me another $30!!!?!? That's bullshit!

HEATHER SHYE B.Snow on truck was not cleaned off truck good enough, person at counter said gas was at quarter of a tank but was actually almost on E and had to put 50 dollars of gas in it and kept the receipt as proof and when telling person at counter about it when dropping it off he said there was not much he could do because I did not take a picture of the gas gauge even though I showed the receipt with the price and TIME of gas fill up, person at counter also did not tell us we had to grab our own dolly but was able to get that refunded. I am mainly frustrated about spending overall 60 dollars on gas for it when I should not have and then not getting compensated for it even though I had receipt proof.

Finally on the day I decided to move my belongings to another company, there was a nice lady there and she actually listened to my complaints and took good care of me. The customer service was terrible, the storage unit did not seal well so my items were completely covered in road dirt and I could not access my unit at my leisure because they park their trucks in front of the units. They told me to give them notice. So I went all the way out of my way a few days before I would be there with movers and let them know the day and time I would be there. I was repeatedly promised the trucks would not be there. Sure enough the trucks were there. Went out of my way for nothing. The Manager at that location lacks any and all customer service skills. I have worked in customer service and as a customer service manager for 32 years and can feel confident in telling you he has no skills to be in that position working with your customers

This happened twice. The customer service is very poor to the point almost everyone is rude. There is also something wrong with the mechanism on my unit we had to pry open the lock every time we went there. I advised the staff and was ignored every time. I also was not offered a refund on the time I have left not renting the unit when I payed until April 9th.

The staff including Josh, and the two younger gentlemen (didn't get their names) have been accommodating and pleasant each of the four times I've dealt with them. I even had someone back into my truck on accident (not staff), and they were quick to act, making sure if needed, a claim would be filed. Things must've changed there, since many past online reviews are negative. My only complaint is the lot is too small for all those trucks, it's a cluster f***.

There are soooo many trucks parked everywhere it is hard to drive around or park your vehicle. There was always a truck parked in front of all one side of the units. You had to call to say please move the trucks so I can load and unload stuff. Very inconvenient. We were going to sign on for a year but it is too busy in that lot and way too many headaches and besides we found a unit in town for half the price uhaul quoted me! So overall we were not happy with U-Haul!!
