The truck I rented had probably 20+ dents dings scratches on literally every single side of the truck. I shouldn't have to spend the first 25 min with the truck taking pics of each of these to cover my own ass so I don't possibly get blamed for one of them. At this point fix this truck or stop renting it. I shouldn't have to do so much work just to get it off the lot

The whole process of renting and returning took longer than the project I need the rental for. I was never able to complete the photo portion of the vehicle and gas/mileage. This is the second time I have used this location in the past 6 months and both times there were delays due to the technology.

ALEXANDER LMy truck was very dirty and smelled like someone had left vomit in it. I didn't smell it until a few minutes after leaving the location. If I didn't plan on only 60-90 minutes of rental, I would have had to turn around and ask for a clean vehicle without terrible aromas. I just didn't have the extra time. It made the whole experience terrible. I told the young woman who received the truck when I returned it but she seemed wholly unconcerned. Also, there was a big cardboard advertisement sign in the windscreen that I had to remove. Seems like someone should have removed that before renting out the van. These two things plus the fact that there was only a half tank of gas on pickup was really strike three. Why rent out vehicles that clearly haven't been set up for a new rental since the last one? Very disappointing.

DRAGAN MMake the process for getting a truck that you've already reserved faster. I did the check in online and uploaded my driver's license. Then, I had to do it again at the location because the image was"blurry". What I uploaded was a high quality photograph. So, either the employee didn't know what she was talking about or your system is doing something strange. Also, I waited in line for close to 20 min for I've got in front of me to get a truck. Why does it take that long? It should be much easier. Study Enterprise or something. They're fast and professional.

Joseph AThe employee seemed as if every question I asked inconvenienced her. I was told to walk around the vehicle taking photos in 15-degree weather (below freezing) I asked if this was necessary because i bought the wrap-around insurance and I was on a tight schedule to get to my event. She said, "Yes." Ok, no problem. After going through the laborious process of navigating the very-slow website while shivering in the cold, the uploads kept failing. I spent 15 minutes trying over and over by myself (the employee did not walk around the vehicle with me), and then I walked back to the office across the huge lot to inform her of this to which she replied, "Oh it doesn't matter you have the insurance." Then when I went to take the vehicle, it was parked in by two other vehicles, leaving me a grand total of 12 inches to make a 40 point turn to get out of the space it was in. It took an additional 30 minutes to check out than any of the other 100 U-hauls my company has rented in the past 12 years and it was supposed to be an expedited contactless rental. Then when I returned the vehicle (the same employee received the keys) I matched the fuel gauge EXACTLY to the photo I took of it and what was reflected on the rental agreement, I was still charged a REDICULOUS amount for 2 more gallons of fuel. This is theft, and while $14 is not worth my time this is a very shady business practice and we will never be returning. Answer me this, I have a receipt for the 2 gallons I put in for the 17 miles we drove. They charged me for 2 more gallons, are you telling me the fuel rating for that van is only 4 miles to the gallon in the city? Our cargo weighed 150 lbs and I was the only person in the car. I've also rented dozens of this model vehicle from U-haul in the past decade (same name, number, and email - look me up). This facility is stealing from its customers. Do with that what you will.
RANDALL WThe automatic door to storage facility wasn't operable-it would only open automatically from the inside. As we were emptying our locker, we continually locked ourselves out each time we exited to load the truck. Each time we had to walk back to the office to ask them to open the door. Finally, I put a small object in the path of the door to keep it permanently open so we could finish up. At some point near the completion of our work, a U-Haul employee appeared in the distance shouting at us to take the object away or else it would destroy the doors and he'd have to charge me $5 000 to fix it. He didn't approach us and ask us to please remove the object-he screamed from a distance. Finally he said that staff could keep the doors open permanently while we worked, but we were finished. I am grateful for U-Haul's offer of a free month of storage, but the attitude of the employee spoiled the otherwise positive experience.

MELANIE HThe music and unidentified loud ticking sound in the office were obnoxious. Despite a picture uploaded prior to my visit and despite the physical DL in hand, the rep focused on the system inexplicably saying my DL was expired. It wasn't. But she made it a thing and we argued for several minutes before she manually changed her system. She even turned her screen to show me. And I pointed out the picture on the screen that showed exactly what the DL in my hand showed. There is no signage saying that customers cannot park in the giant UHaul lot. When I asked, I was told I had to immediately move the car or I would not get my rental. I asked about the line when I returned; what if there were three or four people? The rep said she'd take me right away. I moved the car. I returned. She did not take me right away. The van itself had mirrors that were very difficult to focus. The rubbery insulation around the back right door was not fixed and made closing the door awkward. There was no windshield wiper fluid in the van. There was a pen rolling around somewhere in the dash that I couldn't find. I had to call from the return bay to get any service when I was done. Having said all this, I have had worse experiences with rentals.
Steven SWhen we walked in, the worker (female, mid-late 20s working Tuesday closing shift) asked if we needed a key or if we had a reservation. I said I reserved online and needed to come inside to pick up a key. Instead of giving me a key, she told me to call the 1-800 number. I explained, once again, I simply needed a key from her. She continued to tell me to download the app, and/or call 1-800. Finally, we found another worker (male, mid 20s) in the parking lot and asked him for help. He was able to give us a key. I am amazed by the incompetence of the woman, and a 5 minute task took about 25.
Philip SUnfortunately, the back lift gate was jammed in the open position. When I went to close it I had to work to free the latch which was stuck because the door had gone up too far. This was the way it was when I rented it and it happened one other time during the rental. Most people would not have been able to free it and it was actually a potentially dangerous situation.

ROBERT WI'm actually planning to return to this location and speak with management. I tried to order a van through mobile but someone else's name was attached to my phone number. ( we shared the same last name ). The first guy I talked to was very nice and apologized for the mix up because they ( Uhual staff ) gave her my van order. I was then told by this man that they HAD to charge me for Insurance but they would reimburse me when we brought the van back. Once I brought the Van back this new lady at the desk told me they COULD NOT give me my money back for insurance and she became very rude very fast. She told me it was my fault that MY PHONE NUMBER was attached to someone else name. And there was nothing she could do about that. She continued to talk down to me as if I was lying to her. Im a service worker. So I give so much patience to other service workers. NEVER. And truly. I MEAN NEVER. Have I been so disgusted with this lady handled this situation. Uhual basically stole $30 from me. Then I was talked down to and was told to suck it up and take it as a learning experience. Even tho SOMEONE GAVE MY VAN TO THE WRONG PERSON AND PUT THEIR ACCOUNT UNDER MY PHONE NUMBER.

JOHN IMy experience at U Haul was less than okay. When first arriving to the U-Haul location to pick up my 15' truck through the app, I was met with a vehicle with a dead battery. I then called support for them to offer me a 10' truck at a different location in which I had to Uber to. After getting there I picked up the truck and return to my home. The movers informed me that I would need a 15' truck. After returning to the location where I got the 10'(which support instructed me to Return it to) they informed me they had no 15' trucks left and to bring it to another location which they then told me they I should not have done that and could not assist and should've returned the truck back to the location the 10' was from. I was charged an extra large fee by the movers as well as valuable time because of this whole inconvenience. After 3,5 hours of ordeals and headaches I finally got a 15' truck.

Other than that, my experience was good. It was clean and I really appreciated the dollys to move my mattress and other furniture.

You will NEVER be able to drive your car in for access to your locker because they always have the entrance blocked with trucks. The ancient latch on the door was damaged so I couldn't get my lock open and the mgr, Rodney Smith, left me sitting in the locker area for 30 mins while he hung out with buddies at the ends the lot and then when he finally came, said it was my fault for renting the locker if it didn't work (how was I supposed to know??), then said it was my lock. The lock THEY provide you for paying $110 for a small, 4x8x4 crappy locker. He was horrible and rude! I do have to say though, that the other employees at the desk were all very nice and helpful. I would never rent here again nor even rent a truck after this experience!

It was never made clear that after hours you need to enter the code on one pad then re enter it on another. On the wall above the keypad is a sign that reads you need a swipe card after hours. It's my opinion that there needs to be clear instructions on acces using key pad after hours. I had called you hall after hours because I ordered a unit at church street new bed mass location on line. And I new I wouldn't get there before they closed. I did get a pass code then couldn't get in simply because the sign read you need a swipe card after hours and the rep we talked to on the phone never mentioned that we had to enter the code on 1 pad 1st then the other so my belongings had to stay loaded on the trucks until the morning. Once there the workers explained that all we needed to do was enter code on each pad. That would have been great but the sign never said that. It says you need a swipe card for after hours access.

Everything about your services screams "ghetto". I won't be doing business with you ever again and I never used the storage. I found a better and cleaner alternative.

I was left stranded with your vehicle overnight with all my belongings at risk of being stolen. I was not the only one having issues last night. When I arrived to my storage there were many disgruntled uhaul renters that could not get to their vehicles. This has been an extremely terrible experience and I am going to cancel my storage subscription for a a company that actually values their customers and their time. This has been an awful experience. This online check in system you have is extremely disorganized. I am not sure I'll be doing business with you ever again after this experience.

After booking a reservation with another storage provider, I get a call saying the reservation with the UHaul unit was actually confirmed, and I could have moved in the prior day. Shows that there's terrible communication between the staff and poor understanding of the booking/reservation system in that respect. Furthermore, the Uhaul staff confused my move in date of 7/29 to 7/27, which is not what I wanted. I thus now have to pay for two days (7/28 and 7/27) where I am paying but can't use the storage because I am not yet in town. Pretty subpar experience.

They are actually the opposite of welcoming. The place isn't well maintained. It does the brand a disservice. One lady eventually warmed up and was nice. The space was big enough for these items however the door to access that storage room was too small to fit anything through?? Had to leave my mattresses sitting out because we were there after hours after traveling all day. Very misleading image you should fix that probably

Clean facility , The washrooms, U-Haul bag , U-Haul car charger, U-Haul. Locks, ect. I appreciate the. Respect. That U-Haul workers have for one another , and how well they work together to service all of the customers. When I leave after they service me; I can tell they're. Working hard and Doing they're Best. The Best customer service experience ever. Moving is Hard enough.. You can tell the Uhaul workers... I appreciate the service , I appreciate the kindness

My storage unit has a few spider webs and a rusty hole in the ceiling but doesn't look like anything is leaking through it so it doesn't bother me that much. I would recommend this storage facility to a friend/family.

Not only was this disgusting but the rats ruined an Ethan Allen chair & got into my boxes leaving poop everywhere!! Numerous requests to address this problem were ignored!! Calls & emails weren't returned. And upon my checkout I found out THAT NO NOTES WERE MADE of my complaints. This Rasheed should be fired!! I'm filing a claim against Uhaul for physical damage to my things & will seek emotional damages as well!! FURTHER, there have been homeless people hanging out at the entrance to this facility for YEARS!!!
