You need more staff at the store opening. I realize it is tough to schedule, but that is when the location is busiest. The person staffing the store was courteous, professional, knew the job and was fast. They were not in a position to provide the service U-Haul advertises. Why does UHaul talk about recycling and then one of their agents just throws cardboard and moving boxes in the trash instead of recycling? I confirmed they were trash containers and not recycling. The furniture dolly I rented was not available when I arrived. When I asked the gentleman if there was something similar available, or if he could help me find another location that had one, he told me it â€œwasn't his problem.â€ The dolly was extremely important for my move. Also, after I checked out, I had to wait an hour for them to move a van that was blocking in the truck they gave me. It made me late for my move. There's no excuse for having to wait an extra hour because they blocked in your truck.JAMES G.
The gentleman with the glasses that took care of me needs to nicer customers. He was huffing and puffing with an African couple that couldn't speak much English a kind explanation could have helped but he treated them like they were stupid . I return the vehicle with some blankets in the back because a friend was meeting me to picmd and the blankets . Instead of coming to me while I was still waiting on my friend they charged 25 $. Cleaning fee. My friend picked up the blankets and I waiting an extra 30 minutes for Rasheed to get off the phone yo process the 25,00 $ fefund for the cleaning fee. Your employees need to learn how to treat people with a friendly attitude. This is not the first time I've dealt with gentleman in the glasses. It's seems that he's alway too bothered to attend to customers in a friendly manner. There's many kind friendly people who wants to work. I suggest hiring them.Patric Chavez C.

One of the poorest levels of service I've ever received. Astounded at the lack of care. I rented a truck with the mobile pick-up option, because of time constraints regarding a time sensitive move. Arrive at facility to see that the truck is double parked. Check in the facility, where a woman barks at me for the key number, as if I should have this memorized? Then I'm ghosted for the next 30 minutes, where I have to speak to an attendant outside as to what's going on -where he tells me they can't find my keys, and they'll probably just give me a new truck in a few minutes. So I wait inside for half an hour, where nobody will talk to me or give me an update. The facility is empty of customers, mind you. To top it all off, I receive the truck with less than a half a tank of gas. I show the attendant this, he says bring it back at the same level. I anticipate this being an issue, so I take a couple pictures of the gauge (which I've already emailed on). I put over 20 $in gas back in the tank to match the level, then I receive an additional gas charge? Simply astounded. Never using U-Haul again.Anthony V.

Was told I had to buy one of there locks for my storage unit that was suppose to be free, I had just purchased a new lock for the truck. Didn't need and should not have had to buy another one. Extremely long wait times on all phones as well as calling individual centers, 1st location on Gravois were clueless at uhaul.BOBBY V.

Your app sucks. I have been renting usuals with the same drivers license for over a decade. It almost always asks to verify me and always delays my day. I had to go in and convert my order to an in person pick up. You should be able to save verifications for the same driver on the same account multiple times.JOSHUA Y.

Dirty blankets and scattered change was in the back of the vehicle. Soda was spilled and dried in the front dash. I would recommend checking vehicles for cleanliness and perhaps lock them overnight as I think someone had been in the cargo area sleeping perhaps.Travis S.

The people are nice and communicative. Vehicles clean and work well. Beware The process of returning after hours. Their uhaul.com based process did not work for me, very frustrating standing in the dark late at nite trying over and over... and then getting double charged in the morning, then lots of time on hold with corporate getting it fixed...John L.

Service was accommodating and helpful. Truck inside window was gross. Obviously hadn't been cleaned and made it difficult to see when driving into the sun. Key ignition was busted. Took about a dozen tries to get it to engage the starter. Knob on the driver's window was busted. Made rolling and unrolling difficult.RONALD R.

For one - none of the staff told us we would be billed for two days for not doing the check in from phone and for two - none of the staff told us we should check in by phone if dropping off in the evening after closing I will be looking at alternatives hence forth and telling other people about this unjust policy of U-haul You all should do a lot better very disappointed and feel totally ripped off - all the agents i talked to were entirely callous as wellBRIAN H.

When selecting my unit online the image of the space I purchased showed two Mattresses and an exercise bike and boxes. The space was big enough for these items however the door to access that storage room was too small to fit anything through?? The overall move-in experience has been great. Reserving online was a breeze and the storage unit was ready to go when I arrived at the facility. My storage unit has a few spider webs and a rusty hole in the ceiling but doesn't look like anything is leaking through it so it doesn't bother me that much.
