JOSEPH EInterior windows and dash of the truck need cleaning
MIOSOTIS DEquipment could have been in a little better shape, front shocks were bad and engine made loud noise when driving slowly. Once going 60 on main roads it was fine.

ERIC XI made my online reservation to pick up & drop off in Macedon. Later I was told I'd need to pick up in Victor, adding 26 miles onto my trip. I spoke to reservations several times and they assured me I could drop off in Macedon. When we picked up the truck we were surprised to be told we MUST return the truck to Victor, adding ANOTHER 13 miles to trip. I asked several times if I could get a discount on the extra miles but was told it couldn't be done. It just added a lot of stress to an already stressful situation. If I had known when I was making the reservation online that I would need to drive so far out of my way with the truck I could have made different arrangements.

MICHAEL MStaff informed me they were about to "give my reservation away upon arrival" and then despite putting ample fuel in the vehicle at return they charged me for additional. Very disappointed, will never use UHaul again and will be filing claim with BBB.

RICHARD Hthe equipment that was rented was a bit confusing. Kinda difficult when not explained until the literal last minute. Having to fill the truck and drive a full truck 30 minutes to get the transport hooked was a bit frustrating.

SHAWN TMake sure that when you tell the customer the truck is all set and ready to go, that it really is all set and ready to go. We had to go back after getting home to pick up the blankets and Dollie's they forgot to put in the truck that we ordered. Already a busy day and was an inconvenience.

RICHARD HHelp the customer understand how to tie down the tires. Always point out the wheel wheel needs to be down before driving vehicle onto the transport so driver can exit their vehicle.
Ann DI think the app and the way it presents the info about the reservation is confusing and could be better organized on the various screens but I was able to confirm everything by calling U-Haul.

Damien HI'm not happy that the unit type I asked for was not provided and instead 2 units were provided. This was not helpful and not communicated to me. I'm unsure how or why this really happened. I was told that it was because they didn't have the unit chosen as an online check in choice, but that was not clearly stated and when I received a text to do it online, why would I think that would make a difference in what unit I was given? I'm super disappointed and not sure I will keep my stuff here after this month. Which makes more work for us now, and is very frustrating

CHARLES II returned the truck at 10 pm as scheduled. I had initially reserved the truck online until 8 pm. The staff asked if I wanna extend the time until 10 pm. I said I would like it if the cost will not change and she confirmed no change on the initial total, which was around $119. Now I see that I got charged $20 for "after work hours" drop off. This is unfair and unacceptable. I am quite disappointed due to this misleading information.

Peter DThe issues we had with this uhaul experience were relayed to this uhaul station. They were very understanding although couldn't help resolve these issues since a different uhaul location supplied the truck and trailer. They said they would put in a claim regarding this for us.
GRACE EThe vehicle I received did not have a full tank of gas, I am not sure why that was, but anyway I was asked to bring it back with the same level that it left with, which I did, but it more guesswork. I would have preferred it be full and bring it back full.

Matthew MFirst location in East Rochester very disappointing. The combination for car keys was not set properly. The excetional Amy at your customer service phone center guided us through the East Rochester nightmare and switched us to Victor.
Margaret Lwhen a time is set to do a hitch, you shouldn’t be told you are third in line and have to wait 6 and a half hours to get your hitch on.
randy wIt took forever to get through the line to get the trailer and then they tried to give us the wrong trailer. Then when we went to return it, they wanted us to back it into the space though we were parked in the drop off area. So we drove it around to the place where the trailers were parked and they unhooked it. We did not park it for them. They expect too much from their customers. It's not the customers responsibility to put the equipment away for them.

Steven PMakenzie and her team were great…the only issue we had was that the storage unit was on the second floor…a long walk to the back of the facility! If there was access through the rear of the building that would not be nearly as bad. We went into it with our eyes open so it wasn't their fault at all. Merci!

Also, no explanation was previously provided about having to use two different keypads to enter the facility and then the facility keypad required me to enter the code 3 times before it worked. If you offer a 24/7 virtual check in process then the tools you need to use to do the checkin in need to work.

We had 6 weeks between when we needed to be out of our apartment and before our sellers would allow us to close on the house. It ws nice to have that space.

visnja c | Expérience généraleTerrible customer service. I moved from out of state and qualified for 1 month free storage. I requested a storage unit on the ground floor and paid for it over the phone. When I went there to pick up the keys it was on the second floor after waiting in line for over 20 mins I was given a ground floor unit. The counter person did not tell me it was a larger unit and that there would be a upgrade fee. When I received my bank statement there was a $154 charge and a $60 charge for the unit and upgrade. I immediately went down and ask why I'm charged this because I was told it was free. They said the person made a mistake and they would take it off and credit it back. That never happened after numerous attempts to get it taken off I was then told it was a bank problem and to call my bank, which I did but it was not my bank. It took many phone calls and trips to uhaul to get this resolved which was finally credited back. Would never recommend uhaul!

DAVID L | Expérience généraleWe used U-Haul Moving & Storage of Victor for storage. We stored our things there for almost eight months. The storage facility is nice and clean and climate controlled. We especially liked that we could drive our cars and rentals right in to unload, and again to load when we left. This is great in any weather and especially nice when it's too hot or cold out. They even have a nice little section where you can take or leave items in good condition. We bought packing materials and ended up renting a 15-foot truck when we were ready to move our things. The people there are great, over the course of this year we have spoken to four employees there. Each person was kind, treated us with respect, and was very helpful. I highly recommend using U-Haul Moving & Storage of Victor.
