There are FAR TOO MANY nails, screws, etc. that could cause flats on the property where customers drive. AT LEAST WEEKLY a magnet should be used to go over the entire area. This is especially an issue where customers are directed to pull up to return rented trucks or trailers.John S.

Front desk guy has no manners. Seems like he doesn't want to be a work. Truck return instructions are vague and nonexistent. Found kitchen roach in the truck before I put my belongings in it and it made its way into my new apartment. Checking out the equipment was great. Everyone, during checkout was respectful and made sure I was good to go with the trailer. The problem I had was checking in the trailer. It was understaffed, so it took longer to check it in. The employees their looked like they didn't want to be there. But, I would rent from that location again. Honor your contract with VISA to accept any valid VISA card for payment. I have been told by VISA that my Chase VISA Debit card is BOTH a Debit card AND a fully functional VISA credit card and that it is MY choice to enter my pin and use it as a befit card OR sign and use it as a credit card. From their perspective in the later case the card behaves as if my current bank balance is my current credit limit. They say tgat any merchant displaying the VISA logo whi refuses to accept this card for payment is in violation of their contract with VISA.THOMAS S.

The vehicle was clean however the maintenance on the vehicle was horrible it started initially to get me out of the u-haul parking lot yet once we loaded it up at the departure location the vehicle would not start unless we turn the radio off. This location was awesome! We originally made our reservation at the Copperfield location, they did not have our trailer when we got there and told us to call UHaul if we didn't like it! We then called the Willowbrook location and they helped us out right away! We will NEVER use the Copperfield location again, and we will tell all our friends to go to Willowbrook instead! I booked about a month in advance for a can. UHaul called less than 36 hours before pickup to say it was unavailable at my location. Offered other locations far away. Canceled that order. Made another order for a 10-foot truck. Arrived at the location 20 minutes in advance only for the app to say it was unavailable (I was standing in front of the truck). Called UHaul and they told me the business there had failed to enter the truck in their computer. Sent me to a UHaul store about 10 miles away. Did my move and returned the truck to that site. UHaul charged me about 200 $for that but now there's a 70 $unexplained charge pending my credit card. (I filled the gas tank before dropping off). Overall, not a pleasant experience.Andrew W.

My trailer leaked like a boat with a hole in it. Many of our things packed in the trailer were ruined from being soaked as we traveled. There is nothing pleasant about moving into your new place and arriving to ruined possessions and soaked mattresses. This trailer should have been taken out of service.Joseph C.

To start, I called to make the reservation everything was good there, when I went to pick up the truck was horrible, I dont know what kind of people you guys hires, I have been in United States for about one year, and the worst experience I have had with a company. As soon as I arrived to the store to pick up the truck, the system was completely down. Then they checked my reservation and told me they didn't have the dolly furniture and don't have pads; when I made the reservation I have chosen a different place but the lady on the phone told me this place had everything I need; They didn't have nothing there. I was very upset and the Manager JOHN PENA, are you guys sure he can be a manager, he didnt even approach to me to resolve my problem, he just ignored me, you can verify this information with the CCTV system. They didnt bring the truck to me, I had to go out and find the truck by myself, the truck was not clean, the gas it was just in a quarter of tank, this is HOUSTON the distances here are big so I had to stop of the middle of the trip to put gas, then when I checked the storage unit, I have requested to be on 77095 not to the south of the city, So I have to call customer service to fix this problem, at the end it was fixed but I had to deal with a lot of stress because of you. I wont recommend anything from you, or use your services anymore. And please you need to fire this guy John Pena it was not respectful with nothing, how is it possible to have a manager that was not resolving the situations in the store and keep ignoring me all the time? We rented what they called a Climate Controlled 10x10 storage room for 140 $per month including insurance because we had furniture and other sensitive items that would be damaged by heat and humidity. We put our things in the facility in May and all summer, the temperature was between 85 and 100 degrees Farhenheit. I have a photo of the temperature gauge they have in the hallway that reads 98º. It was always hot and humid in the storage areas. Many times I went to retrieve things and all the doors to my building were locked. I had to go to the other building and ask somebody to unlock the building. We ended up moving everything to a LifeStorage facility that was always so chilly that we almost needed a sweater when we went in, and it only cost 82 $per month. There are a LOT of better options. Do not put your valuable things in this place. You will regret it. The worst part is, it is not even the lowest price around. Not even close. You can get better accommodations for less. My unit had a leak I was in storage unit 0167. This leak ruined a box of my military memorabilia from my time I served in the US Navy. I told the employees about the leak but they didn't seem to care. I just wanted to inform her that I lost items and it should be repaired before someone else rents it. I was pleased with everything service oriented. It was when I emptied the unit, found tons and tons of rodent droppings in the climate controlled, rodent controlled environment I paid for. I lost a lot of clothing, and towels due to holes chewed in them. Thank goodness I did not have much stored there. Your marketing president Gabe Mindieta was so rude and so nasty and so threatening is the reason I canceled my storage unit there after over 10 years because he didn't like me using the dumpster. Kept raising my rates and was full of mice and bugs. When I canceled I had to ask three times to take me out of the system fully paid as they sent collections tactics to both me and my father separately to get payment and then have the audacity to charge by mail with a late fee… I was fully paid, and I was told this was handled, but it was not handled.
