Customer service rap were good, truck seams very old and not maintained enough. Big disappointment with Tricky fuel gauge reading, a mechanical gauge keeping it at somewhere in middle not at full tank, is clearly sign of charging more to customer, who end up filling more to return or pay extra, totally unprofessional for such a big companyAsheesh T.

Your online ordering system is unclear and confusing. When I couldn't rent a truck for several days online I called a local store in North Reading, MA and they gave me incorrect information about how I could rent a truck for more than one day.Jonathan D.

The truck I rented was well maintained but wasn't clean to what I could have expected. We could see traces of products and I didn't feel comfortable using it until I wiped all major surfaces with some Clorox wipes.Pierre B.

when i picked up the trailer i had to wait in an extremely long line and then I'm finally getting help and she hooks up the trailer to my car and I'm driving down the road and the trailer lights stops working my boyfriend is an electrician he tried to address the problem but nothing we did fixed it i had called multiple times to the U-Haul place as i know we can not drive a trailers with no lights but i got no one to answer the phone the phone rang off the hook. so i had to drive the trailers and because im moving to Tennessee and had a job to start on Wednesday. i had to get 2 different hotels both costing 125 $and 150 $as i did not want to drive at night with no trailer lights i was extremely pissed off as i could of gotten a ticket or a major fine or my car would of been towed if i was to get pulled over. i would like to get some money refunded to me as i did pay over 600 $for the trailer worst costumer service ive ever delt withKayla S.

We did encounter an issue with booking the rental online, then again when we went to pick up the trailer because the system was offline, and we did experience a bit of technical difficultly with the trailer. However, Jamie the manager of the Wilmington facility is a Rock Star and worked extra hard to make sure I was taken care of. I will only use this location they are the absolute best!!!!Joseph T.

All of the customer parking spots were taken by trucks. When returning the rental there were no employees in the store to help us, when the app wasn't working for us to do it ourself. Something that should've taken 5 mins took 30.Charles P.

Was not able to complete my truck pick up from my mobile (no reserved equipment shown, although my reservation number information was shown). So I waited in line at counter. Computer was not functioning at the store, per the only employee there on a Saturday morning. It took over 30 minutes to complete my truck pick up. Employee was very friendly and helpful, but visibly frustrated, with long line forming behind me. Truck was clean, but had almost 100k miles on it, and engine made frightening sounds and was extremely slow to shift gears automatically. The truck pulled to the right while driving. All in all, I will likely shop at location again, because I had an opposite and very pleasant experience the first time I rented there.ANNE B.

The individual who helped us when we picked up the Uhaul was great! However, since they were the only person working we had to wait around for 30 minutes before checking in. The employee was SUPER apologetic but it isn't their fault that they had 4 customers and they are only 1 person!Jillian J.

The truck had electrical issues and safety issues, no turn signal , no four way flasher and no stop light. Which we realized after driving and had a deadline so we could not return. People were pushed that we did not put right or left signal on because we couldn't it want working, which could have caused an accident. Returns should be thoroughly expected before rented.Terry C.

I can't think of any way to improve other than your website. The people at Wilmington were exemplary!! I was faced with a very difficult situation and they helped make it much more easy. My, 20 year old son is in the Navy, He was returning home from South Carolina after being in training since 2019. He was unable to visit and come home until May of 2021. On his way home the axle on his personal vehicle snapped, just outside of Philadelphia nearly 300 miles away on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning The Wilmington U-Haul crew set me up with a truck and a car carrier. Both in perfectly maintained condition. I drove down, picked my son, his car and his two cats and other items and managed to get him home. All of it accomplished in under 24 hours. PLEASE change my location to UHAUL of Lowell. Wilmington was fine. Lowell was terrible. They gave my truck to the woman in front of me and denied me my reservation. On top of that Erica was rude to everyone I witnessed she encountered on top of there being a significant line of witnesses behind me. I was shocked. Let me reiterate: Wilmington was ok. I get impeccable service from this location all the time which is the reason I constantly come back here, I've spent over 20 000 $here in the past 8 months at this very same location. Until today when a replacement employee named tatianna called me yelling and screaming about returning the truck which I constantly rent for a week at a time, threatened me, yelled and screamed in my ear and hung up the phone on me. I expect a call from uhaul corporate to make this right. You are about to lose a very good spending customer to Penske. I am disgusted with what happened today.
