I made a reservation online. I showed up to the store on time and the customer Service representative told me the general manager just gave the truck away before she left which was 10 mins before u arrived. my reservation was cancelled and I didn't even receive a courtesy phone call. This inconvenience me 30 mins after my pickup time because I needed to make new reservation in person and also had to wait for the truck that reserved to return. I called the general manager and she wasn't not help just put the blame on other in the higher up which was super unprofessional.

When I got home with the box truck and opened the back it smelled like the city dump, whoever had it before me obviously used it to haul trash and it stunk bad.I didn't have time to get another truck,I only had the movers for 2 hours.

I was not this location that we had issue with. It was the ORIGINAL location we were supposed to pick up our rental: Glacier Auto LLC 216 N DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720. We showed up for our 24/7 pick up and there was no truck ready. Our message was to wait 2 hours for the place to open. Unacceptable. We called ang got redirected to the new location. Furthermore, no dolly available and we were NOT provided our furniture mats that we were charged for. BAD EXPERIENCE overall.

I want this location to have a 5 star rating because the employees were genuinely wonderful. But my original pick up location was in New Castle, where I went at 4pm to pick up a 20ft truck reserved weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was told there was actually no truck because the person using it before me decided to extend another day. I was also told I had received a voicemail explaining the situation 2,5 hours prior. No such voicemail or missed call existed, but that doesn't explain why anyone would be given the option to extend use of a truck 2,5 hours before someone else already had it reserved for an 8 hour move. Had to spend an hour on the phone with corporate trying desperately to find a truck for a 6am move the next morning only to find out there actually was another one at the Governor Printz location, contrary to what the area/district manager claimed quite adamantly. Horrible experience with U-Haul overall, but this particular location was worry-free.

Drop off location was changed 3 times and I spent over an hour calling customer care and driving to multiple locations indicated by uhaul only to be charged additional fuel charges due to uhauls mistake and lack of knowledge that locations provided do not accept truck returns. Will never rent from uhaul again. Customer service promised a manager would wave fuel charges and then my credit card was charged anyway without my approval.

Rude, uncaring, truck was in aweful condition. Broken windshield, gented, scraped, covered in Claim Filed stickers. The truck mechanically was fine and I always like the Ford Super Duty. THe moving supplies were not on the truck whick was parked out side the lot and they told me the wrong place and then rudly said "It is out back on the street. I found it on the sidewalk next to a tlelphonepole wedged behind the guywire. I asked for the furniture dolly and the blamkets and the utility dolls I ordered. The General Managed said Hey .. get this guy some blamkets. I asked him for the dollies, he gave me handed me the furniture dolly and said I sold the last utility dolly an hour ago. I had arrived early for my pick up,.. I went back to the GM and asked for the utility dolly to be taken off my bill. She said it isnt on your bill. I went out to the truck got my copy and showed her the contract listing the utility dolly she did it. I said the truck is out of gass almost and the windshield is cracked. The GM/She said we only have the gas it was returned with and a claim was filed on the windshield. You are good to go and then she turned back to her computer.. U went on line and explained this to U Haul via chat. Going down the road 1, I was worried about getting stopped by law enforcement due to the numerious LARGE cracks in the windshiteld and @. This was a gread advertisement for U Haul as I drive I-95 from Delaware to South Carolina! I would not send someone I hate to this location for anything. THe General Manager and the staff were horrible and do not care about ANYTHING!!

Efficient pick up and drop off. Disappointed that an appliance dolly was not available, but turned out we managed fine without it. If we had been moving large appliances (which we weren't) it may not have gone well.

I just received my Uhaul receipt from my drop off yesterday. I am being charged $ 7,28 cents for extra mileage due to the fact I had to pick up this truck 23 miles from my home and drive it back to my house 23 more miles to get loaded. And they charged me a $ 25 fuel charge which I filled the tank above the amount when I picked it up another $ 40 out of my pocket. I truly need someone to call me regarding this reservation. Check the uhaul for locks. I washed over an hour waiting for someone to get the key to the lock. Plus the uhaul was parked on top of the curb in the back. It should have been parked inside the lot of the location in a visible location.

Quick and friendly … he was able to give me a refund for the paddings that was promised but didn't deliver, though it's not full refund. U-haul really needs to be more nimble for situations like this or coordinate with local stores better.

This store will rob you blind. I paid for my cargo van and the only thing I needed to do was pick up the van keys and go instead I had to watch the front desk guy push my paid reservation to the side and give it to the next customer .. then proceed to tell me that I'm not in the system and that I never paid for that cargo van even tho I showed him that he was lying I called customer service and had to start a new reservation somewhere else only thank god they were able to issue me a refund right

I arrived at the facility with a full U haul 26 foot load one way rental. I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

The facility was over run with mice & other rodents. I came in one night & something big & furry ran into a broken unit. All of my things were covered in mice droppings. My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.

Sorry doir to access out unit was hard to open n rigged and the employees were aware n tried to tell me how to access it broken , they called thinking we exited ( saying Mayby they put us in wrong unit) when employees took me to unit because of broken door. When calling still no one knew if our things were safe or stolen . Won't store here again , yet Ellie's Teklu was most kindest sweet professional when I originally encountered this facility . But after that all down hill

I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.

I chose average because the location is not in a safe part of the city. Deja(?) or whoever the girl that moved my u-box out so I could unpack it was extremely helpful and friendly.

I ended up cancelling the unit rental, but the staff was very professional on the telephone. They helped me locate the drop off spot for the truck I rented that was not printed on the receipt.

I had three pods which had to be picked up separately so yes that meant three trips back and forth to the UHaul warehouse which was a 30 minute trip one way from my home. The Kane Family movers worst

The staff was great and helpful. The grounds and facilities were not clean. Parking is a challenge,, especially on weekends. There was clear evidence of rodent infestation in our unit.

Staff was very user friendly. They went out of there way to help with getting pods ready. A pod was ready for me each time I returned. Outstanding group of employees. The lot was very cluttered.

While I did not visit the facility, as our U-box was delivered to us by U-Haul, I can say that everything arrived safe and sound and it was obvious that the box had been handled properly in transit.

Poor communication about my UBox. No one contacted me, and when I called, I was transferred 5 times. The box just showed up without a call first. Pick-up scheduled Sun happened Thurs. I called 3 times

Order # 21072822. Charged an extra $181,44 for no reason. I already paid $1316 for two Uboxes. The Wilmington store charged me extra 1 month storage and it took them 15 days to get my UBoxes.
