Was verbally told to gas tank was "around half" and brought it back exactly at half after yoping it off but it appears the contract indicated "9/16"... that 1/16 difference vost me $26.

The trailer I rented had a big dent in the floor which delayed me from getting my item off the trailer because one of the wheels would want to go into the debt and tip the item over. I use uhaul a lot but I thinking I should either look else where to rent or purchase my own trailer.

When I booked the ubox, the time was chosen and delivery was chosen. Then was contacted by the location that I would get the ubox to be told they could not deliver the ubox, but the person on the phone was helpful and I rented a truck to pickup the ubox and confirmed a time. All was good until I get a call early next morning 90 min before I pick up the truck to be informed that I was mistaken? for not knowing the policy and was told my pickup would have to be 2 1/2 hours later when I had already arranged a ride to pick up the truck. I was able to change and the person at the center was awesome, but left a sour note because very little notice was given and made it sound like I was at fault even though it was confirmed the day before by a employee of the center. Anyways, like I said pick up and drop off was great and the person working at the center was awesome and efficient.

Had a guaranteed reservation for a 12x6 trailer. Confirmed the night before. When I arrived the following morning they did not have the trailer. Replaced it with a 8x5 trailer which was way too small for what I needed. Horrible customer service.

The truck is advertised at 19,95 a day, I used half the allotted kilometers, and was given a unit with the fuel unit below empty, and was told if I brought it back with a quarter tank I would get a discount. I was also told the whole thing would cost just over $380 when I made the reservation. Instead it was over $500, and I never actually got the promised discount.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was In and out within 20 minutes, including time required to find the right adaptor for my truck's trailer electrical hookup. The cost of their smallest enclosed trailer was just $104 for up to 4 days. (I had it for 2 days.). You can't beat that.!

Loading bay always full with small cars. Loading bay is a nightmare. Never empty. Should be a limit of 1h per moving or a sort of moving in schedule. 15 min, 30 Min, 45 min, 1h , slots where you can book it.

My only concern was that the unit was completely covered in snow. It appeared that staff were unprepared for me to pick up the unit even though we had reserved well in advance. As well, there was no snow brush in the vehicle so we had to use our own brush from our personal vehicle. That was disappointing.

**This is in regards to the moving Company** Hi Maxwell, this is Shanna. You move me yesterday. I have decided to take a different approach to things and I'm contacting you with regards to my review you asked me to give you. You asked me to give you five stars. I could not possibly do that. I have to let you know that I've been moved by other companies, in this by far was the worst move I've ever had to deal with. - First of all you guys were late you asked me to pick up the U-Haul sooner so that the deal would be done. - Two the only one that was moving furniture was David you were inside the truck I don't know organizing almost for the entire period of time we were at my address in Devon. - Three David would be talking or mimicking me with his light voice, etc. which was rude. - Four the truck was finally loaded. You're ready to drive out and you didn't shut the door. You guys are the ones that loaded it not me, I'm not supposed to be responsible for that. - Five, I'm on my way to the new place. You call me and you tell me that you're going to be late and that I have to wait 2 1/2 hours for you to get here because you had another move. - Six This made me and my moving less than a priority. As far as I'm concerned and if you wanted to book your time accordingly, I would think he would have come to my home in Devon, to see my place to see how much it was to move. -Seven After you moved your afternoon apt, you show up and you bring two new fellows with you. - Eight neither of the movers read the boxes even though you yourself told me that all of my boxes were detailed all the information was on there. - Nine not not one box is put in the proper place, other than the ones I caught when they were walking in with the box. When I opened the truck to start taking out what I could to take out, everything is piled on top of each other. There were things put into my PICTURE BOX and I have broken Glass! There's was no cushioning, my headboard was scratched, and I know it wasn't there before because the dust was on it from getting scratched, in two spots. Ahman kept coming in carrying one thing for example he carried a tent nothing else. Then you use my granddaughter's house a as a ramp!! how professional is that? I honestly have to say that the experience I had with your moving situation was the worst , and then in the end you ask me for an extra $50 because you brought an extra person. You did not ask me that prior and that is another bad decision on your behalf. I am going to give you a choice. Unless we can come to an agreement, I will write out everything that happened and post it in a review. I do not want you guys to come here. I don't need to meet up with you guys either. At this stage, as far as I'm concerned the last three hours should have been cancelled all together. You did not give me a discount or provide any compensation for the delay and stress you caused me. U-Haul almost charged me for another day for the rental. Moving forward Maxwell, I you have a choice I'm asking you to give me back 300 dollars. If we can't come to this agreement then I'm just giving you a heads up now that I will be making a review and I will be typing out everything that took place. In addition, I will speak with Uhaul about my experience. If you want to be the organizer of your moving company that's one thing if you wanted to stay in the truck and unpack and organize and move stuff then you should've had two extra guys or actually moving stuff because all it did was take twice as long as it should have just to load. I will wait to hear back from you. If we cannot come to an agreement by tomor at 12, I will have no choice but to share the experience I had with your company. Thank you. The response I received back was: Hello Shanna, We are sorry that you did not have a pleasant moving experience with us. We did our best and certainly could have done other things differently to meet your expectations. We believe the charges are fair for the work we did and will not issue a refund. If it was my workers, I could have understood, but I was there myself the whole time.

Not enough staff, counter personal has to run between Behind the counter and outside with every customer, I had pre booked my trailer and completed the inline check-in and it still took 40 mins to make it through the line at pick up as well as when I dropped the trailer back off. The staff were helpful but overwhelmed

Staff was nice. But getting the van out was a nightmare. The staff had the exit blocked. There was a uhaul in the way and another flatbed with boxes on it that a forklift was removing. I had to back the van out down a very tight space to leave. Plus another customer was behind me moving a trailer so I had to wait. I was very nervous I was going to hit something. It took me over 5 minutes to leave the lot. Someone should have cleared the exit so I could leave. A huge inconvenience. Then when I was returning the van the original spot where I got it from was blocked so I had to drive way down the lot to park it. The checkout procedure was fast and easy. But I wouldn't go back to this location based on how difficult it was to navigate the lot.

I was looking for additional storage. The young fellow working the desk was helpful and courteous. Unfortunately due to the popularity of the location a larger space was not available, only a second small space. It was clean and ready to go.

The rep did not check the fuel tank and I was charged $31. I forgot to take a picture of the fuel tank when the truck was given to me and it was already at empty. The rep charged me for returning an empty tank when I filled up $10

I think the bar code scan should be larger when returning the keys. Had a hard time finding it but I think it was because the light above was not working at that time so everything was a bit hard to see. Minor issue.

The truck I rented was ransacked. Multiple items were stolen .I rented a truck using my credit card and was charged with theft over 5 000 because the rental was a day late due to unforeseen emergency and subsequently many expensive items were stolen while the truck I had rented was in possession of stoney plain road uhaul storage.

I was over charged for a 9' van I rented yesterday. When I moved to a new located Oct 1st I had rented a 15' uhaul from a different located and was $40 less than the van I just rented yesterday!!! With the 15' I used a lot more kilometres and gas, not happy what so ever. Don't come here.

Poor stuff at the counter are same to help you outside. When I returned the truck it was no one there. Management must suck here. Also they don't inform you well on pricing etc...they rush you. Am sure it Management issue. Not bad overall

It was and has been overall a great experience being here, storing my stuff and renting multiple u-haul trucks. I decided yesterday to move stuff out of storage into my apartment. I back up my car to the door and the uhaul truck so i can load both. The lady australian or new zealand came over while she was having a smoke and told my mom she needs to move her car on the road. My mom tried to explain we're loading her car up, the lady was persistently being rude about it and waited and watched us until my mom moved the car closer to the door. Just straight up pestered her. Like jesus leave us alone would you? otherwise this would be a great location.

This was in fact the 3rd drop off location we were assigned!! OMG!! The first one that was closest to our house had too many trucks so we were not allowed to drop there! They automatically assigned us a new location that was 45min away. We called and finally were able to change to a 3rd location that was only 20 min away and actually open. The gentleman at this location was super nice and VERY empathetic to the horrible state U-haul's one way rentals are now in. I would not recommend anyone to use U-haul right now…horrible customer service

It was the entire experience that was poorly handled. The day before my rental I was contacted and asked for a favour to return the truck to Edmonton instead of stony plain. I was assured it was optional and I'd be helping uhaul out but it was fine to decline. I declined as it added 90 mins extra to my day and excess fuel charges. On pick up I was told I was to return the truck to Edmonton. The person attempted a fix saying I could drop off at a different stony plain address with a 24 hour drop box and given a number to call. Halfway through the move I called, I was told their is no drop off box and they were closing right away, closed the next day too. Given another number to call, where I found out I would be forced to take the uhaul to Edmonton for return, no extra expense covered but a 30 km credit. I was told to use online return and if I had trouble I could call the return in the next day. I attempted return 6 times before giving up to call the next day, each I received a time out error. I called uhaul directly to do the return and was told by the staff I had to be with the truck, I could not do it after leaving. I was told the wrong information time and time again. Very frustrating and stressful on top of moving. I was very disappointed with uhaul business practices.

The staff and service itself were great. Just the facility the layout is a bit poor with the parking lot. There's dolly's to use for your stuff except no flat surface to roll them off the sidewalk to your car. The lot doesn't have much parking as it's crowded with Uhaul trucks and a Genie lift taking up all the spots. You're trying to use the single elevator where you might be wheeling in multiple dollys and carrying heavy things and it's set with a quick door close timer and an alarm if you try to hold it open.

I was in a situation of uncertainty about my house and belongings with me working out of the country. I chose your storage facility and everything went well. My payments were taken out on my credit card and everything was smooth. Any problems were my own problems. I planned on the storage to be only a short time until I had more definite plans. Before I could return, Covid came along. Travel was next to impossible then my credit card expired. I called my bank as I am working in Cambodia, and they immediately forwarded a new credit card to me in Cambodia. That should have been ok as the number on the card would be the same. But, that was too easy. The card never made it to me. Therefore they couriered out a new card but this time with a new number. Meaning my payments could not be made on my credit card. I had to get someone to pay cash. But soon I will be back in Canada making decisions. It may come to the point where I may be back at your doorstep needing storage again. I would not hesitate using your facility again.

The storage was good. Didn't like that Uhaul requires a specific lock on their units which gives uhaul access to your unit if they so wanted. You aren't allowed to use your own lock.

I can't remember the name of the gentleman who served me he Is heavy set with a beard lighter color But he was Super helpful informative polite friendly nice And even though u-haul's computer systems Not only when I rented the truck but when I rented the storage Clearly made the poor guy's job harder as the computer weren't working Efficiently/freezing I didn't even care that's how good the guy is at his job!!

Only issue is there was a lock on my locker when I first went there after hours. I called u haul the next day and they had the lock taken off. Other than that everything was great.

As to customer service in the facility and on the phone, excellent. The staff were great. The challenge is the wait time - there are not enough representatives to deal with the month end/new month volume that is part of moving and storage.

Was happy with my experience up until the last two months. I had purchased a year rental package and was due to move out in March of 2022. I started to receive emails in Jan that I had a payment due. I had already prepaid so I didn't pay much attention. They I started to get "Pre-Lein" letters and every 2 weeks, penalty charges were added to my file. I called multiple staff who said they would clear it up for me. It didn't happen as I kept getting notified. I finally spoke to the female manager there and she said to ignore those and it would be cleared up. I went this weekend to get my stuff and my code didn't work anymore AND there was a double lock on my unit and my account was still deliquent!!?? What a frustrating ending to my experience with this location. I won't be doing business with them again nor would I recommend them. When staff stays they a re going to take care of things, they should. When a manager says they are going to take care of things, they better!! So upsetting.

This facility only does walkabouts every two days. My storage unit was broken into and everything I had was stolen. Over $7500 stolen and Uhaul did nothing. They refused to offer me any consolation or any reimbursement. All they offered was two months free rental. This is the worst facility ever with absolutely the worst customer service. They are thieves. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS LOCATION.

There was some issues with the fence not being open when we needed it as we were going out of town but the gate was frozen. It took 2 days to manually open the gate. Which not sure why they couldn't manually open it the first day. But other then that I will be back. Nicole and her staff are very friendly easy to work with.

Arrived as instructed to find the gate inaccessible. Was eventually informed after 30 mins of wasted time that the gate was frozen and no one was sure when it would be fixed. After waiting another 20 mins to see if the issue could be resolved I went home and resorted to calling every half hour or so to see if I could move in. After about 2 hours the problem was resolved. Unfortunately it was then dark in the facility and lights did not work - leading to an unpleasant move in while -25C outside.

It had 3 inches of ice from door to door in the spring. The door was falling off the track for 3 years and never fixed. Security is a joke with numerous break-ins including an attempted theft of my cargo trailer. I was told the security cameras don't cover that area. I am so happy to be out of there and will never have anything to do with Uhaul again.

Experience was generally good, but there were a few hiccups: - my storage unit was not cleaned out from the previous tenant and I had to move a lot of stuff outside of the unit (including rotting food) and clean the floor (with what I could find in the previous tenants stuff) before moving my stuff in. - I couldn't get a hold of the office staff to tell them about the above; they put me on a long hold. I did tell them about it later, however when I came in for another thing. - I had a hard time finding the exit/sign out kiosk the first timenI was there and had to search for it for about 10 minutes. I think the location of that kiosk could be better marked and communicated.

The only Cavia to me would be to have the check in/check out device show that it is used for both better. Beside that, it was very simple to navigate through the storage unit facility. P.S. The app isn't very efficient, but the website has caused no issues.

Stored our belongings to this facility. Not even 3 days our storage got burglarized. It happened in the early morning on a Saturday and they called us to let us know that it's been ransacked at around 6pm. You guys should invest in good lighting, wireless cameras (yes! The thieves cut the line) and a fence that's not easy access.

I was asked how long the stay would be, I said 4 months, and they noted it down. I later discovered I had been charged for a 5th month despite having been moved out for a full month, and when I called in they told me that when they asked that, it was just a question and they didn't actually do anything with the information, and that I will keep being charged until I notify them I'm out. Why ask how long I'm gonna stay, make it seem like that information is being taken into account while we draft the agreement, and obscure that asking me that had no purpose and only misled me into thinking I was on a set amount of time?
