The phone support from UHaul is pathetic. I had trouble finding an open, nearby return center.ERIK S.
First of all my location was moved at the last minute, adding more to my overall mileage which made my bill higher. Second, i was charged for two dollys but this location did not have a furniture dolly and i was told that this was just because of an issue with the website and there was nothing they could do. However i was still charged for it! And i had to go rent one from another moving company because i had a piano to move and it was necessary. During dropoff there was a uhaul parked outside with loud music blaring to the point you could barely here. Staff did nothing. It took ten minutes to read the mileage because something was wrong with the truck. Then something was wrong with the computer equipment which took even more time. I was told the dolly would be taken off again and it was not! Very dissatisfied.Rebekah R.

A ramp would have been really useful for the cargo van. It was difficult to onload and offload big items and avoid damaging them. We would have rented one as an add-on to the cargo van. We didn't need a bigger van/truck and noticed that trucks had ramps included. Very challenging to lift heavy items on and off without a ramp despite having a dolly.JUAN D.

The system was down, which is understandable. What wasn't ideal to me was the fact that the worker didn't know how to operate the scanner device to get us into the reservation. I waited an hour to get my reserved truck. Workers should be proficient in all devices, and not just the computers, to ensure customers are getting in and out. I hired a moving company, amd was late getting them the truck, because of this incident.ALEXANDRIAMARIE R.

Trailer wiring improperly routed and got caught in the door and ripped it out. I had to fix it on the roadside. Tires we're balding on edges and only at 25psi. Employee improperly hooked it to my vehicle. I told the staff about this stuff when I dropped it off and they acted like it was no big deal. No sorry, no discount, nothing. I normally have a great experience with the staff here. The lady who issued the truck was extremely rude. I believe her name was Alexa or Alex. She wouldn't listen and kept interrupting me when i tried to talk or ask a question. The tall guy that worked there that checked my truck when I was returning it was extremely pleasant and made things so much better. When I was getting the truck and got my paperwork he asked if I was ok and told him no because my experience with Alexa. He reassured me that I'll be ok and apologized. Alexa saw me talking to him outside and left her line of customers and came outside to yell at me some more. A customer asked her to please come back inside so she can take care of them. All of this should be on camera, I recorded it myself as well. When I 1st came in she didn't even great me and when she saw me I informed her I had a reservation and she rudly told me I had to wait because she's busy. Someone needs to coach her on how to treat customers and this is a business and not a getto club or high school where she can talk to people how she wants to. Whether the customer is right or wrong you to not debate, call them names, or antagonize them. The white male that walked in after me she took the time to great while she was rudly dealing with me but didn't great the black men that walked in nor myself. I really do not know how to feel about the situation with her. I had to ask her if she would stop so I can just get my paperwork and go. This is my 1st time ever having this experience at on of your locating and I've rented a few trucks over the years starting in 2010. Thank you for your time.LISAMARIA R.

The location did an amazing g job with our rental. However, the equipment leaked and some of our items got wet.JOHN W.
The website did not indicate that requested trailer was unavailable. When I arrived they were out. None around within 100 mile radius. But, working with Alexx was a pleasure. She found one that would be available in 2 days. This worked with my timeliness. Two days later, when it was delivered to wrong store, she went with me to get it and attach to truck. The other store was pathetic. No help. Alexx did all their work and got me on my way. She also had to replace chains and wiring. Two thumbs up to Alexx and her customer service.KEVINBLAINE S.
I had to visit the store 4 times to rent and return an appliance dolly. The line was long. The ridiculous questions and employee's rudeness slowed the line to a crawl. The very, very loud music which played in the parking lot and through the open door frequently featured obscene lyrics. Another customer ran into my vehicle. The employee he reported the incident to told the other customer it was fine. Go ahead and leave. My old truck is nothing special, but I would have preferred to have interfaced with the other driver myself. In general, the employees are unprofessional, and your demands for weird information are excessively burdensome. You need to hire decent people, and you need get to know your customers. I regularly do business with your company. I also do business with Hertz rental car and Grand Rental Station. These two companies offer services similar to yours. They both have my name, address, phone number and detailed records of our past interactions on file. They do not pester me for ridiculous information. Their employees are polite and they don't blast obscene lyrics at their customers. Consider adopting some of these other companies' business practices. Frankly, I regret not having driven the extra miles to rent the dolly from Grand Rental Station. I definitely will be renting a transit van from Hertz if I need a modest size truck. I will be looking at other companies like Penske or Ryder if I need something larger. I will NOT be treated this BADLY again. Your location is only a few blocks from my home. I would continue with your company if I thought you were going to improve, but I doubt you will. I've never seen a company recover from this degree of contempt for their customers.Elizabeth C.

This is the second time I have used this facility and had problems. The first time I was being overcharged due to their negligence. The second time they left an voicemail stating I didn't return the truck, this was at 6:35PM August 2, 2021. The truck was returned at 12:30PM August 2, 2021, the same day. I turned it in earlier than was scheduled. The lady that took the keys sprained her ankle that day and couldn't check me in and said when someone comes in they would check it. Have more than one person working during pickup/drop off times and check to make sure trucks and equipment are in proper working order before issuing to next customer. We drove across multiple states with a truck that constantly misfired and barely got up to the speed limit without shaking so hard that we thought it was going to die on us.JESSICARIANE A.

After checking in I left as my husband was driving the truck. It was extremely dirty on the outside. Inside was fine. He immediately stopped for gas and to clean the windshield which was covered with leaves and debris. It was then he noticed a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. He told me as soon as he got back to the house and I went online to report it but the link had closed so I called down to the pickup location and informed the clerk there who said she'd make a note of it. I have used Uhaul several times in the last year and the service and product is always great. My only complaint is why advertise 19,95 $ for a vehicle when it costs so much more? At 1,29 $ per mile plus insurance and filling up a tank with gas even around town rentals easily run over 100 $even for a few hours.JEFFREYSCOTT S.

Customer service at this store is awful. Alex Hererra was full of attitude as I entered the door and interrupted her lunch. She was rude and terse. The equipment was fine and performed well. When I returned the trailer I did as instructed by the signs posted and stayed in my vehicle to wait for someone to check me out and disconnect the trailer. No one showed up. I entered the store to find two employees. One with a customer, the other was not. She asked me what I wanted and I explained to her that I was returning a trailer. She logged in and walked past me to go outside to begin processing the return of the trailer. She returned to scold me for not following her outside. How was I supposed to know this? Lots of attitude at this store. The equipment is fine but the customer service is the worst. Will never return to this store and will never refer this store to friends and family.CLIFFORD P.

After stopping a short distance into our trip to check the trailer and hook up, I noticed that the coupler had come loose. I tightened back up and continued on our trip. I drove 75 miles again and stopped to check to make sure everything was still ok but again the coupler had loosened up. I had to stop every 75 miles to tighten the coupler up. Not sure what would have happened if I hadn't stop to check on the hook up. Drop off location was notified of issue and they will have the coupler chanced out.DAVID B.
The truck had a bad transmission that would slip when trying to drive the vehicle. We called the store and they referred us to call roadside assistance if we â€œhave any issuesâ€. Driving a fully packed uhaul with a bad transmission is unsafe and should have never been rented out.JENNIFERMARIE R.
