Your Express check in option was a waste of time. Didn't do a thing to speed up the process. Your front desk needed all the same info again. Will not be using this option anymore. Also, you use to keep our credit card on file since we are frequent renters, but now that feature is discontinued by you. Very disappointing and adds more time to our check out.

The mileage read 1476.0 but in the truck it read 1476.8. It was not filled to 3/4, the gas gauge read below that number. And Oscar Gomez did not do a walk throught to access vehicle damage. So, when I returned the vehicle, the owner said there was a fresh scratch. But if no walkthrough was performed prior to rental, how do we know the scratch was fresh.

I have filed a dispute over multiple reasons why I received extremely poor service and was promised a phone call from uhaul within 72hrs. That was a week ago. The wait time is 1 min to book a new reservation and 45min to reach customer service. It’s so completely unacceptable. I’ll NEVER book through uhaul again.

This facility is too small for the amount of equipment it handles. There are never enough employees to keep up with customer traffic especially during busy times. The location is perfect though and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The hitch and wiring installation took 7-1/2 hours when Israel initally stated it would take 2-3 hours. I ended having to take an Uber home and then back again at my expense when the install time more than doubled. The customer service side with all of the employees was fine, but i just would have liked an explanation of why the install time was so long, then at least if we know they needed to get a part or a special tool, as a customer it makes easier for us to work with them and not feel taken advantage of as if our time does not matter.

To improve? Please Improve your communication skills and protocol. I paid for this install June 11th and have yet to have it completed (July 5th). First attempt had a mid-scheduling, second attempt the hitch never arrived in approved install date, and third attempt the hitch was “defective.” Each attempt I was told I would be called and never was called, I had to drive to the store, since calls go straight to the call center, not the actual store. The call center couldn’t even get their call through to the physical store. Only found out each challenge after the fact. Last attempt caused me to miss two appointments that afternoon, after I waited an additional hour after given completion time. I am currently seeing if I can find another uhaul to reschedule at , since UHaul has already taken my $270 and I do not have an installed hitch yet.

From the moment I picked up my Truck till days after it has been hell on earth. I did the 24 hour truck share when I went to Pick up my truck I was only a few minutes late and it was cancelled so I had to call was on hold for 2 hours finallY got through and got my appointment rescheduled it was 830 by then finally got through the check in process and when I got my key it wasa key to another truck so I was told to wait till they open which is at 9 a.m. at 8:45 so it only should have been 15 minutes at 9:45 the store still hadn't opened I was supposed to start my move at 6 a.m. and now it's 9:45 so I go home and I call I was told that I was going to get a refund of 63.29 and a credit of $50 that would be in my account by the end of that day I was able to go back and use my truck for free but then was told they had the wrong Dolly they didn't have the large dollies but that's what I ordered all they had were the boxes dollies this in result ended up giving my husband a back injury which in turn took him out of work for 2 days it took longer for us to move and we had already started almost six hours late it is now Wednesday four days later and I still have yet to receive my credit and my refund they have the pending authorization that was all my money I had on my card still pending has not been released and I have not gotten anything they have promised this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a moving company $50 could not even cover the stress and the heartache and anxiety that we endured that day I'm not sure exactly what you guys can do but I hope somehow you guys can make this right

Please review my rental history! Tina Stumpf (760)707-4908 and (909)478-4238. Today by far was the worst experience! When I arrived there were no other customers present for check out. The attendant seemed high or hung over, I know this from being in the treatment industry for the past 8 years. He was not attentive or engaging in the transaction. My sole purpose was to rent a truck for which I reserved online. I place a roll of pacing tape on the counter directly in front of the computer that he was typing away at, I informed him that I had 5 small boxes and 5 medium boxes. After my purchase or at least what I though was I grabbed my tape and boxes with the help of my housekeeper and he said did you want those boxes and tape??? Well yes I did since I placed it directly in front of you and told you the quantity I had. Which during the transaction he repeated 3 times 5 small boxes and 5 medium boxes, I was flabbergasted that he didn’t charge my credit card for the complete transaction that we discussed in detail. He was figuring out his phone and the computer while trying desperately to have a decent conversation with me. When I left there were at least 6-7 customers looking bewildered at him. I will review by credit card statement and make sure that I was double charged or triple charged

Customer service and computer accuracy is horrible with U-Haul, in general. I reserved a trailer a few months early and found out the initial location did not even have the ability to have a trailer at that location. I changed the reservation and still had to go to three different locations before they had the right piece of equipment. Ultimately, the U-Haul employee who helped me attach the trailer, did not know what he was doing. After all the confusion, the moving pads I requested were forgotten and we had to do without on our move! The whole thing was a pain in the rear. Moving is stressful enough!

At check in the worker pulled out his cell phone to take a picture of our drivers license, which creates suspicion and gives opportunity for identity theft. If you need a copy of a drivers license, use a scanner that sits on the counter attached to the computer. A mobile device, even if it’s a work cell, is not an appropriate method of copying a drivers license as it can easily be stolen.

We had a 7am trailer pickup reservation. No uhaul employee arrived until 8am to open. 5 other customers had various reservations before 8am too. 1 had a 7am trailer hitch install appt. No mech on site till after 8am. Called Customer Service phone and they were not of help. Placated by Israel, the manager via Customer Service phone saying at 7:23a he was 10 min away...he never showed. At 7:45a a female employee arrived but did not have a key and left property to go to a coworker's home to pick up their key. Customer service could only provide empty information and offer to pick up a trailer 30 min away ---at commuter time. Frustrating part is that through Uhaul we hired moving labor scheduled for 8am arrival so getting the trailer on the truck and leaving at 8:20a cost me 45 min of lost labor at $75/hr. Customer Service offered only to reimburse the $5.95 booking fee to us......really !!!??? I lost $75 moving labor cost due to the Uhaul employees not opening until 8am, an HOUR after they were to open at 7am !!! Only positive experience was Mike, who was very professional and focused on getting me on my way as soon as he could...He is an excellent ambassador for your company. He did not cause the problem but accepted responsibility on behalf of Uhaul and apologized for the problem. Regional Manager on vacation till the next week and I was only offered to leave a message for his assistant...no one with authority left in charge in his absence?? That is poor business planning.

I had an appointment for Saturday. When I went to the store (after 30 minutes of travel time), I was told that no one was available to install the hitch (again: I had an appointment!). So, I rescheduled for today at 7 a.m. I was there at 6:57 and standing in the facility in front of the counter. I was told that someone would be with me in a minute. 2 other people walked in and walked up to another counter and were waited on. I was not addressed again until my wife went outside to find someone and brought them in at 7:40 a.m. I stood in the front of the counter for FORTY minutes without even being addressed again. Ridiculous service. I will NEVER return to this facility nor will I recommend U-Haul to anyone. There is too much competition to be treated poorly as a customer. I was also never given a call during the day to let me know that my vehicle was ready. At 4 p.m. I returned to the store (after trying to call but only getting ahold of a national call center) to retrieve my vehicle. I'll emphasize again: you will never receive any business or recommendation from me again.

I reserved a dolly online . When I got there there was no Dollys and the employees did not seem to care or even try to find me another one . They said they had one in the am but gave it away . Just the lack of caring really seemed unprofessional. I was moving my 5 person family do a different town and really needed the dolly . So I had to stop and find a dolly in the middle of moving .

I haul could not find the trailer I was returning in their system it showed already returned. Wasted my time. Upon checking, getting my trailer, I had to return from a mile away because attendant forgot to put dolly in trailer. A pain. Anyway, mistakes happen. But let’s stay focused, please.

I was told 19.95 for 4 hrs. went to pick truck up they had no key to the hitch messed with it for about half an hour on my time had to switch to another one got back in three hrs. I put gas in the tank for the same amount as when I left they charged me 1.09 a mile instead of .69 cents they charged me for a lot of miles I did not drive I maybe went 20 miles but the milage written done was for first truck did not write 2nd truck anyhow I feel I was charged too much I am a good customer and am disappointed with this

June 14th, A.D. 2019 Doughnuts, coffee, apple fritters, juice, bottled water, Just kidding. A company would have to charge more to offer "free" items such as that. That's why dealerships are so expensive, all the "free" add ons. I want to say that I have been dealing with u-haul for decades now. This particular location on Alabama Street in Redlands, California for at least one decade. Managers come and go. The particular one here, Israel is one of the best and most friendliest ones in the industry. When I come in and that is often, he even calls me by name. I believe his name is Alex, the installer in the shop is so friendly and very capable. Never mind those disgruntled people who just love to leave bad reviews. Those people are never satisfied. My name is Jim Cook, The equipment is of the highest quality. Remember, we are dealing with sophisticated wiring and trailer parts. Many rules and regulations??? Of course. Because of the number of abusive and disrespectful people who abuse the equipment and would steal things. God bless Israel and people like him. This rental experience was the worse one I have had. I book a trailer on june 5th and guaranteed my reservation with a credit card. On June 6th I received a call from uhaul informing me the trailer I reserved wasn’t available so I would need to go to a different location. I had the reservation canceled. Later that day I rebooked the trail at the original location with no issues. When I picked up the trailer I had to wait for 20 minutes before anyone came into the office. Up until this rental I was very pleased with uhaul and this location but now I will look for other options for my rental needs.

Every time I rent a trailer from this location the computers are jacked. Always slow, lock up forcing the staff to start the transaction over. Staff are great, and very apologetic for the hour long wait just to try to get the info into the computer. You would think a multi-million dollar corporation like U-Haul could afford a decent computer system for their employees. Next time go to Home Depo to rent a trailer. Same trailer but you're in and out in 10 minutes!

Had a lot of issues with scheduling the delivery of the UBox. Not able to schedule in time due to delivery truck issues, and also was delivered outside of the timeframe - had to take off work all day.
