GWENDOLYN A. | Expérience générale1. The new requirements are a huge hindrance, I didn't have a lease, I lived with family, fortunately I did have a contact, that could be used for approval. My job is closed on weekends so an employer approval was not an option and too invasive. And not all customers have passports. I saw so many customers become frazzled by this new requirement, when all we want to do is be done moving, not surprised or afraid we couldn't finish moving by a move out deadline. 2. The new requirements should be disclosed upfront, not when someone is already in the truck rental process or when they have reserved a truck and go to pick up have it sprung on you. So many people where scrambling or racing to home to find a lease that may be all packed away. Moving is already stressful, it used to be a comfort knowing with all the moving process, we KNEW we would just walk away with a moving truck rental as one less stress in the moving process. 3. Not enough trucks for rental on weekends. Sure there are several other locations in town, however, the ACTUAL Uhaul is the only one open.

That was my first time renting a uhaul but this experience was horrible

I needed for getting tables and chairs for my wedding day which initially I was rated 50 plus dollars once I got there it wasn't the stated amount of money. I used your truck for maybe 5 hours max and was charged 157 dollars. I'm just saying if the customer is finished with the rental early there must be some type of funds to be refunded for the amount not used.

When we did get the rep her name was Rachel Humphrey she was being very disrespectful saying I was just standing there and didn't say anything to her so she walked off then she came in and said if we got a problem we got the right one today. She also was on the phone with her girlfriend while she was being rude and disrespectful when all I was trying to get was the unit and the key and drop off the truck. She then begin texting in her phone while I was standing there waiting to finish giving her the information saying she was responding to her boss and it didn't matter if Obama was standing in front of her she had to text back immediately. Then we had to search for the unit there was no one there to assist her. I would not recommend Uhaul in Albany,GA to anyone. She was very unprofessional and rude for no reason.

I had to drive 45 minutes out the way to get a truck I reserved more than 2 weeks ago. I'm left with the impression that reservations means little or nothing and I got tired of hearing fake apologies! I drove an hour and a half to find out the truck promised me was gone yesterday and I had to call to find this out, no courtesy call from uhaul customer courtesy. I'm disappointed in my experience on yesterday and overbooking appears to be common practice. MAYBE WE ARE IN A SEASON WHERE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS RAN ITS COURSE!!!
