tell the sales people to have the correct dimensions for the inside of the truck. the dimension inside overall length was the overhead compartment, not the floor. We had to build a cradle to carry the long stuff in top of the truck. Lost time and $100.00 building the frame, no longer trucks were available.CraigNICKOLAS A.
Wrong designation to return equipment given. (Phenix City, Ala.) Never allow inoperable hand dollies to leave business. Dolly was useless. Upon completing my designation on time, I was informed that I could not leave the rental due to computer malfunctioning. Later the following morning I was informed the U-Haul employee was incorrect. Due to her error, I missed 1day of work and $10.00 mileage charge.WILLIE H.

We appreciated your posted directions for loading a Queen sized mattress and box. HOWEVER, our cargo van was not wide enough to accommodate the pieces as described. The wheel wells were not far enough apart. This affected the rest of the load which we had carefully planned . . . we had measured each piece and referred to your interior measurements for placement of each. Mis-information meant: we had to make two round trips which added to our mileage and the time it took to move the items. TO IMPROVE: please be accurate in your posted information. The associate Rogar, attempted to cheat me out of my money. I'd already asked for and paid for an appliance dolly. After the transaction, he stated that there was a dolly already in the 15" truck in a blatant attempt to scheme me out of extra money. I reiterated that I requested an appliance dolly. He reluctantly went to the back to provide one. His attitude towards me as a customer was extremely poor and something should definitely be done about this. I'm certain this isn't the first complaint on him and it won't be the last if he continues to treat paying customers this way. AND once I turned the truck back into this location after hours, the website wasn't able to find my location to utilize the online mobile return feature. Which caused me to have a $20 so called convenience fee added onto my bill. Highway robbery. This location is trash at best. Use at your own risk and watch out for Rogar. He will cheat you.DEDRA M.

I've used this location twice. Both times I had issues with GM opening the doors late, up to 10 mins. Yesterday, the building was locked up as though it was closed when I attempted to return my rental, around 3p. When an employee showed up, we were informed the GM disappeared. After getting a number from him to file a complaint, I was informed by the Customer Service rep that the GM had â€œjust quitâ€. Regarding the vehicle I was provided, by that same GM, it was not cleaned prior to being assigned to me. There were mud spots on the mirrors and the ash tray was full of old cigarette butts and ashes. Due to the yesterday's circumstances around the GM's departure, I am having trouble obtaining a receipt. My rental was for business purposes so I need of a receipt ASAP.Brandon D.

Crooks! Firstly I get there it took forever to get my car granted the gentleman was by himself. The truck is in terrible need of maintenance get in and check engine light was on. Truck swaying while driving. Then when I bring it back it took forever for someone to come out and take the vehicle back and the guy had the nerve to have an attitude with me. The website states that this location opens for business at 5 a.m. However, the hours posted on the front door has it opening for business at 7 a.m., which is what time the manager opened. With regards to opening, customers may get confused or frustrated with the discrepancy with the hours.Darrick L.
