It was very hard to do over night drop off. There was a truck parked in the way and blocking to where I had to back out onto a main road instead of going around. It was hard to navigate through the lot and the signs were upside down.Raven D.

I had a terrible experience, they were 20 minutes late for opening, we stood outside for 20 minutes and when they finally arrived the GM pulled up in a Uhaul pickup blasting music and never apologized for being late. I. Fact I had to call uhaul and have them reach out to Rachel the GM to get an eta on her arrival. I was then charged for a two day rental when I only had 8 hours.CHRISTOPHER M.

How about not losing my pod for over a week. Besides having to dedicate an entire week trying to track down my missing pod myself......it caused us to miss a moving deadline. The moving companies on both ends were great....but haul itself was a complete disaster. No offer to offset our extra costs incurred because of their ineptitude. The entire experience was a nightmare and I will never again do business with uhaul.Ronald G.

The brakes on the truck was not good at allCELENA W.
Was told about 3 hrs for hitch install, decided to wait at the location. Took 7 hours to complete and was asked to wait outside so I wouldn't be accused of stealing. Was told it was done but They forgot to install the ball. Had to fix the ball myself because they gave me a 3 inch drop when it should have been a 3 inch raise. Also at my drop off location they informed me to much excess wiring was installed.CODY MICHAEL R.

Less about the location and the people (everyone there was great) but more so about the information provided up front. Deposit info should be told up front (when I call your 1-800 number), especially when the it's as simple as using a different card type. I don't get why you'd charge me a deposit when I use my cash app debit card versus one from my bank, but whatever. The agents tried to give me the insurance which they saw as a certain rate, but when applied it was charging at a higher price causing confusion for them and me. The disconnect between U-Haul the company and the local facilities is a little much and needs to be resolved.GLENN M.

I'm sorry but I went in for a hitch oct/21 of 2021 and they damage several things to my BMW X5. The most disrespectful things is the general manager Rachel who was def rude, told me to go and attach the dumper myself after they broke all the snaps to it. The cracked both right side tail lights. They actually tried to say it was already broken but thanks thanks that I take pictures of my car and they have cameras there too. We came in for an 3hr job and it took 8hrs! The hitch isn't installed correctly, it doesn't workfully and this GM wouldn't call me on a recorded line. Instead uses her personal number to dodge those conversation with customers. I'm no idiot and I know costumer care. DONT EVER GO HERE.CHADWIC J.

Rachel, â€œGeneral Managerâ€ on his shirt talk in a condescending manner to his co-worker. The location had one other customer at the time. He was talking or sitting talking and was dismissive of my church member. Rachel didn't show me to my vehicle. He said it would take 20 minutes for us to receive assistance to have the appliance dolly placed in the truck. I reserved a truck with an appliance dolly online. Rachel provided grading, cold customer service after I almost drove off in the wrong truck in which my church member and I had loaded the dolly. There was a key in the truck but the key I had didn't fit so I asked the front desk representative. Rachel came out at that point. He projected a condescending, irritable manner which slightly improved after I told him that I had never received such poor service from UHaul. I asked for assistance because I had a back injury-he did not care nor offer help. Rachel did not engage me with respectful and professional service. However, the female customer service front desk representative was excellentâ€"courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I believe Rachel, would benefit from customer service training and work place ethic and communication training. His performance indicated, to me that he is not ready for managerial responsibilities. If this were my business Rachel would receive a written reprimand, counseling, and training.SUSAN B.

I had a terrible experience. My reservation was for 7:00, the staff didn't get there until almost 7:10. Then when asked if I can switch trucks because the one I got was too large , the manager said nope. I reserved 2 dollies, the guy walked me out to the truck, turned it on and that was it. I said I thought the dollies were in here. He said â€œoh you got dolliesâ€. Went back inside â€œwe only have one dolly, it's an appliance dollyâ€. I said fine will I just get my money back for the other one I rented, he said â€œIt's only $4â€. I said â€œok, still want it backâ€ I go to leave. As I get about 3 minutes down the road the truck is making a terrrrrible noise. Like puttering. Make it home. Open the back there's a whole in the floor that's just been taped over and covered. Load up once, go to leave and the engine is turning over, won't start. After serval turns it cranks up and the puttering starts. I have to extend it for another day because the 7:00 return was going to happen. After I called customer service, I realize they charged me for furniture pads I didn't even have. So now. It's a double dolly charge and a double furniture pads. I do everything I need to do. And go back to store , to tell them about the charge and again they talk to me as if my comprehension skills aren't good. â€œRemember I said it was only $3.â€ Well you said $4, I replied â€œyeah and I want that back, as well as the imaginary furniture pads I got charged for twice because of the 2 days rental. I left my lock on. Leave and come back, no one says anything to me as I'm standing there. I walk back up and ask â€œis there anything else I need to do, or will it go back on my card?â€. â€œIt'll go back on your card.â€ So I leftâ€¦..spoiler alertâ€¦â€¦..it didn't go back on my card. I thought it went well overall. The reserved truck wasn't ready when we arrived so that ate up 15 minutes or so. Then the dolly wasn't in the truck. We picked it up with less than a quarter tank of fuel and were told to bring it back about the same? It should full when picked up and returned in my view.WILLIAM E.

The employees didn't want to work. They jokes about charging me erroneous fees and did not assist with the unloading of my vehicle off of the car transport. This was the worst experience I've had with uhaul.JUSTINDEANDRE J.
Very unfriendly and they lied about the fuel left in the tank. Most likely to spite me because I explained what I was told at the pickup in Miami and they scoffed. I could have been a repeat customer because I move frequently for business.JONATHAN B.
Upon pick up the gas was well below what was indicated on the contract. I was told to take pictures just incase I was asked. Well I took pictures and was still charged. My contract should have been edited in the system before I left the location, this is a big inconvenience to customers. If I didn't have the available funds in my account I would have been hit with over draft fees in my bank account. This drama is under for the customer. I wasn't even told about the charges I just so happen to check my bank account balance.MARQUITA S.
