The associate Rogar, attempted to cheat me out of my money. I'd already asked for and paid for an appliance dolly. After the transaction, he stated that there was a dolly already in the 15" truck in a blatant attempt to scheme me out of extra money. I reiterated that I requested an appliance dolly. He reluctantly went to the back to provide one. His attitude towards me as a customer was extremely poor and something should definitely be done about this. I'm certain this isn't the first complaint on him and it won't be the last if he continues to treat paying customers this way. AND once I turned the truck back into this location after hours, the website wasn't able to find my location to utilize the online mobile return feature. Which caused me to have a 20 $so called convenience fee added onto my bill. Highway robbery. This location is trash at best. Use at your own risk and watch out for Rogar. He will cheat you.

I've used this location twice. Both times I had issues with GM opening the doors late, up to 10 mins. Yesterday, the building was locked up as though it was closed when I attempted to return my rental, around 3p. When an employee showed up, we were informed the GM disappeared. After getting a number from him to file a complaint, I was informed by the Customer Service rep that the GM had “just quit”. Regarding the vehicle I was provided, by that same GM, it was not cleaned prior to being assigned to me. There were mud spots on the mirrors and the ash tray was full of old cigarette butts and ashes. Due to the yesterday's circumstances around the GM's departure, I am having trouble obtaining a receipt. My rental was for business purposes so I need of a receipt ASAP.

Crooks! Firstly I get there it took forever to get my car granted the gentleman was by himself. The truck is in terrible need of maintenance get in and check engine light was on. Truck swaying while driving. Then when I bring it back it took forever for someone to come out and take the vehicle back and the guy had the nerve to have an attitude with me. Very dissatisfied with this experience.

The website states that this location opens for business at 5 a.m. However, the hours posted on the front door has it opening for business at 7 a.m., which is what time the manager opened. With regards to opening, customers may get confused or frustrated with the discrepancy with the hours.

The Gm there needs more help. He was the only one at the front counter/doing uboxes/hooking up trailers.

I ordered a pick up truck they gave me a moving truck I cancelled it suppose 2 got a new pick up after I reordered they still gave me a van I think the company can do better if everyone is on the same accord the Uhaul main # give u to a different place and the where I got my truck was one person and was a slow process then had trouble getting an extension I couldn't get a trade at a place that had pick ups so I'm kinda pissed on that as well as two different prices from online and the actual place

Truck was clean but tires needed balancing and the front end was poorly aligned. Truck shook at highway speeds.

Y'all gave me one price but charged a hole nother price that wasn't discussed.i was way overcharged an they never tried to call me to notify me that my bill went way over the amount they quoted me.im very disappointed.

Make sure they have everything they requested. I needed a hand truck big enough to move appliances and the truck only had a standard one in it. It was inconvenience because I had to go all the way back to the store to get one.

The employee waiting on customers kept complaining about how tired he was because he worked 2 jobs. I reserved a small trailer on line but when I got there I wanted to look at them to make sure it would be big enough. We arrived at 4:45. We waited for our turn with 2 ahead of us. We got to our turn and requested to look at the trailers. We decided to upgrade so one employee tried to help but couldn't . We were told the file was corrupt and they had to start over. 3 customers that came in behind us were done before we were. The other employee said he would redo our order and kept helping the other customers. He apologized by saying it was the computers fault. But he was steady doing other things. After an hour we finally got a trailer. Please train your employees on customer service and how to use your computer system.

The only problem we had was getting further behind in the move because my son had to come get the card for payment even though I'd already given the lady the number and expiration date. I was told all my son would need was his license so that was an aggravation but other than that it was a very good experience.

Improve the information that is given to customers. I was told that I didn't owe any additional monies for my rental & now I find that I do. I reserved a rental another time priortothis one and after reaching a closed store and doing numerous searches in other locations to rent a truck, was told since my reservation wasn't honored I would receive 50 $in the mail for my time and aggravation of having to endure all this and ended up going back to the same store once they opened five hours later for a truck rental and I still haven't received it. Is this a false guarantee or what?

It is located in a drug infested/homeless area. A person could be mugged/robbed/killed while trying to complete return information at the U Haul site in the U Haul vehicle or in one's car at this location. I returned the U Haul truck with a halft a tank of gas, but I was not compensated for the one-fourth of a tankl overage. HOwever, if I did not return the U Haul truck with at least on-fourth of a tank of gas, I would be charged for it. On December 28, 2020, I had asked the gentleman working that day why I do not receive reimbursement for the extra amount of gas in the U Haul truck. He just said I do not receive money for any gas over the one-fourth required amount. Virginia Lewis

I am a older lady and I was unaware that if I do use my phone to do the self service check I will be charged a extra day. I returned the uhaul and the key around 530 pm that same day but was chart for an extra day. I only use the uhaul one day.

This excellent rating is solely based on the facility and staff. However, the storage price rates are too expensive. If I would've had time to shop around, I would've gone somewhere else to rent a storage room.

Because of the computer it kept sending us a bill and locked us out and we had to have a worker to let us in again that happened twice and we got several letters saying we owed you money when we didn’t .😟

I had a bad encounter with one employee but management took appropriate steps Intervening and addressing my concerns. I than worked with another employee whom was very Pleasant to work with by the name of Courtney. The unit was nice and clean. It was above my expectations being in a small out dated city.

The poor rating is a result of the storage charge I was offered but DECLINED. As of a couple days ago they were demanding I pay 170 $for a unit offered and declined at the time of my trailer rental.

This is not the first time that my family has had frustration dealing with U-Haul in Albany. I waited for a while before I was even offered assistance.

U-Haul of Albany staff was very friendly. When I first moved in, the lights above my storage unit were not working but they were fixed. Overall, I would recommend to others and use the facility again.

Move was a disaster and not delivered to final home address. Albany made truck reservation and did not have a truck at time for pick up. Had to go to Tifton and return in Adel. Never again!

It was average. Long line and few employees but they held everything together and got everyone in and out as quickly as they could. I will rent again should I need to when I am ready to move again.
