No parking - this location also is not what I booked the reservation for. So something was changed. I had originally picked one in Waltham. This is a terrible location with no parking and it was understaffed. I pre-registered and still had to wait in line with about 15 other people who also had the option to "skip the line".

My problem is no with the location, it's with the fact that I reserved a truck for 9am in Somerville MA and was given a truck in Brighton at 1:30pm. This is a bad business model for moving trucks. How are people supposed to plan a move if they don't know when they can get a truck?

When I went to this location to return the truck, I was told I had to return the truck to another location since the lot was full. When I went to the other location, I was told I was not allowed to return there, because I had in-town contract. I went to the original location again and told I had in-town contact and returned there. It was a total nightmare.

Please add clear signs for other customers not to block entrances/exits to the parking lot when returning a vehicle after hours. When we got there last night, someone had blocked the entrance and we had to find parking elsewhere on the street.

Sammual was very helpful with getting our truck in order since the order was completely screwed up with no truck that we ordered at Uhaul of Brighton and we were sent there because the first place (mass Ave) we were told didn't have the truck that we ordered either. Sammual got another truck and gave it to us for the same price and worked with us getting everything straightened out in a very timely manner. He did an outstanding job!

The service here was disgusting. The one person there offered no help when we explained the location problem with drop off and told us "if your paperwork says Harrisburg you will be charged for wrong drop off" when we were told previously Brighton was fine. She also said "you have to call customer service. We tried calling while at the location and it was a 30 minutes wait time. I just tried calling Monday afternoon and it says 60 minute wait time. And now because of this problem uhaul billded me 464 $for excess mileage and wrong drop off. Let the fight begin to get my money back that I should not have been charged for.

Train your customer-facing employees to not be rude, disrespectful, and miserable with the worst possible attitude. The woman helping us literally SWORE at us after we were told they didn't have furniture dollies or furniture pads (that I had reserved with my order) and we asked if we could return the truck later since without a dolly our move would take so much longer. Most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. The truck felt unsafe and as if it was going break down at any moment and the mirrors were cracked and falling apart.

The truck was shot but the location was great and the service was super. Would recommend to a friend since it's Boston and the trucks are likely all in rough shape.

The only reason I didn't give this location an excellent rating is because when I went to pick up my rental that morning which was reserved for 9am I was about 25th on line…maybe there were too many customers scheduled for the same reservation time? This delayed us getting started with our moving day by close to an hour. But the team there is great, they were super helpful.

Great team, Samuel was very helpful and drop off was very easy. It took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Just an exceptional experience. I will use them again and go to this location because of this team and hours of operation was very convenient.

I guess it wasn't the colleagues fault that I made reservations for a 20ft truck (one way) and they didn't have one at the location. I did not receive any form of communication prior to the pickup date indicating such. It was a very stressful experience. I requested that a call be made to customer service to determine what could be done. Only to find out they had a 20ft truck, but I had to return it to that location. I had no choice and I was only 16 miles away so I agreed to the terms. What would had happen if I was farther away? No move? If there are other options for rentals, I'm not sure ii would choose you.

Counter people were great. The whole checkin process is very slow. Need more employees. This was not my first rental experience.

My reservation was for 11am-5pm, I did not even get the first set of keys until 11:30am due to poor service in this location. One lady at the desk was on a personal phone call, the other was texting with a line 5 people deep. When I did finally get the keys I was told I needed to have the truck back by 3 because it got double booked. I could not meet that deadline (obviously). The lady then made a huge deal about it. I took my keys, went outside and they gave me the wrong keys. I had to go back inside, wait 10 minutes to get the keys for the truck. They had to redo my contract. They couldn't tell me how much fuel was in the Uhaul, so they asked I bring it back full. When I got into the Uhaul it was less then half a tank. I did not even get on the road until 11:45 due to poor service. Overall this was a very stressful situation. This is my 6th Uhaul reservation and it's going to be my last.

Per my reservation, I was supposed to pick up the truck at 9 but it was not ready until 9:30. I asked the employee if I was being charged for the full 5 hours despite it being 9:30, and she confirmed that I would be. She also acknowledged on my receipt that I had requested furniture pads but did not give me instructions on how to get them/if they would already be in the truck/etc. so I was charged for items that were not provided to me. When I returned the truck, I mentioned this to a different employee who intercepted the vehicle and he said he would ensure I wouldn't be charged. Final receipt shows the furniture pads I never got to use. The lock on the back of the truck had been damaged previously and was unable to be secured. The employees were also kind of rude to be honest. Not pleased.

I made a reservation with this facility because they were the only ones who had a part that I needed, but when I arrived, they said they didn't have the part. But they said they could install a more expensive part which would involve more labor, and I agreed. BIG MISTAKE!! On my way home (after paying the higher price) I noticed my blinkers no longer worked. I returned, but they said the technician had left for the day. They called him and he walked them through fixing the problem, but that's when he admitted he did get the part I originally ordered and had installed it, but had charged me for the more expensive one. They got my blinkers working again, by unplugging the device he had installed, but the part does not work. I spent a whole day and 160 $(none of which they have refunded, though they told me they did.). I would NEVER use this dishonest facility again.

The AC didn't work, the left side window was broken when I picked it up, the truck squeaked more than usual which worried me. Also was charged an extra 6,00 $ for no reason stated. Also the system you use for the receipt is awful, it showed my balance was supposed to be 53 $but was charged 71,34 $ plus now I see any additional 6,00 $ pending in my bank that is not validated on the receipt. Makes me question who is reviewing the charges or authorizing additional costs without notifying the customer.

Keep the current staff intact. These folks have gone out of their way to make my rental experiences top notch and they all do it with a smile. I always call their store direct because they're the ones I always want on my side. If there was one thing you could do it would be to get some more folks in there just like the ones you have. They all work real hard and they all could probably use a little more help. I don't rent anywhere else.

I was called the day before as planned, they told me a van wasn't available and can't go across state lines. I wish someone/website would have caught this when I put my pick up location as Massachusetts and my drop off location as New York. No alert came up when booking. Then the agent told me my pick up location didn't have the next size truck available, fine. So I asked if they could have one brought over, they said no. Just seems kind of blah but it all worked out. I did love the agent who helped me at my drop off location.

The employee seemed slammed with work, there was a long queue of returned equipment and he seemed to be the only employee, I felt bad for him. I returned my trailer first and he quickly told me to let him know when I had my car off of it, then he would disconnect it. He walked away quickly. I didn't know how to get the tethers off of my car, I ended up watching a YouTube video of Budget Rentals removal for part of the information, then sitting on the ground in the parking lot fiddling with the tethers for a while until I was able to get them off. He did unhitch the trailer after that, but it was something I was totally unprepared to do. If that's common practice, I would suggest including information of how to untether one's vehicle from the trailer beforehand.

U-Haul changed my 24/7 mobile pickup to this location. However, this location does not support 24/7 pickup. Set my move back over an hour because I had to wait for the location to open. The location is great. But U-Haul SHOULD NOT have moved my reservation there without due diligence on whether I could pickup mobile.

Very quick and efficient. Trailer I was supposed to rent was broken, only other option there had to be returned by midnight or early morning. I returned it by midnight and was charged an extra fee (after hours service fee) which I am not happy about since it was Uhaul's equipment that was broken and I accommodated by returning it earlier.

The customer service rep was so rude when I was dropping off. He was the only one behind the counter. He was clearly on a personal call on the speaker phone. I asked him how so I return the truck. He said leave the keys. I said I want to know how much it is and he got mad at me and said I'm busy you'll have to wait I can't do it now. So I waited a few mins and then asked him if there is anyone else working snd he got mad again yelled at me and didn't answer my question. Finally someone else came amd took care of me. It was a terrible experience and I would not go back

Have reserved items available for people who are counting on them. Clean the vehicle, it was disgusting. Have a vehicle that goes into “Park.” And stays in “Park.” Vehicle said three people. Should have said two adults and one four-year old. Also drop off location changed on me. Was not where I designated I would leave it. Had to call and get it changed.

When I came to pick up my trailer (in the afternoon) there was only one woman working, causing a very long wait. To top it off - she was unsubtle to hitch the trailer to my car- and asked me to have to lift the trailer, connect it to the car and secure it to the hitch. This caused me to hurt my back to the point I needed urgent care.

Rude and unprofessional staff (the attendant was on the phone with a personal call the entire time processing my reservation). The truck had a driver's side window open after a night of heavy rain and the inside was all soaked in the cab - when complained to staff, their response - so what do you want me to do about it?

The people behind the desk need some serious customer service help. I walked in and they both just stared at me from the check out I finally asked which one I should go to and that I had a reservation. The reply was “whichever” and then awkward silence. The girl didn't look up from her phone so I went to guy, he did everything right and was very kind afterwards but it was just so awkward at first and not even a hello or anything it felt as if I was doing something wrong.

We rented a truck for a long, single day move. The truck made clanging noises and the a/c only worked intermittently. When we told the agent upon return, he really wasn't interested in my comments. On the flip side, the staff who greeted us in the morning were pleasant, professional and extremely helpful!

Customer service needs improvement! -I had preordered 2 dozen furniture pads and none were available. I asked what alternatives they may have and the clerk showed us to the furniture pads that could be purchased - 14 $for 1. No other alternatives or apologies were offered. -The keys we were given were to a truck that was behind several other trucks and inaccessible. We approached another employee who was outside and he said he was with someone else and we'd have to check with inside. I understand the premise of not being able to do two things at once, however the manner in which he spoke to us definitely leaned towards the rude side. - When we opened the back of the truck it was quite wet inside and we had to use towels that we would have needed to substitute for furniture pads to dry the water.
