Scheduling was awful - nobody seemed to know what to do with picking up/delivering boxes Storage was not what i told it would be - once i got my box delivered to location i was told the nearby driver did not service my location yet when i originally ordered the box trip uhaul said it would be fine IT took over a month for uhaul to finally pick up the box once i had unloaded and called back on it I only gave 5stars to the location since the staff there seemed to be the only ones who would help me receieve/pick up the box The scheduling dept and toll-free number i would give 1 star as they were all unhelpful and clueless as to what to do with these boxes

The person I dealt with when I return the equipment should not deal with any customers. He was uninformed didn't know how to do his job and now it's going to cost me more money because of his mistakes. And unable to fix a payment situation when I give him a different credit card he did not know how to use to change it. the guy has absolutely no business working with the customers he needs to be in the back room somewhere cleaning the bathroom. A terrible representation of your company and this location.

Be sure instructions regarding car trailer are intact. Ours had tiny pieces. Hard to get car on and off with no directions.

My U-Haul wasn't well maintained. I rented the U-Haul for 1 week, and of course it rained. The U-Haul leaked and I had many boxes and items wet/destroyed due to the leaking roof. Also I reserved my U-Haul on line. I had a confirmation email. I went to pick it up, waited in line for over 20 minutes, just to find out they had no record of my reservations. Thankfully they had a truck at the store so I was able to obtain one. Also the staff at the store were all polite and easy to work with when I called them to extend the rental. The truck leaking was not good!

The hitch installer is super fast. Quality of everything was pristine. If you need a hitch installed, take it to there and have it done.

The only suggestion I would have is to consider an upgrade in the tech area -- there were problems with the technology in terms of the conmputer/website interaction being a challenge. Everything was fine, but it did take longer than necessary because of the tech glitches during the "intake."

offer 1/2 day rentals on trailers. discounts for youth groups I.E. scouting or church groups or veterans, not just active duty moving to next duty station .

I was quoted a rate w/ miles and confirmed it twice with the man at desk. Upon returning the vehicle, the lady charged me for miles that the man said "first 100 miles free". She said he was incorrect and I had to pay. Either he was poorly trained and misinformed, or this was a "bait and switch". I've considered submitting to Iowa consumer fraud division. Unacceptable and I'll never use this location again.

I think that the rentals should include 50-100 miles with the rental charge. I also think that if you only need the vehicle for part of the day that there should be a discount on the rental in the form of free miles. I understand you probably don't want to adjust the daily rental fee for half a day, but then the mileage rate should be discounted to half the normal rate.

U-Haul rep. that handled my transaction was 2 days on the job. I was sorry that he had not had the opportunity to receive more training. He had a great attitude. Trailer size that I had reserved was not available...had to substitute a different size.

I only wanted a normal size truck, the U-Haul rep I spoke with when ordering gave me a bigger size truck, which is obviously more expensive per mile. I will not be using U-Haul again.

I didn't personally see the storage facility because my movers delivered my ubox for me, but it was probably fine.
