I was greeted promptly and the staff were very friendly.
Checked in on line, yet they still made me come in and give my driver's license again even though I'd submitted that online. When I asked why, he said they had to verify- so submitting online makes no sense. The employee could not lift and pull the trailer forward to put it on my hitch, so I had to. The trailer was dirty and had a lot of dents and damage. I happened to see the link on my phone and took my own photos to protect myself. This was not explained to me.
Gary was great to work with. This was the morning after a snow & ice storm. In spite of that he made sure I was able to use the trailer I had reserved. He pulled it out of the snow & ice, shoveled off the snow, & hooked up the trailer for me in the cold. I will use this business again & highly recommend to others. The return was also smooth.
Hire better people. Get updated vehicles/equipment.
The trucks interior was littered with pretzel crumbs. The bed was full of snow. I had to wait about 5 minutes for the attendant to unlock and remove an unwanted trailer hitch.
My issues are not with the individual locations but rather the way UHaul works. The online check-in is an absolute nightmare. What a thing to put on people when they're already going through an incredibly stressful experience (i.e. moving). And you can't give a few hours' grace period for vehicle return? Why don't your mileage allowances include the mileage to drive from the UHaul location back to the place you're packing up? I hate UHaul.
This location was well prepared for my drop-off. An individual greeted me as I pulled up. They had all the information available to them on their iPad and the entire transaction was completed in about 2 minutes with virtually no contact. I have used this location before and they have it figured out. I will continue to use them.

Everything went smoothly
Your mobile vehicle checkout sucks big time. Started good. Found my truck, went through the steps, but then the "waiting for approval" icon just kept going. And going. After 5 minutes I went into the store and tell the clerks. One says, "Oh yeah, that takes 15-20 minutes sometimes." They changed it to a manual checkout and had me out in 10 minutes. Would have been half that time if they didn't have to wait on your network so much. You people have some serious technical challenges that need taken care of ASAP.
I greatly appreciate the very good service starting with the phone call I made inquiring about the equipment I needed to move a piano, good caring staff when I picked up the trailer, (including the challenge of learning my pickup right light wasn't working properly), & easy return support when I had completed my mission. To improve next customer: keep doing what you are. Thank you.
Get rid of that junk trailer and get a new one
The wait time in line is very long. The problem seemed to be slow computers. The wait time in coralville is ALWAYS quite long.

Gary was excellent. Prepared to get us in a truck right away. Polite and professional. He did a tremendous job. Because of people like Gary, I use U-Haul.
There was a 20 minute wait to get the vehicle pulled up.

The experience was great overall- We thought the price was a little high For that short trip — It would be nice if you all just had a one day rental instead of three day minimum but overall the vehicle in the experience was good
I had 1300miles to use and 5 days to return the U Haul truck. I returned it in less than 5 days and there was extra miles I haven't used. When this happens, i feel like the customer should get some of their money back because they didn't use all 1300miles and 5 days.
Great service
This location is the closest to me. It's the only reason I use it. The staff is generally slow and often indifferent .
