The 5x8 trailer rented had two new tires; one had 65 lbs air & the other side only 35 lbs. This is basic checking need improved. I asked attendant if they greased the hitch socket; received affirmative reply. Discovered it was dry when several days later it had loosened the ball nut during turns. Other than these two issues, trailer trailed well and carried rated load nicely.Roderick B.
Have better supply of trucks within the area. I was informed 1 day before my move I had to drive 72 miles to pick up "a" truck- not the size I reserved and certainly not the place I reserved it from. Had to rearrange time for my loaders to be there and the time I was planning on leaving. Not convinient! This was not the fault of location I picked it up at, but of U-Haul itself.VICKIE V.

Paying per mile sucks. It was much better when it was unlimited miles. The trucks are starting to show their age as well. They should be upgraded to save the customer gas, safety and everything else that comes with newer equipment.JENNIFER H.

The lady that helped me over charged me but the guy that took the truck fixed it. When I first got in there was a Gatorade bottle, no problem but my boyfriend forgot his phone in the truck and when I asked them to look and see they said it wasn't but we are welcome to come look, he found it right away after I had to drive back taking 20 minutes men I was already exhausted. I dont normally have a problem but I think it was one employee with a poor work ethic because we heard 2 different coworkers who we heard sounding irritated with him.LISA B.
Never was notified of pick up location. Reserved online. Do not appreciate that neither size of rental or pick up location are supposed to be confirmed until day before move. In our case never received confirmation but calked local uhaul and they confirmed.Michael C.

I left comments in my closeout return process in your App. The experience was horrible! I booked well in advance for an 8am pickup in Coralville, IA and was GUARANTEED Mobile App pickup (Truck Share or whatever you call it). I arrived at 7:50am and as I clicked on the link to Pick Up my truck, I was given a message that the rental would be Hand Delivered from staff in the store. The store opened at 9am! I had 11 people waiting at the location where the move was taking place and the final delay was over 90 minutes. I called customer service #s trying to reconcile things only to be misdirected and misinformed and eventually handed to a person who was taking calls for the first time. Without a solution I was forced to wait for staff onsite and then was given a 26-ft truck in the worst condition I could imagine. There were 8 other trucks on the lot that ALL looked better. My rental had dents and scratches, was obviously very aged and drove very rough - no air ride in that old model. The noise of the truck was difficult to even speak over while in the cab, and leaking air around the windshield and door seals made it a very noisy ride. I still managed to get the truck back to Coralville in advance of my originally scheduled end time, and asked for a discount on my fuel and any extra miles as a courtesy. I'm assuming by my bill I did not receive these. I will NOT be recommending or using your services again if I can help it. The Coralville store's ratings were already very low and my personal experience will only decrease this further. I had more faith in Uhaul than this but your level of service has severely decreased.Paul F.

The guys who tried to help me and my daughter were so incredibly helpful and patient. My daughter's car is lowered, so we couldn't get it up onto the tow attachment without an issue. The 2 guys (I believe one was named Travis but I didn't catch the other ones name), literally tried everything in order to get the car on the tow. Although they were unsuccessful, I appreciated the fact that they patiently attempted everythingâ€"they even stayed past closing time to help us. They ended up refunding me for the tow hitch and I ended up driving the uhaul back to NJ while my daughter drove her car.Sheena B.

The chain had a hook missing. Instead of replacing the hook, they just bolted it to the frame and i had to MacGyver the safety chains myself. Otherwise it was a seamless and great experience.MATTHEW M.

The driver, Rich, was excellent to work with. He called to confirm that he was dropping the container in the correct location and oriented it properly with ample room to load it. In the rush to pack my family's belongings, I accidentally left my water bottle behind. Rich graciously picked up the water bottle, which was left outside of the container, and delivered it to my home with the container. Superior customer service! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone!dayna B.

First of all they over charged me. I had the truck from 8:00 to 5:30 and they charged me for two days. They also charged me double for the pads that I rented. I had been gone from U Haul for one hour and got this text. Thank you for choosing U-Haul! Your order number is : 20299192. Your rental is due back in 3 hours at 11:59am CDT. Your drop-off location is U-HAUL OF CORALVILLE located at 2601 2ND ST, CORALVILLE IA. If you are dropping equipment after hours please use your mobile device to verify your equipment return by going to this link: https://www.uhaul.com/Orders/OrderDetail.aspx?resid=20299192&ln=Fritz or you can choose to have us verify it for you the next day for a 20 $convenience fee. As if moving isn't stressful enough and they are telling me to return the truck four hours after I rented it!! So I called and they couldn't figure out why I got the text! When I called to dispute my bill(my husband returned the truck) the gentleman said he would refund the daily truck rental and furniture pad fee but didn't know what the tax was on so wouldn't be refunding any tax. Of course the manager wasn't available so I have to call her back tomorrow. Now I wait and wonder if I will really get my money refunded. A very exasperating experience!!Michael F.

The vehicle I picked up already had damage to the roof (minor dents) and quick claim stickers, but I'm sure it's all on file already so I was only concerned I might be suspected of further damage caused by the previous driver(s). Otherwise I asked if I could use the GMC over the Transit this time around and it was available so it worked great. The alternator also showed signs of going out (battery voltage gauge kept reading high, then low, indicating a fault. But held out for the entirety of my needs so still good there as well but it could degrade for future customers building to a dead battery.Francis T.
