Truck driver door needs repair. It does not close properly but needs to be slammed. The first stop I locked the door, it did not close properly, then I couldn't unlock it. The ignition switch is broken. It does not turn properly but does after multiple attempts by moving the key about. This is not a pleasant experience to believe you are locked out of the rental while you are on the road. Then get the door open and the vehicle does not start. I let the attendant know about these issues on return and he said that he knew about the issues. This vehicle needs repair before sending other out in it! I was charged a 25 $fee for leaving some dirt in the back of the vehicle. It was not overwhelming, clean up time about 2 minutes. I did not have a broom with me at delivery. The gentleman who hooked up the trailer (He spoke English with a strong African accent) was not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful but was the epitome of customer service. He trouble shot the electrical (UHAUL installed) trailer connection and made necessary repairs on the spot. Outstanding service! Merci

Booking process is confusing. Truck is booked at a daily rate but then I find out I can only have it for 6 hrs because that's what I indicated was the likely time I would need. This needs to be clearer on the website. Billing me for my own estimated mileage and then crediting me when I come back with less is also confusing.

Great place. Because of the condition of the truck they decided not to log it in so that it would not be rented to anyone. Yet they forgot to log it in so the day it was due Uhaul was calling me asking where it was. That's an issue. I get it and appreciate the thought.

My contract was due on May 1st 7am, I drop off my truck a day before (4/30/2021) and more than 24 hours later my truck still showing in USE, I went to the location after calling 2 times and talk to the manager who told me that im good to go, 2 hours later finally they close my contract but Now they charge me extra because they took so much time to end the contract, so it is showing that i return my vehicle late, when i returned and day before it was due. Now im waiting for my refund.

I think the people who work at the counter should remember that not everybody is familiar with the process of renting a truck. There was a latent impatience and unfriendliness from their part. Hope it's an exception, not a rule.

Employee at the counter was difficult to deal with. Poor attitude or angry at something, not sure. I wanted out as fast as possible. The initial rental ad is very misleading and in no way reflects the end cost. It would have been cheaper at a rental car business.

Hi, I ordered a uhaul and was unable to request a new drop off location so I cancelled the reservation and have yet to receive a refund. When I ordered a 2nd uhaul, the truck came without the dollies that I paid for.

The price was fair and accurate -- no tricks! Took a long while to check in and get my vehicle even though I had a reservation. There was a line. Not the employee's fault, though; some of the transactions take a long time. U-haul really needs to get their people some help. If there's a constant line, they can afford to have more than one person behind the counter.

There was some debris in the trailerâ€"sand and dirt that we had to sweep out. Otherwise, it was a great experience. We have always found the Falls Church (on Broad Street) location to be very helpful and courteous.

Nothing wrong with the location or the personnel, but there are way too many issues with your website and the reservation process. Spending 45 minutes trying to access the reservation is beyond ridiculous. Next time I'll just wait in line and make the reservation in person.

Used this location for 6 or 7 years. The equipment has been consistently great, the service at reception and drop off has been very good. They may be busy from time-to-time, sometime a short wait, but they have great inventory and lots of customers, so the occasional wait is fine.

When reserving online and you get a message that someone will call you to confirm a reservation for an item that may not be available, add a timeline in which one would receive the call. No call so I went to the location, item not available, ended up renting another item, customer representative was very busy, a line out the door, she advised me on the quickest way to change reservation since their system was not cooperating. It all worked out, I was very happy in the end and will continue doing business at that location. Employees in the office and outside were great ðŸ'ðŸ» ðŸ'ðŸ»ðŸ'ðŸ»

I ordered furniture pads when I made the reservation two weeks in advance. When I picked up my truck, the saleswoman simply said "We don't have any" without offering any explanation or apology for not having my reserved materials ready. I also had to tell the personnel who gave me the truck that I needed dollies--also already paid for. What is the point of making reservations if the customer has to track what equipment is in the truck and half of the equipment is not available?

I rented a 5x8 trailer and the process was super easy from start to finish. I was really happy I could return it after hours without any drama or extra charge. Uhaul trailers really are the best. I will be back again next month!

The truck we got was pretty banged up, but the Manager there is amazing and worth going to get top notch customer service. The call center is a disaster though! I made my reservations a month in advance and they totally messed it up! Luckily the manager helped out and was able to find me a second truck last minute on a week-end.

It was after hours and the location services would not register me on the app nor could I login to put my information. I was charged 20,00 $ for a drop off but I did try and use the app.

One concern with the store is the person who sanitizes the vehicle on return is yelling at everyone. The Mobile app demands photos to be taken on return and this person is keep shouting at everybody to leave and move. As a customer felt really uncomfortable. The Mobile check-in is not actually contactless. You need to again go in store multiple times. The dolly which I ordered was not in the vehicle and I need to go in to collect it. To collect keys again you need to into store. There's already a big line in-store. Wish they have already kept the dollies (which are ordered online) ready in the vehicle or some kind of self check out. Be ready to spend 30mins during pick up. Otherwise its all okay

I was suppose to have blankets, never got them. I told the guy when I returned, and he said I would be refunded I didn't get refunded for the blankets. I had a feeling that I wasn't going to get refunded, because the guy sounded like he was just trying to get me out of his face.

I love this Uhaul rental!! I drove passed one that was closer and in between where the move was from and two but because; the parking lot was so cluttered with vehicles all over the place, and workers trying to get work for the day running up to my car....I had my daughter with me...I didn't get out and came straight to this one again. The customer service is always professional, the store and parking lot is always clean and organized, even the employees are pleasant! Thank you Uhaul for always making my moves so easy!

Not offering on-site parking for short-term in-town rentals makes doing them very difficult. Staff unwilling to help in any way, and this limitation is not prominently displayed anywhere on the website, or during the booking process. I would have brought my business to Home Depot where you can park your car while you rent a pickup truck.

I am sorry I do not remember the name of the gentleman who helped me (he rented the trailer to me, and then handled my return of the equipment and the associated early-return refund and paper work). He could not have been more helpful or pleasant; a perfect employee. He should be rewarded and is exactly the kind of employee you should promote to handle more responsibility. He is good for your business! With one (TERRIBLE) exception, I have had extremely good experiences with U-Haul over the years. This most recent rental was another good experience.

I couldn't believe how smoothly the drop-off went. Timing was part of it. Big line behind me. The only thing they didn't do was explain that I was done. But they were busy.

I was charged for refueling having driven only 9 miles. I showed my receipt for adding fuel as well. It was very annoying and I realize it is only 6,80 $, but every penny counts in these trying times.
