Got there around closing time to drop off my rental trailer. There was no one in the front store area to help me and I had to go to the back find someone. The employee said someone would come help me but no one came. Then found out they were waiting for me outside. I went out and the employee was not very friendly and did not communicate well at all. After being outside for awhile he looked at me and said "do you need help or something?" He did not tell me he was done checking me in, and I had to ask where to drop the trailer. I will not be using this location again.

Katie is the most awesome U-Haul rep ever! She is totally competent and a pleasure to deal with. Giving her highest possible marks for service, understanding, ability, efficiency, personality and team spirit. Equipment was new, really enjoy all improvements to the 5x8 trailer. This is second 5x8 in two weeks, last week went from Fort Collins, CO to Dallas, TX. And this site has really kept it clean and neat. Highest marks possible for Huntington Hills U-Haul Team

The on-line system did not work. I was not able to get the vehicle without going into the store. I answered all the questions on-line and provided all the information but when I went to log in prior to picking up the vehicle, it would not accept my phone number. Ironically, I received a text from UHaul to that number but it did not accept it on-line.

I reserved a 15' truck and an appliance dolly. When I arrived to pick up the truck and appliance dolly I was told (after I had already gone through the sign in/payment process) that there were no appliance dollys available. I was told at that time that the charge would be removed. Since I was going to pick up a refrigerator this of course became a pretty big inconvenience. When I returned that evening to drop off the truck, there appeared to be only one person working and was seemingly getting overwhelmed with the number of customers dropping off trucks/trailers at that time. I made the employee aware of the fact that I never received the appliance dolly and that I would like that charge to be removed. He of course assured me it would be. It was not. Ultimately, after calling customer service, the situation has been resolved. However, the charge should have been removed immediately and I should have never had to follow up with customer service. There should be better follow through from the time a reservation is made to the time it is completed.

Rented in person. Staff seemed more interested in chatting w each other than processing my rental. Poor face to face customer service. If another location were closer, I would not use this location. Equipment was satisfactory but not great. Clerk gave me the keys and said its out front somewhere. Wtf.

I took the vehicle when the mileage was 17064.6 and when i returned it was 17064.8 but they charged for 0.8. The vehicle has cracked window shield and transmission was also not fluent, it's keep on changing from Drive mode to Manual mode but some how i managed the get it work.

The tech that verified the trailer lights were working was incorrect. The employee at U-Haul ripped the whole thing apart trying to fix it and he did everything he could do to get the lights working. I thought the service he provided was great. He could have just sent us to a different location to get a different trailer and he chose to work on it instead. We really appreciated that.

Nothing, every employee was super helpful and went above and beyond. Neither 4 or 7 pin plug was working and the employee offered to check the fuse. Sure enough, the fuse was bad and he replaced with another one and got me on my way. Uhaul has definitely improved over the years. Btw....this location was the most organized Uhaul location I have ever visited. Everything was in place, orderly & tidy. Great experience, keep up the good work!

I rented the trailer to move a piano. Before the rental I called to inquire about a ramp bd was told the back of the trailer was a door/ramp. I also took note of the dimensions posted on the website. However the trailer was not functional because the doorway was not tall enough. I would like a full refund because I wound up having to rent a ramp and it still didn't work because of the lack of accuracy.

Although the facility and staff were friendly and helpful, this center sent us on the road with a damaged tow dolly that had a questionable tire as well, even after my husband asked about the dolly's and tire's condition. He was told that it was ok and would do fine even though we were traveling from Fort Collins, CO to Chapel Hill, TX - not a short haul. As expected, the tire grew worse, and we had to stop for help halfway through the trip.

The trailer was dirty on the exterior when I picked it up which wasn't a problem. I rented the trailer for $14.95/day plus the $8 tow insurance. I had to extend that trailer for a few days and it went from $30 to $125 for 3 additional days. Just be very clear when extending what they are charging you for. The $14.95/day suddenly became $18.95/day

The truck was fine, although quite loud in the cab. Lots of ambient road noise. The radio, which is very important on long trips, was just adequate. There should be an indicator in the cab that indicates the position of the rear roll-up door.

Minor negative and Major positive. Equipment not perfect but the people were great. The bad: The windshield had some kind of blurry coating on the inside and the windshield wiper missed a 3 inch path across the middle reducing visibility. The trailer brake system on the tongue was damaged and misaligned so looked like it was ineffective. The good: Every person I came in contact with at the two locations which was about 6 was very helpful even going above and beyond. I had to call twice to extend my time and was always treated with respect and kindness. The truck and trailer performed very well.

Getting thru 2 major snow storm from Montana thru wyoming was an absolute nightmare and finally having to ask for help having not been able to get home. Pickup location. Friendly and good service. To improve, suggest being transparent about the extra miles and moles allocated for a trip. Feels like I was nickeled and dimed for a poor end of process experience. Will be using competition Penske or Budget next round. Also corporate is terrible. Called me twice about whether or not I returned the unit instead of calling location. Annoyance. You should refund my miles charges. I drive from location to home and then to unit in Steamboat then drop off.

I documented the fuel level was less than full through the U-Haul app before departing the facility, but was advised by the Fort Collins U-Haul staff that I must return the truck with a full tank or be charged four-dollars per gallon to fill the tank. The small print in the contract probably states that I was only obligated to return the truck with an equal amount of fuel that was documented. In any case it is absurd to burden a new customer with a truck not appropriately prepared for rental. Either the previous customer failed to fill the tank or the Fort Collins rental center did not fully prepare the truck for rental. I drove the truck only twenty miles but it took nearly five-gallons of fuel to fill the tank. I asked for a credit but was denied without explanation. I have come to expect little professional service or courtesy from most U-Haul rental centers, but having this experience I will never depart a rental center in the future if the fuel tank is less than full.

The check in staff should inform the incoming customers on what to do, how long it will take, how they are checking you in, and that there is really no paperwork to do. The check in staff was non communicative, did not say one word, assumed I knew how to do everything. The back yard helper was good. I use this site often.

What a pathetic operation. On 10/27, the last of my 4 containers was returned to Uhaul for shipping.. That same day PODS picked up their container. PODS arrived AT MY HOME 11/5. 3 of my 4 Uboxes arrived AT Uhaul on 11/9. I called the next morning to schedule self delivery. I was told I couldn't pick it up until the next day.at 7:00 AM at 6100 S. College Ave.. Fortunately for me, I got a call from the storage manager who told me I couldn't pick up until 9:00 and the pick up location differed from what I was originally told. As for my 4th container, that is "scheduled" to ship today from Florida. THAT IS 18 DAYS FROM WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. There is no excuse for why it wasn't sent with the other 3 containers. I've spent about $4000 so far at Uhaul and now I'm going to pay more for shipping because the 4th box wasn't sent with the first 3. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED O0F YOUR OPERATIONS!!!!!!

They were three days late picking up the boxes, which caused problems. They never called me to tell me they wouldn’t get the boxes. I had to call each day and get an explanation as to why they hadn’t.

We rented 3 U-Box containers. The people who delivered them were very nice and helpful. The containers came on trailers which we had not accounted for and there were trash and debris in two of them.
