Made the reservation for 8 but was not able to get The van until 9. If I was told this respectfully I would have been perfectly fine with it because I was in no hurry but the person who was there outside sort of yelled at me when I arrived. I was intimidated by him for the rest of the interaction. The staff who took the van after I used it was pleasant and kind.

You expected me to spend 20 minutes of MY TIME late at night, after a long time of moving, going through a website, taking pictures for you to return the truck!!?? You’ve gotta be kidding me!! The employee didn’t tell me that, though he was very good otherwise. Guess this process keeps the employee numbers down and executive pay up!!! Ha?? Going to mention this to everyone I know and try to come up with alternates to Uhaul. You were terrible 20 years ago. Got better with better equipment and now your cheaping our this way, because your basically a monopoly and can.

Computer system was down and not processing card payments, so I had to use cash. Waited over 30 minutes while staff repeatedly tried to process my order. Trailer was clean, but the trailer light connector loop was damaged so I had to use my own.

The person that I dealt with was very friendly and accommodating but when we returned the truck, we were charged $95.32 for a small dent that we did not cause. I borrowed a pickup truck for 24 hours. I drove directly home and returned the truck the following day. The truck was parked in my driveway all night.I take responsibility for not doing a thorough walk around before leaving haul with the truck but the employee pointed out 2 areas of small dents and we never walked around to the passenger side. It makes me not want to use the uhaul in Northampton ever again. Someone didn't do their job when they accepted the truck back and I paid for it.

Ryan and his colleague were super helpful with the Uhaul truck rental. They had the truck running and left the heater on so it would be warm when I drove it off the lot. Highly recommend. Very professional and good customer service. Thanks.

The floor was covered in a black grease that I didn't notice until I got to my destination and it was all over my stuff :-( However, the young man who set up my trailer the day I picked it up was above and beyond helpful and kind :-)

The exit from the uhaul on to king street was terrifying. Could not see to the right at all for a left hand turn. But customer service was friendly and vehicle worked well!

Very efficient getting me in and out. Only problem was requirement for calling another person to verify my identity. That is strange as they had my license. Also, neither I nor anyone else answers unknown phone numbers. So a problem. They need to let people know in advance if secondary ID information is required.

Expand the location. The only drawback, and it's minor, is that the business needs a bigger lot.

Everything was very easy. There were many vans and trucks to choose from, and the staff here are helpful and kind.

The software used to book a reservation, change any detail (ie: truck size) and then when picking up the truck is just ridiculously cumbersome and seemingly archaic! After reserving 2 trucks for 2 different dates and different destinations including giving a credit card to hold the reservations & mileage for both trips, we had to give all this info AGAIN when we picked up 1st truck, when we changed size of second truck & when we picked up the 2nd truck! Very annoying & time consuming to look up/ re-estimate the mileage as NON of the detailed info imputed for the rentals was Ever saved in the system!?! The guys working were nice enough but their explanation was to say “sometimes it saves & sometimes it doesn’t” my experience is it never saves the info & this system needs to be upgraded. This is a frustrating stressful time for many & adding this on top is ridiculous in my opinion. Taking all the info to give an estimated price but then to not have access to this detail behind the price? Come on.

Based on some computer glitch or communication breakdown, I was unable to pick up my vehicle via 24/7 pickup as requested the night before or even at my scheduled pick-up reservation time. I was forced to return to the UHaul center 3X and finally was able to secure a vehicle when office opened at 9am. The customer service from the national 1800-GO-U-HAUL overnight was horrendous and it really cost me a lot of time and stress. Based on this I cannot recommend UHaul to anyone, though it does not seem to be the fault of the local manager. Still, it was not smooth at all!!

The employee, although he did ultimately resolve my issue, was a bit condescending and rude. I rented a van on two separate occasions this week and both times the same employee left that impression when I returned my equipment.

I disagree with the return fee. I dropped off a trailer after hours and took pictures. I didn't realize that I couldn't complete the after hours return from home. I tried, but failed to upload the pictures. I called at 8 am the following morning and a $20 fee had been charged. i called to dispute the fee, but was the request was denied. Everything else was ok, but this is "nickel and diming". The trailer was useful and returned in perfect condition.

The web site is difficult to navigate and has too many steps. I would recommend th anyone that they skip the internet and just call the location.

Only comment I can make is that it was under staffed, had to wait in line for 20 minutes to pick up appliance dolly I had reserved. It was a Saturday morning but there was only one staff member working. The guy multitasked as best he could be he should have had some help.

Staff is efficient and works hard to please customers at a busy store. BUT: be sure to review your contract thoroughly before signing. Even though I declined the insurance, I was still charged a "SafeTrip Fee" that I did not catch before signing, and that the staff did not go over with me. I'm not happy about this "upcharge" practice that UHaul apparently has as a way to sneakily get more money out of their customers. Not happy at all ...
