I was originally sent to the Hadley location and then told first that I wasn’t on the schedule and then directed to Northampton, both throwing off my moving schedule and greatly increasing the miles that I needed to travel with the UHaul without any compensation for the difference. I was called however I was packing all day so I wasn’t checking my phone. I still think that an automated email could have taken a lot of frustration out of this whole experience. Also telling the location about any resceduling from their location so the customer won’t just be told that i’m not on the schedule. Other than the change of location, the Northampton location was very put together and the experience there was smooth.

I am satisfied with the service I got, but I pay 8$ dollar gas fee which I think it was unfair charge. Because I tried to load the missing fuel, but pump does not allow me to load further since the tank was already full. However, fuel indicator on the dash was showing around 7/8 fuel and cashier at the vehicle return charge me a fee, on top of my fuel purchase.

The crew at this location is always friendly and very upbeat, despite being very busy with lots of customers. There was never a rush to get thru the rental process. The only problem was the roll up rear door was a little difficult to raise, but other than that all went well. Thanks guys.

Pad lock on the back of the truck did not work despite a couple of squirts of graphite... but we had plenty of locks at home so it wasn't. I did find the online ordering a bit of a struggle. While I was attempting to figure prices for truck sizes and rental days, each time I backed out after calculations the site had reserved 4 different trucks. I ended up with customer service and they were able to fix me up. Always delighted with the locations service.

The measurements of the truck should tell the bed length of the truck. I rented a 15' truck to move 12' panels. I should have been able to fit 30 in the truck. But the truck bed was just a tiny bit under 12' with the door closed so i was only able to fit 12 panels in on an angle. i had to take two trips to pick up 24 panels and waste an entire day plus double the gas and mileage. I was given a $35 credit but that didn't come close to covering the extra money and time I wasted. The people working there were fantastic. Mark did his best to make the situation right. They were all helpful, courteous and apologetic.

Overall great experience. Friendly, helpful staff, no wait time, the van was ready when I went to pick it up. The only kink in an otherwise excellent experience is, when I reserved the van on line, they said to pick it up another location. I printed out the information and thought I was good to go. When I got there at the designated time, they said they didn’t have any vans, and knew nothing about my reservation. The very nice proprietor asked if UHual sent me a message, sure enough they had sent me a text confirmation my reservation for a pickup at the North king Street address. Sure enough, it was there, waiting!

Jeramy was the young man that I worked with Sunday morning May 13. He was helpful, courteous and friendly. He explained all the important information I needed to drive the van I reserved. The Ford van was perfect for the task. It rode well and used a much smaller amount of gasoline than expected. The lady that took my reservation on Saturday misinformed me about parking my car on site as I expected to return Sunday evening late after the store closed. She was quick to make the reservation and very helpful. When I called Monday morning, I spoke with the store manager. I reported that I had some difficulty removing the ignition key. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I had a very difficult encounter with a Brooklyn CT UHaul and a mix up in reservation date from an on line reservation to be addressed with corporate customer relations. When you get a truck they tell you it's full tank but needle for gasis just a little under full I filled it up and the needle was over what they say it was full

Clean equipment. In my two most recent rentals the trucks had obviously not been cleaned at all. In the first case the back had broken glass, and in the second the floor of the back and the cap where quite muddy. Also the truck for my most recent rental was old and consequently had low fuel efficiency.

I made a reservation for the day and there was a no show at this store. i waited till 11:30, for 10 am appointment. i called Holyoke U haul; i drove 20 miles and got a truck. I was unable to drive back 20 miles to Holyoke to drop it off. Please refund my money for this inconvenience. I had to drive more then the allotted 30 miles and then got charged an additional $4.25

When the unit was picked up one of your employees had called out and therefore the one employee was obviously overwhelmed and did not go over the vehicle as is customary. Before loading we had to clean the floor of the truck and it was swept before it was returned. I then was charged a cleaning fee and will be disputing that charge.

I love my local location, but the call center was terrible. They quoted me an inaccurate rental price and cost me an extra $60. Had I known the real cost I would have only rented for one day.
