My period of schedule was 24 hours, it showed 6 hours fixed by a Customer Service Manager, but the store didn't care at all. I reserved, 2 dollies ( One large one for the fridge and a smaller one) both not available on pick up. My Pick location was change 2x ( I did get a mile reduction charge). But the missing dollies were a killer for me. Horrible service.RENZO M.

Examine trucks before renting out. Inconveniently held up on moving day due to gas line cut which apparently is a common issue at this location. If it's a common issue, equipment should be reviewed after each return so that another customer does not rent that same truck out.Theresa M.

I didn't get my trailer at my original location that I requested and ordered it from which caused a huge delay. Also when I returned my trailer to this location early (the same day) but after hours, I received a call the next day asking where the trailer was which was really disconcerting since I had already returned it the day before.MELISSA M.

The location was changed on me the day before pickup. I didn't receive blankets but was still charged for them. The gas tank was near empty when I left the U-Haul store, but I was then charged to fill the entire tank. Which I didn't use. Not a great experience.JESSE A.

The young gentleman with the thick glasses frames could not have been less helpful. Was very short and standoffish when I asked him any questions. He seemed annoyed that I would even ask anything such as â€œhow I can return the car.â€ When I returned to drop the van off, he ignored me when I approached him. He was closing up shop and clearly did not want to answer any questions. I simply wanted to make sure I parked the vehicle in the correct space. He was very rude and clearly did not want to do his job. He just shouted â€œlook it up on the website!â€ When I asked where to put the keys or park the car. Not sure what his problem was. Defiantly won't ever come back after being treated so poorly. Will consider other options as I still have moving needs.SUMMER M.

The guy helping was vulgar not helpful and specific. I returned a hitch I did not need, and the clerk did not refund the hitch. The money has not gone to my card yet after 5 business days. I am going to to have to call corporate and my bank to see what happened to my money.ABRAHAM C.

This doesn't have anything to do with the location, but more just kinda the policy. The mileage rate is a little steep and the rental terms are unclear online vs in store. I'd rather pay a little more for a base rate and have mileage included than deal with feeling nickel and dimed per mile. It's a little shocking to get an 80 $bill to have done a quick drive around town, when online it feels so cheap as advertised.PAUL V.
Misleading Clerk information, she stated lower price for insurance prior to submitting order. Truck was not clean AND photos representing condition were inaccurate. Allowing laborers to mix with employee inside the premises is confusing. Poor experience overall.HUGO M.

There was only one nice employee we encountered in the 3 visits we made to the location. The staff were otherwise unprofessional and plain rude. I also experienced them being rude to pretty much every other customer they helped. 3 people walked out of the store angry before we even made it to the clerk at the computer. 10/10 would not recommend this location to anyone and I will never be renting from uhaul again given how unprofessional this experience was. The truck was dirty and not well maintained. Uhaul needs to do better.ELI M.

Improve by making it easier to drive through and pickup the trailer with ease...this would require larger lots and logistics planning. It was more hodpoge at the moment. Maybe seperate truck rental from trailers as hookup takes time. Loved the 24hour drop off. If I knew about or if there is 24hr pickup that would be awesome. Trailer was missing wiring extension but solved easily. Would have liked a pull through drop off but I am just dreaming. LolDavid K.

for those using 24/7 rental, make sure the equipment is ready and not blocked off by another vehicle. I didn't mind having to go inside, but other customers may be inconvenienced because they purposely opted for a contact-free experienceMckenzie T.

I went in person to the Lankershim & Victory location and gave my wishes. When I got the confirmation the reservation was all messed up. I ended up calling the Service Center and after being on hold for over 25 minutes I was able to get a new reservation but not at the location I wanted. Needless to say the Van Nuys facility seems to have it going on. The gal who helped me was on the spot and the yard man was helpful and even though very busy when I returned the auto transport he was still smiling and efficient. KUDOS to this location, even though its a bit out of the way for me, I won't be hoing to Lankershim cuz they can't get it right....even when you give them the information in person.FRANK B.

When I tryied reserving the trailer on line, the program would take me to a location near me, and then informed me "not available at this location" so I kept trying different locations and it would say the same thing. Why would the program allow the option of a location if it not available at that location? I called to reserve. It took too many steps to get to a live person. The live person was fine, however, I was uncomfortable giving credit card information over the phone. The worst part was arriving at the store. I arrived and there was a long line of people. There was one employee at the register, which seemed not enough especially during the Sunday morning rush hour. The employee didn't seem to be an in rush even though there was a line. When I finally did arrive, the check out process seemed slow. The same questions that I answered over the phone were being asked again. Also, it seemed odd for her to take a photo of my drivers license. The guy who hooked up the trailer was fast which was good. Also, the guy who removed the trailer was good and fast.SAMUEL A.

Bed of Truck was dirty when picked up. Did not apologize or offer any discount for dirty truck. The guy who checked in the truck was inattentive smoking from a vap pipe and talking to his co-workers while I stand there waiting for him to check the truck in.DARRYL S.

THE WORST U-Haul experience I have ever had with both locations I visited. I originally booked my reservation at U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Hills and they did NOT have the truck I reserved because according to the employee, they had "overbooked" that size/model. This was completely UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this experience as they then sent me to a different location much further than my destination with did not have the size truck I rented either and I ended up with the larger truck which I did not want or need. Larger truck equals larger gas tank which means I ended up paying more for something I did NOT reserve which was extremely disappointing and ENRAGING. Not to mention, the actual truck was completely run down and filthy compared to U-Haul trucks I have rented in the past. THIS WAS THE WORST U-HAUL EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH U-HAUL IN THE FUTURE. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. A gentlemen outside of the U-Haul office offered his card for his personal pick-up trucks which he rents out and normally I would not do business with such a solicitor, however, this awful U-Haul experience has forced me to take my business elsewhere and I will be utilizing this man's service for my future truck rental needs. It's a good thing people like this hang around outside of the door at U-Haul locations, otherwise I might be stuck giving my money to U-Haul in the future. So thank you for this putrid experience as I shall give my business to the solicitor and no longer return to U-Haul.ROBERT M.

The truck wasn't ready with the correct dolly's that I ordered, and there were no pads available which I also reserved. It all got taken care of, and I appreciate it. I just think it should be ready as ordered when you reserve it a couple weeks ahead.jennifer R.

First its customer service with uhale that was bad I had to drive to 5 different locations to get a truck they had no idea which place actually had one made me go to different locations only to find there was no truck. They promised me a 50 dollar credit which I never got. Was on hold for 1 hour. Truck had some spray from the inside on the windshield which at night made seeing hard. My job was delayed for hours and could not finish in darkness ended up costing me more time and money. Worst experience I've had.GARNIK T.
