The employees in the office were very nice and efficient. The guys outside didn’t move much. I had to go to them to ask them for my van. They were too busy talking to each other even though I was waiting. On the return it was the same with the outside employees.

Although the staff were all competent and friendly the surrounding area is full of homeless people. I had the unfortunate experience of getting a trailer with a nude homeless woman in the back. The attendant had brought the trailer around and hooked it up to my truck. I was performing a walk around inspection and when I came around the back a woman wearing a robe and nothing else was climbing out of the back of the trailer with a few small possessions. The trailer stunk of urine and had not been washed after the last use. I think more should be done to secure the trailers to prevent the spread of filth, disease, or personal injury. The attendant was very apologetic when he realized what had happened. He informed me that it was their policy not to be able to lock trailers when idle. Maybe this should be changed. Calling a friend to verify me after renting from UHaul for year is a horrible inconvience. Taking picture of me standing by the truck is just plain invasion of privacy. Having stag that has no graceful way to explain it is why we will rent anywhere else but your company.

At pickup time I was forced to provide another person to vouch for my ability to assure return of the trailer. I have used this location often in the past but was unable to comply with such a person. I was furious and felt badly for the counter person who could not do anything about the policy since the Owner/Boss was not available. Very, very dissatisfied and will not return.

Waited 32 minutes to check into “express check in” , one guy , 5 people in line. Truck was dirty, been through a big storm. Had to wash windshield and mirrors.

Terrible customer service. I was told to return the uhaul back to Van Nuys since “I was doing an in town move.” I moved from Sherman oaks to oak park California. Not even close to an “in town move.” I was charged extra for driving the vehicle back to van Nuys. Never again will I use uhaul or recommend this service to anyone. Unacceptable.

A bunch of bums loitering around this location, when you come in they bombard you trying to get you to get a truck from them. The manager Jeff was rude, uncourteous, and provided the absolute worst customer service i have experienced in a long time. Will never return to this location, just bad!

Renters beware. If you rent a van or truck with a car carrier and you want to return the car carrier separately, ask that they be rented with separate contracts. if they are rented on the same contract, you will not be able to return the car carrier without returning the van or truck at the same time.

I reserved a 10x10 truck. I submitted my credit card to hold the vehicle. When I went to pick it up, there were none available. It had been given away even though I showed up at the appointed time. What good is the reservation, if a vehicle isn't reserved?

The young latina woman who helped me yesterday was very professional and helpful. Joseph was rude, demanding and disrespectful. When I came to return the van Joseph was arguing with the manager on site and then with me, he even tried to hit me. I sent an email about this. I have been a customer of Uhaul for many years and I have never experienced any problems until today. When I got here the manager on site told me that I will be assisted for the return by one of the guys in the truck area. I had the van parked on the return section of the facility. Joseph the worker started arguing and yelling at the manager saying that he was busy, screaming from the other side of the parking lot. Then Joseph from the other side of the parking lot made a hand signal to me asking me to bring the keys to him. The manager told Joseph "the returning vehicle is at the returning section already, come to him he is waiting for you here" then Joseph started to argue again with the manager. Joseph was intimidating. He comes straight to me takes the keys as he is screaming to the manager. I asked Joseph to please stop screaming and to help me so I can leave. Joseph started to scream at me saying "you don't even know how busy and crazy it gets here" at that point I became upset. I told Joseph that he was being very disrespectful to his manager and to me his customer. He started screaming at me again saying "hey stop all that complaining I said to you to bring me the keys" then he comes with his chest up and made body moves as he was getting ready to hit me, he lifts both of his arms and comes towards me screaming "so what are you going to do uh?" The manager at that point asked Joseph to take off his uniform and to go into the office. Joseph went into saying "what the fuck bitch this is way too early for this" then slammed the door. They manager comes to me and apologized saying that he regretted the incident and that he was going to take care of me. Then Joseph inside from the desk tells me "here is your receipt sir have a nice day" I started to write this email, then he comes to me and apologized saying "I am sorry I was rude and I didn't mean to try and push you I have been having a hard time these days" I said to him that I was disrespected, and disappointed and I asked him why he was trying to hit me raising his arms and trying to push me with his chest. He apologized again and I left. Please take a moment and read this completely and understand that I am very disappointed, disrespected, and scared to be having the possibility of Joseph hitting me. I just had surgery and that would have been a real bad and painful experience. I have never experienced this before with Uhaul and I have used your services for many years and this must be addressed in the right way. You can contact me at 323-352-6472

Fix your website to pick up vehicles, you aren't able to click on the terms to accept it to move forward. Also hire more employees or have more employees working the location, there was only 2(One inside and other outside) and about 5 people waiting inside.

I received a call from someone telling me that the order at the store I had my reservation with was very crowded and I could visit him for a truck. I don't appreciate having my information shared with third parties or affiliated stores.

The staff was very friendly but there were only 2 of them. One was trying to run payroll and couldn't be disturbed. But he was out front, so it came across as rude. The girl who helped us kept getting distracted by another, very needy, customer so it ended up taking 45 minutes, even though we pre-registered online. I would suggest that if an employee is not available to help customers, he should not be seen by them. And if you are with one customer, the others need to wait!

more dolly's for your trucks upon reservations I recommend that all trucks should be equipped with a dolly and spare dolly's for customers who needs an extra one.

the only thing is , Have your staff arrive on time in the morning . they arrived 15 minutes late with Starbucks in hand . them they didn't have the brightest personality as well . over all everything was well taken care of . that fifteen minutes cost my company lost production by paying my guys just to wait around . had they been on time . we would have been gone by 8:15 , not 8:40 as i lost my place in line when I went to my truck to get something while waiting .
