I reserved a furniture dolly when I booked online. Upon arriving the morning of my scheduled reservation the dolly was unavailable. I was told by the customer service rep that I could go pick one up from another location. Really? Incur additional mileage on my bill to pick up equipment that was supposed to be provided to me at the site of where I pick up my Uhaul truck? She was not pleasant & offered no other alternative. Very displeased & very inconvenient. I would appreciate a partial refund for the inconvenience & lack of honoring the reservation. That would be a fair outcome.

Easy as 1-2-3 I scheduled a 10 foot cargo truck rental 2 nights in advance online. I got to the pickup location as scheduled. Took maybe 10 minutes at the most at the counter before taking the keys for the rental, and that includes the fact that there was a customer before me. When I initially made the reservation online, I booked the rental for three hours, and I told the representative that it might take four hours, in which she told me no problem, just call in if it was taking longer. So, I had the rental for approximately 3 1/2 hours with no issues. The truck was clean and well maintained, no issues whatsoever. Well suited for the job I had at hand. Drop off was as easy as it gets. If the need ever arises, I will not have any second thoughts about renting from this location again. As I said above, it's as easy as 1-2-3! Excellent experience!

Only problem I have is the way uhaul bills you. You pay up front the uhaul adds more charges after you returned. Uhaul charged me an extra $25 for after hours drop off and the office was still opened. I only rented for 3 hours. I rented at 2pm, dropped it off at 5pm and the office closes at 7 uhaul charged me an after hour charge. That’s BS. ILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN!!!!

Employees could be more pleasant and welcoming. I felt as though I was bothering them when trying to do business with them. For those of us that are not as technical savvy the online vehicle inspection was a hassle. Then I filled the truck up with gas when I returned it but the lady that checked me back in told me it was not full and charged me an additional $7. Very average to slightly below average customer experience.

Before I came, I called and made a reservation. I went to three different locations in the area before I got a truck even though I have a reservation number. The first location was my fault I was at the wrong location but the second place I had an actual reservation there but the truck was double booked so the guy called another location. So when I got to the called location they couldn’t pull me up in the system not even with the reservation number. The lady tried to tell me I only got a quote even though I have proof of the reservation number. It set me back two hours. I was very unsatisfied

The truck did not have a seat belt for the passenger seat!!! The seal around the driver door needs replacing because the door had to be held by hand in order to keep the road noise out. The door latch is fine but the road noise is considerably louder on the driver's side unless you pull the door tight.

While the "staff" were friendly, the place was not presentable at all. It is way off the main road, in the middle of nowhere, down a poorly maintained dirt road. It is so far down the road that you can't see that the location your driving to is anything more than a heap of old tires and beat up old semi tractors. But they were friendly enough and very quick.

I was scheduled to return my equipment to another location. The time said 8:00 A.M. Sunday. The instructions told me to park on the lot and return my keys. When I got there at 4:45 on Saturday, I found that the lot was locked up. I call, and I'm told "We just put those instructions on there. We don't know our dealers' hours. You'll have to return it when they are open." Which would not be until Monday morning. The rep found me a different location. It wasted about 45 minutes of my day and forced me to drive around. You are one of the worst companies to deal with of any in the country. You make it inconvenient. It's a shame there aren't more options.

The rate is very misleading. The 19.95 rate was closer to 80 bucks for a 4 hour in town move. I would have come out cheaper renting a pickup truck. $0.79 cents a mile is very steep!

The key drop box is confusing. Lift the lid and you can’t insert the large key. I didn’t know to drop it behind the flap! My teenager had to find that for me after we stood out there for 10 minutes

Could not get a receipt at checkout. Was told I would get a email but did not. The only email I received was showing I had missed a payment and was charged $15.00 late fee. Poor system/need receipt!

My truck wasn’t ready for my 24/7 rental. Good thing another office was still open! I had to call the hotline and get another truck arranged. The website kicked me off a few times trying to return the truck, but that could’ve been connection issues.

We asked if we would pick up the truck later than our 5:00p time on Friday, and was told "No problem, but we close at 8:00." Picked up at 7:00p and found my reservation was cancelled. He had to manually go in and do a new 2-day reservation, for which he accidentally put the return time at midnight the following night. I continued to receive texts and emails telling me my truck was due at midnight, but a phone call assured me that it wasn't due back until 5:00p Sunday. Inconvenient and frustrating. It would help if the renter was called or at least texted before a reservation is cancelled (regardless of what I was told verbally).

open at 7 am; I am waiting to see if the inconvenience policy that was explained to me will actually take place. If it does, then I will know that this Uhaul location at least cares about their customers. Thank the female supervisor for initially working things out with me.

The employee that helped me check out the truck in Pearl, MS (Hwy 80 E location) advised me I could add insurance coverage on the truck within 30 minutes of leaving the store. Later, another employee advised me that once I rented the vehicle I could not add insurance. Also, the same employee told me I could drop the truck off anywhere if I wasn’t sure where I would be close to. She said she would mark “customer not sure” and I could drop it off wherever. Once I returned the truck I was informed that I was at the wrong location. Once I called the 1800 Go UHAUL number, the lady on the phone was less than pleasant initially, but did say she would note the account and I could leave it at the Parkers location (419 E. Centeral Ave) in Wiggins, MS. However, the lady at the call center stated she knew the original employee that checked me out and said “I just can’t see her telling you that”. So, I felt as if she was calling me a liar. The gentlemen at Parker’s were extremely helpful! They were the only good thing about my UHAUL experience.
